Angels POV

　　"So, Luna, Alpha, the pups appear to be growing at an astonishing rate. The growth they have shown over the last two weeks is something I have never in all my years as a doctor seen before. If I hazard a guess, I would simply put it down to your goddess bloodline. Nevertheless, I'm pleased to say they are both completely healthy, so I assure you there is no need to worry. Are you wanting to know the genders of them or are you wanting it a surprise?" We we're back for another check up with Dr Jones as Jake thought something was wrong when I almost doubled in size overnight.

　　"We would however you aren't to tell anyone. We hope you can understand that we want it to be a surprise for the pack" Jake responded using the slightest tone of an Alpha command.

　　"Yes Alpha, well in that case congratulations your having twin girls"

　　I was shocked to say the least, deep down I had convinced myself I was having one of each. Not that it mattered for it wouldn't change anything. Jake and I would love them no matter what. I looked at Jake who had remained silent not knowing how to take that he wouldn't be getting a boy, well this time at least. I knew it would be a blow for him as the Alpha he needed an heir which according to our laws needed to be male to take over when the time came. It was a stupid law; I made a mental note there and then to speak with my dad and have him petition to have it changed. Why couldn't there be a female Alpha? I felt guilty knowing I hadn't given him a boy though which he clearly felt through our bond as he soon grabbed my hand in his making small circles on the back of my hand with him thumb.

　　After leaving the hospital we headed back to the pack house, we had a lot to do before the weekend. Jake still had to pick his best man which he had tried to avoid with every opportunity he had. The wedding was in a week and although the final arrangements had been completed there was still plenty to do.

　　"Before I forget the guys are planning a games night tonight" my voice broke the silence in the car as we pulled out front of the pack house, Jake hadn't said much since we found out the pups were girls.

　　"Games night?" Jake responded whilst cocking an eyebrow clearly catching on to the fact we were up to something.

　　"Yes, Ariel thought it would help you choose your best man. Both Benson and Sid must answer questions and complete trials or something. She will explain more later but it sounds fun"

　　"Urgh fine. But I'm not making the decision. They are both my best mates I can't choose between them"

　　Jake didn't want to upset anyone by deciding. Which is exactly why Ariel came up with this idea.

　　"Jake I can't get up"

　　"Ha ha never mind looks like we will just have to stay in here all night. Not to worry there are other things we can do to entertain ourselves" I burst out in laughter while lying on the bed as Jake wiggles his eyebrows.

　　I had come for a nap after dinner but yet again couldn't get up afterwards. Jake knelt on the bed bedside me whilst slowly caressing my legs. I knew full well what he was doing as did he because within seconds my arousal had filled the entire room like an over-sprayed perfume. Jake climbed on top of me placing his face in the crook of my neck planting little kisses all the way up my neck and jaw line. With my pregnancy nearing its end the level of horniness I was experiencing was like nothing I had felt before. 　　"Someone's hot for me" Jake chuckled in a low tone as his lips reached mine.

　　"It's a shame we have to participate in this 'games night' isn't it" Jake spoke with a cruel smile playing on his lips as he pulled away.

　　"Uh get here and finish what you started" my tone that of a begging temptress. I was horny as hell thanks to him, and I was not leaving this room whilst I was in this state.

　　"We seem to be in bit of a pickle then don't we. You want to 'play' here yet have given your word to the others. Whatever will we do"

　　"Jake… I need you"

　　Without saying another word his lips assaulted mine. As his rough hands tore the clothes from my body, I instantly pulled the cover over my bump. I didn't like him seeing naked like this. I felt gross and didn't want him to look at me in disgust, to find me unattractive.

　　"Do not cover yourself Angel. I want to see you. All of you" his voice was demanding as he registered my actions, this only caused the fire between my legs to burn like wildfire. "There is nothing wrong with you, has your body has changed? Yes. Does it sicken me? Not in the slightest. I find it sexy as hell that my beautiful mate is sacrificing her figure to provide us with a family. Tell me there is nothing wrong with you?"

　　"Now Angel"

　　"There is nothing wrong with me"

　　That was all it took as his hands travelled down my body letting the sparks dance along my skin as they found their way to the centre of my raging fire. My core was throbbing away needing to be touched. A feeling that was soon seen to as Jake inserted two fingers pumping slowly as his thumb rubbed gentle circles on my clit. Jake began to move his kisses from my neck down to my breasts as he took it in turns sucking on each of them while fondling with the other. Before long, his face was nestled between my legs devouring me with his mouth as if he were a man that had long been starved.

　　My body began to twitch as stars danced in my line vision, I had hit my climax yet the fire remained. Getting to my knees with the help of Jake I pushed him down while unbuckling his jeans. 　　Jakes POV

　　"Shit where is the hospital bag I can't find it" I shouted from the walk-in wardrobe as Angel leant over the bed groaning into the comforter as another contraction came along.

　　"Urgh, goddess they are getting closer together. What in the goddesses name are you doing in there?"

　　Having finally found the bag I was looking for I ran into the bedroom to find Angel with tears streaming down her face. Through the bond I could feel but a fraction of the pain she felt as each contraction hit. Throwing the bag on my shoulder I picked Angel up bridal style and carried her out to the car. As we rounded the corner Benson was there waiting with the door open alongside Sid and Ariel who had Megan in her arms as she rocked her to sleep.

