Assuming the "old Alpha" was absolutely furious with me after witnessing my lunch with Arthur, I decided to strategically skip going home after my classes ended.

The last thing I wanted was to face his inevitable interrogation and those piercing dark eyes filled with jealous accusations.

I went directly to my cozy dorm room to lie down and decompress from the day's dramatic events.

But at exactly 6:30 PM, I received an unexpected call from Daniel Clark ...
