Angels POV

　　Pregnant how the hell could I possibly be pregnant and how could Jake know before me.

　　"Well, when a man and a woman have intercourse and the man releases…" Star was laughing away as she took the micky out of me.

　　"Shut up Star I'm not an idiot. Obviously, I know how you get pregnant, but I don't get how I can be. I take the pill. I didn't want to have a pup until after all this shit was behind us"

　　"Well obviously a much greater plan is in the works for us so suck it up and get over it"

　　"Star did you know. You don't seem very shocked" I asked knowing she had a tendency to keep secrets from me at times.

　　"I did yes. So did Hunter. But Selena told us we couldn't say anything. It was something you had to figure out on your own, had we said anything to you there would have been repercussions"

　　Before I had a chance to scream at my wolf, Sid opened my bedroom door closing it behind him and locking it.

　　"What the hell is going on" I asked him feeling extremely agitated.

　　"Vampires are in the Kingdom. They found some old tunnels after destroying one of the patrol stations. Alpha King…. Sorry your dad, wants you out of the way. Something about carrying precious cargo"

　　"Where is Jake? Sid, you can't expect me to sit back and let everyone fight to protect me"

　　"Angel don't even think about it. I'm sorry but I've been told to keep you here until told otherwise. Please just do what's been asked Angel, let your dad, Jake and Alpha Rick handle it"

　　"Sid where is my mate they cannot do this alone" Star growled coming forward making Sid step back raising his hands to show he meant to disrespect.

　　"Luna please, they have the Royal Pack army helping, besides you wouldn't be able to get out anyway. Henrik has put a spell on the door sealing it. Hashtag sorry not sorry"

　　"Angel do you remember what I said about our power of accessing a memory. Do as I say, and we can get out" . Star growled annoyed by us being locked up like some kind of fragile item.

　　Doing as Star said I walked towards Sid backing him into a corner and grabbing a hold of his head. Holding him firmly in place I closed my eyes and pictured Sid with Henrik clearing my mind of everything else.

　　"Now listen to the spell he cast. It's one that allows anyone else to leave but not us. I don't know a lot about spells but one thing I have noticed is that the majority of them if said in reverse, breaks that spell" Stars voice was soft yet held authority as she sent feelings of calmness towards me allowing me to focus better.

　　I listened to the conversation that unravelled in my dad's office between my dad and Henrik as both Sid and Jake sat there silently. Knowing what needed to be said I let go of Sid's head and faced the bedroom door. Holding my arms towards the door I repeated what I had seen Henrik chant backwards hoping Star was right and this would work. As I opened my eyes, I saw how my skin glowed and looking at my reflection in the mirror that hang on the wall my eyes also held a glow making the blue impossible to miss; I had noticed how this happened each time I used my gifts. Grabbing the handle, I opened the door. Taking a second to look back at the disbelief on Sid's face and knowing if I somehow survived today, I would need to apologise to him. Turning my attention back to the open door, I ran down the corridor.

　　As I got to the bottom of the staircase the smell of something sickly sweet entered my nose causing a wave of nausea to wash over me.

　　"That's the smell of a vampire. Angel be careful, being pregnant will amplify our power. If not careful there's no telling what damage we could cause" Star was pacing in circles in my mind waiting to take over should the need arise.

　　I don't know how but I had this feeling deep in the pit of my stomach telling me Jake would be in the centre of the battle. Knowing he was up against something we hadn't fought before had me feeling uneasy.

　　Suddenly a pale skinned man stepped in front of me his eyes red like a wild animal, there was no doubt in my mind this was a vampire. As he lunged for me, I spun to the side grabbing hold of his arm snapping it, for once I was glad of all the training sessions both Uncle Nick and Aunt Marie had given me. As he let out a hiss of pain, I jumped onto his back snapping his neck. I watched as he fell to the floor as nothing more than dust. As I exited the palace, you could barely see the frost that lay on the ground for everywhere was covered in blood with the bodies of a few dead wolves. Wolves were fighting vampires everywhere you looked. Making my way through the war zone my heart fell into my stomach as the crisp cold wind blew Jakes musky scent towards me, looking to my left I spotted Jakes black wolf Hunter fighting with two wolves and a vampire. They had to have been hybrids. Worried for her mate Star screamed at me to help him something I had already planned on doing.

