CHAPTER 17 Your Women

  Rhea's POV

The night stretches so fast, sitting in front of my window with a glass of wine in my hands I stared out to the sky.

For some odd feelings, I feel so excited about tomorrow and so eager to see the morning sun. I specifically choose those foods because of one person in my mind, King Daemon.

I was still in my thoughts when the door to my room was suddenly smashed open against the wall, jerking up and turning around to look at the intruder.

My heart flips up fearfully at the man standing in front of me, Kian, my husband. I wonder what could have inflicted him this much.

Kian is fuming furiously, his chest going up and down in anger, causing fear and panic to overwhelm me.

"K... K... i an," the words stammered against my lips.

I swallowed hard as I noticed his face darkened, he stepped forward, taking a few conscious steps toward me.

My grip tightened around the glass of wine in my hand as I tried to remain rooted to my spot. Stopping in front of me he instantly grabbed the glass from my hand forcefully and smashed it at the wall.

"Ohh!" An unexpected scream flew out from my lips. "What... is this all about?"

  "How dare you!"

"How dare me, how, what are you talking about?"

"I warned you the last time that I came here but still, you went ahead to repeat the same mistake today," he scowled, looking displeased but I could only look at him in nothing but confusion.

"Don't pretend as if you don't know what I'm talking about, woman," grabbing hold of my chin roughly, he spits in a dangerous tone.

"I swear, Kian, I have no idea,"

"SHUT UP!!" He growled, his spit splashing on my face. Shutting my eyes instantly at his scary outburst, I felt his sharp claws digging into my flesh.

The last bruises that he left around my cheeks and chin were yet to heal and here he is again hurting me. He knew too well that my healing takes a lot of time since I have not gotten any wolf and yet he doesn't care!

"What did I do this time around," I managed to ask him with difficulty in my voice, his claws deepened as he inched closer to me. Our faces were inches away from each other so I could feel his breath against my cheeks.

Kian is goddamn handsome though not compared to King Daemon. Gosh! I don't think that I have the strength for comparing, especially in this kind of situation and atmosphere.

"I warned you to stay off my women, but still…"

  "Your women," I sound confused.

"Yes, my women! " He yelled, shutting me up, "And you have the right to go against my warnings, having them stay up the night to prepare the food while you stand your ass here sipping your drinks," he lashed out, looking infuriated.

Blinking quickly the pains in my eyes, I stared at him intensely in anger. I could feel the rage flowing through me like lava, molten anger rolling through me as I watched him smolder with resentment.

Anger dangerously loomed around his eyes as his cold gaze pierced into mine.

I wanted to latch out at him but I felt pain gripping me, so all these reactions were because of those fools. So his actions were because of those RASCALS.

"So you bashed into my room just because of your mistresses," I smiled bitterly but the demon just snarled furiously baring his sharp canine in front of me.

"I warned you to keep off from them," he roared, and I instantly shrink back in fear.

The pains in my heart couldn't allow me to keep mute, the words kept rolling out from my wounded heart, "I did nothing to them, they should have told you better,"

He didn't let me finish before a palm of his hands connected with my cheeks.

My neck snapped to the side with such force that you did think that it had broken. Recovering from the shock, I blink back the tears threatening to roll down my cheeks.

Lifting my hands, I trail them around my cheeks. I notice the print of his hands evident in my pink swollen cheeks before my eyes snap at him with so much pain and anger.

"You don't call my women liars," he growled, grabbing me by the neck.

"Ah! I didn't do anything to them, they went against my rules," I yelled out in pain, tears rolling out no matter how much I fought to control them.

"Your rules," he laughed out dangerously before coldly glaring at me, "Which rules can a worthless being like you make, and who gave you the right to make such rules?"

"I gave them instructions but Fiona went against my order," I bit out the words, pains visible in my eyes.

"And you think keeping them up all night was the best thing to do,"

"That's the only way to have them prepare the food and teach them their lessons, no one goes against my rules," I yelled at his face, taking him by surprise.

And before I knew it, I felt another tingling slap across my face, causing my neck to instantly snap to the other side with so much force.

I felt a sharp pain around my neck, coughing I held onto my neck. Bruises were everywhere around my cheeks and neck, and his hand was severely printed on my face.

"You kept them up all night, right?" Stooping to my level, he whispered in a low and dangerous tone before holding me by my hair.

"Ahh!" I screamed, unable to hold back the sharp pains around my scalps. Ignoring my tears, he started dragging me out of the room.
