I rushed through the pack healer center corridors, my heart was pounding with anticipation and residual fear as I pushed open the door.

I burst into the room to find Olivia looking pale against the white hospital bedding, but her face lit up with what appeared to be genuine joy when she saw me. The sight of her smile sent relief flooding through my system - she looked happy, not distressed or in pain.