　　"Oi you ugly mongrel of a mutt" I shouted at the patchy grey hybrid gaining his attention, giving Jake the upper hand, he was able to kill the vampire and was now dealing with the other hybrid.

　　The grey wolf stalked towards me growling as it stepped closer. Within seconds its paws had left the ground as it jumped through the air aiming for my throat with such speed. Ducking underneath him I grabbed his tail and slammed him into the ground using Stars strength. The hybrid was definitely stronger and quicker than your average wolf, within no time at all the wolfs head turned towards me as it pinned me beneath it, its jaws snapping away as it tried to bite me. Using my strength, I grabbed its jaw and pulled it until the lower half broke.

　　I screamed when a pair of hands grabbed me pulling me from under the collapsed unconscious hybrid after it passed out from pain and blood loss, only calming down when I was spun around to see it was Jake. I melted into him letting the sparks and his scent chase away all my fear.

　　Jakes POV

　　Angel distracted one of the hybrids giving me a chance to kill the vampire and the other hybrid that surrounded me a task that wasn't easy even for a pure-blooded alpha like myself. They were incredibly hard to kill as unlike a normal wolf, the only way to kill them was by removing their heart or their head.

　　Hunter was furious that Angel had endangered herself especially now that she knew she was pregnant. I too was angry, yet I could understand why she did, had I been in her shoes I would have done the exact same thing, that's one thing I couldn't deny even if I wanted to. After dealing with the hybrid, I looked around frantically for Angel only to find her covered in blood and trapped underneath the unconscious hybrid which sent my heart rate skyrocketing. She screamed when I grabbed a hold of her so I could pull her free but calmed down when she realised it were me. I checked her over for injuries even though she tried to assure me the blood she wore wasn't hers, relief washing over me knowing she wasn't hurt.

　　"I'm guessing you didn't take lightly to being locked away" I chuckled before turning round grabbing a vampire by the throat as he appeared behind me thinking I hadn't noticed him, that was a mistake on his behalf.

　　"Not in the slightest. When we are done here, we are going to have a serious talk I mean it Jake" she replied before running off joining the rest of the fight. You couldn't miss that she was pissed by the aura she was emitting.

　　I followed Angel into the main of the battle running past wolves fighting vampires and leaping over dead bodies, some in wolf form some in human. I was determined to protect Angel and my unborn pup at any costs. I knew we needed to be on the lookout for this 'Lord Vladamir' however none of us knew what he looked like which was going to make this whole thing more dangerous.

　　Snow was starting to fall from the sky as the wind picked up causing a blizzard making it harder to see what was around us, luckily for being a werewolf we wouldn't feel the plummeting temperature the same as humans would. Hot on Angels heels I watched in complete awe how she was able to break the necks of vampires with just one movement of her arm, Hunter puffed his chest in my mind feeling proud of his mate. The way her eyes glowed an almost neon blue acting like a beacon in the storm, her skin having a beautiful glow as she did so; she looked like a true goddess. With my eyes locked on my mate I failed to notice Benson's wolf Rocky fighting a hybrid until they came barrelling into me knocking into the wall of a brick building.

　　"Fuck that hurt. Hunter, I think it's time we shift again and finish this fucking war" I growled as I got to my feet.

　　"About time, I need a stretch" he huffed as if he was bored of waiting.

　　With Hunter taking control he aided Rocky in knocking the hybrid unconscious allowing them the time they needed to rip it apart. The metallic taste had a hint of something sweet, something that mixed together causing a more than normal disgusting aftertaste. All of a sudden everyone stopped fighting, looking towards the entry of the kingdom. Following their gazes stood a tall pale dark haired man whose eyes held a menacing look even if they were a mesmerising shade of pink. I couldn't help the deafening growl that escaped Hunters lips as we noticed this vampire had his hands around Angel's neck whilst the corners of his mouth edged up revealing a devilish grin and William on his knees in front of them.

　　"Vladamir" Hunter and I roared using the full force of our Alpha tone as our voices merged into one, William turning to look at me pleading with his eyes to save his daughter, to save the Kingdoms lost Luna princess.

　　"Come to save your Luna Princess have you mutt. Shift back now or I will end her where she stands in front of everyone" he hissed in a loud deep voice.

　　"You won't kill her, you need her" Hunter roared.

　　"Care to test me and find out. SHIFT BACK NOW OR ELSE"
