Jakes POV

　　The last week seemed to have gone by really quick I just don't know where the time has gone. Me and Angel had fully mated and marked, me and Hunter couldn't be happier. We felt complete. Angel had spent the week getting to know me and her dad, I was glad she finally got to know him, but I couldn't help but feel jealous of the time he was spending with her. I knew we had a lifetime to get to know each other but it wasn't enough. Things had been quiet on the Jason front; we hadn't heard anything from them and there hadn't been any other rogue attacks. Benson had resumed training sessions as we wanted all pack members to be able to defend themselves if we ever got caught off guard.

　　Today I had barely seen Angel for she had been with Alice and Marie planning her Luna ceremony, however we still needed a date. Trouble is Angel could go into heat at any point. Once wolves had marked each other the female could go into heat anytime from two weeks to a month after. When this did happen, she wouldn't be able to leave the pack house and I would be by her side until it was over. I wasn't under any circumstances going to give an unmated male a chance at mating with her if he happened to catch her scent. Benson being my beta would take over my duties on a temporary basis until the heat had passed. Lucky for him though I had most of the work done already, all he would have to do is just sign and process any pack requests or make changes to the patrol Rota's if needed.

　　"Hey Jake, you busy?" Angel came into my office giving me a kiss.

　　"I can spare time for you babe what's up" I asked pulling her onto my lap.

　　"I was talking to Rita earlier and she seems really down. Alice told me it would have been her wedding anniversary tomorrow, so I was thinking of making her dinner. You know try to cheer her up a bit."

　　"That's a nice idea I think she will like that. You're going to be the best Luna this pack has ever had. It's little things like that I think we need" I told her watching as a massive smile made its way onto her face.

　　"Ok great, I'm going to see if auntie Marie wants to come shopping with me this afternoon to get a few bits then if that's ok with you?" She asks.

　　"Babe you don't need to ask permission to go out, as long as you let me know where you are until your Luna ceremony and please make sure you take Sid with you. With Jason out there still I don't want you being on your own ok"

　　"Ok I will don't worry. Thank you" she gives me a quick kiss before she runs out the office.

　　After finishing up in my office I bumped into Benson and Alice, they were on their way to the dining room for lunch so knowing they wouldn't mind I joined them. Looking at Alice I couldn't help but notice how her skin seemed to be glowing. She was naturally tanned but she looked 'different' .

　　"Alice are you ok?" I asked her, not missing the side eyed glance Benson gave her.

　　"Of course, why wouldn't I be? It's a nice day, Mrs Roberts is cooking spaghetti bolognaise for lunch which you both know is my fave. I couldn't be better"

　　It was obvious that whatever they were hiding they didn't want to tell me, I just hoped it wasn't anything bad.

　　Alice's POV

　　The moment Jake asked me if I was ok Benson mind linked me to tell him I was fine. I hoped he hadn't found out as the last thing I wanted was to be treated differently. The only people that knew were Benson and Angel. Benson knew first as he's my mate and it concerns him, but I told Angel because we had become close over the last week. It was really nice to finally have someone to talk to about things like this. Because I was the beta female many of the she-wolves avoided me at all costs, and being the only ranked female it was lonely when the guys were busy.

　　Jake asked Benson if he wanted to go for a run after lunch as Angel was busy with Marie, but we had an appointment to get to at the pack hospital, so he had to make up a lame excuse to not go with him.

　　"Why don't you help Angel out in the kitchen" I snorted knowing full well he didn't like to cook.

　　"I would rather run around in a bright pink tutu with fairy wings" Me and Benson just laughed our heads off, food spraying everywhere.

　　"Well I don't know what to say to you then man, il go for a run with you later if you want" Benson told him now feeling guilty.

　　"You guys really have the memories of a goldfish don't you. We literally just mentioned you helping Angel in the kitchen, Mrs Roberts surprise dinner… ringing any bells" I asked them snaking my hands around in front of them.

　　"We..well we meant after that obviously" Jake stuttered.

　　"Yeh obviously" I laughed at them.

　　After lunch Benson and I headed over to the pack hospital to see Dr. Jones, on arrival one of the nurses lead us to the waiting room until we were called. The waiting room wasn't like the rest of the hospital for it was magnolia in colour with scenery pictures on the wall in white wooden photo frames and a tv on one of the walls. The rest of the hospital was the usual white wash and grey tiled flooring. We must of waited for a little over ten minutes before Dr.Jones called for us and it was nerve racking. Setting myself onto the bed and pulling my top up, Dr Jones put some cold gel on my belly and then turned on her machine. After a couple minutes of nail biting silence, she turned the screen so we could see.

　　"Well congratulations betas you are definitely pregnant. Your pup seems to be healthy; heartbeat is nice and strong and by the looks of the pups size, you are around four weeks pregnant" she told us with a smile.

　　"See told you this small belly wasn't from eating extra" I told Benson smacking his arm.

　　"Did you see that doc she beats me I need help"

　　"HAHA I saw nothing Beta Benson sorry" she laughed. "Right I'm going to get one of the nurses to come and take some blood so we can check your iron levels, sometimes in pregnancy your levels can drop which can make you very ill meaning the pups health would also be affected"

　　"No worries doc but seriously please send someone to stop this abuse" Benson chuckled at her. Dr.Jones just shook her head with a smile as she left us in the room.

　　"I can't believe we are actually going to have our own pup. I love you" I said giving him a kiss.

　　"I know I can't wait; this little fella will be a heart breaker and I love you too" he replied.

　　"He certainly won't be I'll make sure he's a gentleman" I chuckled.

　　On the car ride back to the pack house I couldn't stop staring at the ultrasound picture the nurse printed for us. It didn't seem real, not yet anyway. I sent a snap of the picture to Angel who judging by her response was just as excited as us. Once dinner was over with Mrs Roberts tonight, we planned on telling Jake and asking him to be God father. Angel knew she had to act surprised when we tell Jake, so I hope her acting skills are good I smirked to myself.

　　Pulling up at the pack house Jake mind linked Benson for us to come straight to the office as he had something important to say.

　　"Come in" Jake shouted as we knocked on his office door.

　　"What's so important that it can't wait" Benson asked him.

　　Jake pulled a black box out of his desk draw before walking round to us. He opened the box and inside was a Princess cut pink diamond ring.

　　"OMG Jakey I accept" Benson told him making us laugh till our faces hurt.
