William's POV

　　16 years ago….

　　After Jason had stabbed me and left me for dead, Nick had found me and got me to the royal packs doctor as quick as he could. As I was unconscious, I had met Selena at her magical lake.

　　"Hello again William… I thank you"

　　"For what?"

　　"For accepting and loving my daughter. I know you found her in her last minutes and I'm glad she didn't pass alone" tears glistening in her eyes.

　　"I'm so sorry Selena. I should have known Jason was up to something, I sensed he had changed but I didn't want to believe it. When he started meeting with that group of rogues that were refused sanctuary I should have acted and put a stop to it but against my better judgment I didn't. I put my trust in him. Now I have failed my family, my pack and you. You entrusted me with your own flesh and blood and look what's happened" I looked to the floor feeling too ashamed to even look at my goddess.

　　"My dear child, you cannot think like that, everything happens for a reason whether we like it or not you know that. You are not to blame for one wolf's jealousy. The fact that you feel to blame for the events that have unfolded just goes to show how compassionate a ruler you are. There is a reason your bloodline was chosen for the royal line, and you know that. You come from a linage of superior wolves, fierce to protect any wolf that needs it and extremely loyal and fair. You have not let me or Vanessa down but you thinking like this will not end well for your daughter. My granddaughter." She spoke so calmly as she gripped my chin guiding me to face her.

　　"Now we don't have long before you wake but I need you to not go rushing back to face your beta. Do not let your wolves revenge get the better of you. You need to make a plan. Let the world believe you have died, let them believe that losing your Luna let your beta take advantage and overpower you with the poison like the coward he truly is. Trust me and trust yourself, you will know when the time is right for you to step back into the light. At the moment you are too weak. Had you been a normal wolf you would be dead by now, but the power you have within you the power that's been passed down through generations is what's kept you alive."

　　"But what about Angel she's just lost her mother how can I let her loose me as-well. And what power? I don't have any. Vanessa was gifted because she came from you and Angel is already showing them traits but as for me…"

　　"William, will you let me finish please. As you know I bore Vanessa to an alpha of another pack, the first royal alpha king was also bore by a god. That is why you are known as supreme. The first wolf I ever created. He wanted to have a family of his own and so I sent him to earth and bestowed him with great power. That power may have weakened slightly but it is still there. Your gamma and his mate, trust that they will raise Angel in the right way. Remember what I have told you, let them believe you have died until the time is right"

　　Before I knew it, I was awake, on a bed in my pack's hospital. Nick was by my side; in my weakened state I ordered the room to be locked and blinds closed so that no-one would know of what was happening. I told Nick that I wanted him and Marie to raise Angel until the time was right. I would let the world think I was dead; this would give me time to fully recover and plan Jason's downfall just as the Selena had said.

　　Present day…..

　　I had been informed that Angel was being held at the Hair of the Dog hotel in the centre of Crescent City, I knew the time was coming for me to reveal myself again and so I made my way to that location. Keeping to the shadows as I had done for the last sixteen years. All of a sudden, I felt a psychic blast come from the hotel, knowing It must have come from Angel I used my wolf a speed getting to the room in less than three seconds. Using my strength, I flung the door open taking it off the hinges. There on the floor fully naked was Jason. To say he was shocked to see me was an understatement.

　　"William" was all he could say his eyes practically bulging from their sockets.

　　"Get up you bastard. NOW" I roared shaking the entire building.

　　Angel was unconscious on the bed, to send a psychic blast of that magnitude would have used a lot of her strength.

　　"I will kill you for what you have done. SHE IS MY DAUGHTER AND YOU THINK YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO LAY YOUR HANDS ON HER" my anger was evident.

　　My wolf was trying to surface my eyes turning red instead of their usual black. The power Selena had told me about was flowing through me. It took everything I had not to use it there and then.

　　"You're supposed to be dead why are you not dead. I f**king killed you" Jason roared back at me. His voice however was weak and I could smell the fear rolling off of him.

　　"Did you forget who I am. Did you really think you could kill me? You're a weak wolf and an even weaker man. To resort to trying to rape an innocent girl trying to gain power she doesn't yet possess. My innocent girl." I roared at him as I grabbed him by the neck throwing him out of the room over the balcony and into the cold stone ground.

　　As he landed on the ground outside, I saw Nick and Carl followed by a few other wolves. Nick just smiled when he saw me, and Carl was unfazed. For Carl was the one that had told me of this location he knew I couldn't sit back any longer. Nick had given me Carl's name before I disappeared, he spoke highly of his skill set and so I sought him out. After helping him deal with the wolf he was charged with finding I had employed him to find Angel.

　　"WHO ARE YOU" a snarl came from a young man that pushed past Nick.

　　"I am William the rightful alpha king to the royal pack. Angel's father. Am I right in assuming that you are Alpha Jake?"

　　"But how your supposed to be dead. And yes, I am Jake. Your daughter is my mate where is she"

　　"That my boy is a long story. Angel is upstairs. She's unconscious now. She exerted a lot of energy in fighting off this piece of shit" I said kicking Jason's unconscious body across the ground.
