Jakes POV

　　As Alpha William told me Angel was upstairs and unconscious, I raced to her side silently praying to the goddess that she had been reached in time. Though I was gutted it wasn't me to find her I'm glad it was her father. She was completely naked the clothes she had worn ripped to shreds on the floor. Using my heightened senses, I sniffed the air in the room and was glad that Jason and Angels scents hadn't mixed, he had failed at mating with her. I took off my shirt and dressed Angel in it hoping that once she woke my scent would keep her calm and make her feel safe.

　　I lifted her gently placing one arm under her head and another under her knees trying to be as gentle as I possibly could. As I held Angel her head fell against my chest, the sparks that danced along my skin felt amazing, like nothing I'd ever felt before. I looked at her beautiful face taking in every perfect feature growling when I noticed that her lip was split, and she had a bruise to her cheek. Whilst the liquidised silver was in her bloodstream she wouldn't heal. I needed to get her to the pack doctor and get them to flush it out.

　　"That bastard beat her as well as forcing himself on her" Hunter was furious that some wannabe king had hurt our mate.

　　"Don't worry Hunter he will fucking pay for this. He's physically hurt her that much is obvious; I just hope this whole ordeal hasn't fucked her up mentally"

　　It didn't matter how long it took I would help her overcome this. As I carried her down the stairs, I mind linked Benson and told him to bring the car around. As soon as he arrived, I laid her out on the backseat covering her with a blanket.

　　"Please tell me he didn't" worry written all over Nicks face.

　　"No, I don't think he did I can smell her, their scents haven't mixed, and she's unmarked" I sighed whilst rubbing my face.

　　"I want that mutt cuffed and, in the dungeon, immediately" I continued.

　　William had his turn with Jason now it was mine. After returning to my pack house, I took Angel up to my room placing her in the bed and tucked her in. It didn't take long for Marie to arrive after Nick mind linked her to come and sit with Angel until she woke and whilst the doctor could do what was needed to rid her blood of the silver. I really didn't want her to be alone. As much as I wanted to be the one to stay with her, I knew that with all she had just been through she needed family more.

　　"Jake he's awake"

　　"Thanks mate I'll be right there. Oh, and Benson make sure the cuffs are tight."

　　"Already ahead of you man"

　　Benson knew me so well; we both had the same sick and twisted thoughts when it came to interrogation. On my way to the dungeon, I bumped into Sid who had a massive bloody grin on his face clearly this boy didn't know what the hell has gone on. Sid was my gamma; his dad was gamma to my dad and so on. He had been away visiting his sister who was mated to a wolf at the blood stone pack if I remember right.

　　"Yo man congratulations. Where is this unlucky lady" he was practically jumping with joy as he patted me on the back.

　　"Sid you may want to calm yourself. A lot has happened, and you have got a massive job to do."

　　"Don't leave me hanging man where is she" his eyes roaming the room behind me.

　　"Come to the dungeons and il explain on the way"

　　As we reached the door to the dungeon, I could swear someone was watching us but I couldn't be sure. After what had happened tonight it was probably me just being paranoid. The dungeon was a horrible place. It wasn't clean and it definitely stank. My family had used these dungeons ever since the pack had been formed and I think they just left the blood to dry to scare the next prisoner.　　 　　  When me and Sid got to Jason's cell it looked like William had given him a fairly good beating. Now it's my turn.

　　Crystals POV

　　"Ahhhh why doesn't he want me. I mean seriously I'm one of the sexiest she-wolves here. I've got long wavy chocolate hair, dark eyes I've got good cheekbones. I mean I look after myself by getting my nails done and moisturising every day. We have already slept together I know what he likes and how he likes it. He should be taking me as his chosen mate." 　　 　　  "Goddesses get a grip, he's not our mate. When we do meet him, you won't want Alpha Jake anymore"

　　"Oh shut up Lilly, your my wolf your meant to want what I want and that's Jake" I was becoming irritated.

　　Looking at the time knowing that it was late, and Jake would now be on his way back from whatever party he went to I decided I'd make my way to his room. If I turned up and his mate rejected him then he would want me. As I came into the pack house, I saw Jake and Sid heading down to the dungeon, what the hell were they doing this time of night. Yes, I'm nosey so I followed them. 　　  Just as I got to the door an older guy was just exiting and bumped into me. For an older guy he was hot like really hot and the aura surrounding him was more powerful than Jakes.　　 　　  "Sorry miss but this is not the place for a young girl such as yourself" his face was hard as he spoke.

　　"Umm hi I was just wanting to know if Jake would be long" I said smiling up at him.

　　He just raised his eyebrow as if studying me.　　 　　  "I suggest you put your needs into writing and leave it on his desk. He is busy right now and will be joining his mate shortly" he scowled at me.

　　"His mate? How can he have a mate somewhere else when I'm already with him so Thanks for your advice, but it really isn't needed. Jake loves me so he wouldn't accept anyone else" I smirked at the man and stomped off.

　　Who the fuck is this little girl that thinks she can just turn eighteen and steal my man. I will find out and I will show her just how wrong she is!!
