I watched Amanda's face transform as she processed whatever Arthur had told her over the phone. Her expression was filled with deep worry and conflicted emotions.

Seeing the logic in her brother's words, she finally nodded with resignation. "Okay, take good care of her," she said into the phone before hanging up.

The moment the call ended, I couldn't contain my curiosity and concern any longer.
