Niyol's POV

　　I couldn't believe that sister of mine, Laci can't possibly be my sister, so she really separated me from my mate? After being apart for almost two month, now that we finally had a chance to be together, she had to drag Koko to her car, doesn't she even pity me at all?

　　Whatever, by the time we get back to the palace, I will be able to spend all the time in the world together with her. And I'll finally be able to treat her like the queen that she is.

　　She had already gone through so much in her life, that was the least I could do for her as her mate.

　　Just then I looked ahead and I noticed that the car ahead of me, which was carrying my mate and my sister, was gradually slowing down.

　　Even though I could not spot any reason on the road that would cause that. But then the car stopped abruptly, and then the engine died out. I came out of my car, curious about what had happened.

　　“What is going on? Why did the car stop?"

　　I asked the chauffeur as he came out scratching his head, he bent down looking at the tires of the car before looking back at me and said, "Your majesty, I think we have a flat tire."

　　"You don't mean it, a flat tire? how did that even happen?“

　　”I don't know, your majesty... something must have punctured the tire..."

　　As he was speaking, my mate and sister walked out of the car wondering what was going on and I filled them up on what had happened.

　　“Why did we have to have a flat tire now? And there is no spare too." Laci complained.

　　"Then we just have to call someone for a new tire, Laci, you can ride with me and the alpha..."

　　I could not believe that I was hoping that my sister would say no so that I would be closer to my mate, a king who was supposed to have self-control?

　　“Yes, I think that will be the best idea..." I agreed.

　　But I was surprised when Laci shook her head in refusal.

　　"No, don't worry about it, I can wait till the spare tire comes. It's better than being the third wheel for both of the two lovebirds..."

　　I could see how Koko's face got so red after she said that.

　　“But are you sure you will be comfortable waiting here? The tire might take a while..." I reminded Laci and she nodded.

　　"Don't worry about it, I'm sure that you're actually happy that things turned out like this..."

　　She said to me with a teasing voice, as she nudged my ribs with her elbow.

　　“Why on earth would I be happy that things turned out like this? But since you insist on waiting, and not riding with us, I guess there's not much I can do...

　　"My love?" I signalled Koko.

　　I didn't say anything more before my mate took my hand and we walked over to my car and entered it. The driver took off again into the road and left Laci behind. I was feeling really bad that we were leaving her, but the spare tire will be arriving soon; and that meant that I could spend more time with Koko.

　　"Are you sure we shouldn't have talked her into coming with us?"

　　She asked as she rested her head on my shoulder, I pulled her closer and stroked her hair, her sweet scent filling up the air and my nostrils. I missed this down to my bones and I could feel the instant pressure in my pants, so I had to adjust myself.

　　This mate bond is really a scary thing, just the littlest or simplest things drove me crazy and wanting more, but I could not let my desires go wild when she was still injured, so I had to be satisfied with stroking her hair, even though I wanted to do more... far more.

　　It had been far too long.

　　“You know... when Scarlet and Henry kidnapped me, I was so scared..."

　　She suddenly spoke, breaking the silence between both of us.

　　"Of course, they could have killed you-"

　　”No..." She cut into my words, "that wasn't why I was scared, I was worried that I would never be able to see you again..."

　　Her arms wrapped around my waist like a blanket and I felt warmth rushing through my body. She was making it so hard for me to control myself, now that we had already mated, her body would heal faster than usual... and it wasn't even that deep either...

　　No, Niyol! Control yourself! A king should have self-control...

　　“I'm sorry that you went through that, I thought that my whole world was falling apart when I found out that you were missing... I couldn't possibly go through that again..."

　　And then the image of a body attached to a rope swinging from the roof filled my mind, the feel of an ice cold and pale body... eyes that used to look up at me lovingly were closed forever.

　　"I won't let you go through that again..."

　　Her voice brought me back to the present, to her warm body softly pressed against mine and her lovely eyes looking up into mine.

　　“Nobody is ever going to separate us again, we are going to be together forever now...”

　　“What if your other mate comes back and begs you to forgive him?"

　　I asked her in a teasing voice, she brought herself even closer to me.

　　"Which one are we talking about?"

　　We both laughed and she replied, "They won't even have a chance, especially the first one, Gad, even if he comes to me crawling on his knees begging me to take him back. I have only one true mate and that's you..."

　　Her lips came to my ear and whispered something I didn't even hear, because I was rushed over with a flush of shivers all over my body and I didn't know when my hands came down to her waist and she smiled.

　　“Then I guess you're stuck with me...” I said.
