I had the option to walk home, but Adrian said, and I quote, "I can't risk anything happening to you, I'd never forgive myself," so he decided that we would take a car instead. It wasn't like anything was going to happen to me if I walked like all the other regular people.

Jasmine laughed in my head, "Yet, you're as red as a tomato," and I wanted to slap her. With a hint of sarcasm seeping through, I remarked, "Jeez, what a supportive wolf you are."