　　"Good luck guys, once Sally arrives to look after Megan we will be there" Ariel said stepping forward as she gave us a smile.

　　Nodding my head in appreciation, we got into the car and headed for the hospital. As we arrived some nurses were waiting out front for us with a bed for me to place Angel on. Benson patted me on the shoulder his face held a reassuring smile, yet it was impossible to miss the hint of sadness that lingered in his eyes as we he remained in the waiting area. I knew being here was hard for him as it was the birth of his daughter in the very same hospital that ended his mate's life, but I was more than thankful that he was able to put his feelings aside and came to support us regardless.

　　"Alpha I need you to stand over there while I get the Luna into a nighty and hook her up to the machine" a nurse gestured for me to step aside as she proceeded with her task.

　　"Good evening Luna Angel, so I hear you think your waters have gone" Dr Jones voice was loud as she entered the room while walking to the machines to inspect the paper being printed from it. "Ok so I can see by these readings you are getting strong contractions which means things are moving along nicely, I'm going to have to examine you now ok. I'm going to check your waters have gone and see if you are dilated and if so by how many centimetres. You may feel a slight discomfort as I'm going to apply some pressure. I need to reach the back of your cervix in order to confirm things, now if you can lay back and relax I need you to put your heels together and bring your knees up for me… that's it now take a deep breath… ok I can feel the cervix…"

　　"But it's too early. I have another two and half weeks before my due date" Angels was frantic assuming something bad was going to happen being as they would be born prematurely.

　　"Yes it's early but remember you're not only caring one alpha pup your caring two alpha pups. Your due date became flexible the moment you conceived I'm afraid. Right so I can confirm your waters have definitely gone, and I'd say your about… six centimetres almost seven. You still have a way to go and unfortunately there's no telling how long this can take; the pups will make their appearance when they are good and ready. Now I know you wanted to do this without pain relief, is that still what you want?"

　　"Yes, I don't want anything" Angel grunted as she squeezed the life out my hand as another contraction rippled through her.

　　"Well done Luna, now try and relax before the next one comes ok. Rest is vital at the moment, just remember to breathe through each one and if you change your mind just press your button right there and I will be here. Right, I'm going to do my rounds, I shall be back shortly to see how you are progressing" I nodded my thanks to the her as she left the room leaving me alone with my mate.

　　As I turned my attention back to Angel, I could see the look of fear as clear as day in her eyes. She genuinely thought something was wrong regardless of the fact the doctor has said otherwise. I climbed onto the bed beside pulling her to my chest. I couldn't do anything to take away her pain though I wished to the goddess I could.

　　Time seemed to pass slowly, Dr Jones came in every now and then to see if Angel had progressed any further but to her dismay she hadn't. Angel had given in and asked for an epidural which for a werewolf was the only suitable option for her pain, anything else her body would have cleared it out immediately. The epidural was hard to watch so I could only imagine what it felt like for Angel. Tears brimmed her eyes as the anethisist messed up pushing the needle into each bump on Angel's spine. Hunter was snarling away as he watched through my eyes at this idiotic man causing his mate pain. My knuckles turning white as I gripped the bed preventing Hunter from taking control, I had to constantly remind him that this man had completed this procedure many times before and put his error down to being nervous as he worked on his Luna. Once in and completed however he calmed down noticing how Angel was more relaxed, her pain easing and no longer breaking our hand with each contraction.

　　Benson, Sid and Ariel had popped in to keep us company and whilst we waited for the pups to make their arrival. It was nice to see how Sid and Ariel were getting along and I only hoped they would complete the mating process soon as I had to restrain Sid at least a dozen times in the last week for other men checking out his mate; though I had to remind him it was bound to happen until she's marked.

　　"Hello Beta" came the voice of a nurse that I hadn't notice enter the room. Bensons eyes not once leaving her enormous chest as the nurse checked over Angel's vitals. Having seen she had Benson's attention she proceeded to bend down lower giving him a better view paying him more attention than her Luna who she hadn't even addressed.

　　"That will be all thank you nurse" I stood from my seat whilst asserting my alpha aura over her. It wasn't something I enjoyed doing however her actions were not acceptable at this time and place.

　　Once she left the room, I smacked Benson up the ear and scolded him for his behaviour reminding him we were here for Angel. After apologising to us Dr. Jones walked in and asked the others to wait outside while she checked over Angel.

　　"Right Luna same position as before please. Ok, I think it's time. You're at ten centimetres so what I want you to do is when you feel the next contraction, I want you to push."

　　Before we knew it Angel was pushing hard but had to keep being reminded to breath as she instinctively held her breath. After what felt like an eternity the almost silent room was filled with that of a crying baby, then ten minutes later our other pup arrived.

　　They were perfect, they had ten fingers and ten toes and my goddess did I mention they were perfect. Angel burst into tears as she held them in her arms her eyes not once leaving their little bodies.

　　"Look what we made" Angel sobbed as she looked at our beautiful pups.

　　"I love you Angel I'm so proud of you. Thank you for making me a father. I will never let you or them down, I promise you" I pulled her into a kiss as tears began to stream down my face. I couldn't give a fuck what the doctor thought as I cried because I was happy, happier than I had ever been and nothing nor anyone was going to ruin it.
