CHAPTER 67 That's Finally

  Rhea's POV

Days fly by so fast though I stayed up all night thinking about him, that one man that I couldn't resist whenever he was close to me.

The first man that stared deep into my eyes and called me "MINE" The one man that always sounded so vulnerable when around me, despite calling him a psycho... Still, I won't deny the fact that I do enjoy his company and do miss him.

Despite my titles and reputation, my heart craves him. It was as if he was the one for me but I'm married and that's the issue!!

It was hard acting all strong in front of him, all this was not because of anything but just for one thing; my reputation and that of those people looking up at me who are my pack members besides love wasn't my best friend. I don't think all those fantasies are like... Staying up all night and having your prince in charming armor come looking for you or save you, works for me.

Those shits don't work for me and that's why I have decided to invest all my time in the pack affairs, yeah... handling the pack affairs alone is draining and at the same time frustrating but it is better than having an assistant that warms my husband's bed every damn night.

Smiling, I gulped hard and sipped my drink. Since my stay, I don't know what sleeping in my husband's room feels like. There is nothing like a matrimonial bed, it is just a hotel bed, A MOTEL!!!

I heard the rumors, and not only did I hear rumors but I also see how Lila has been warming and satisfying him steadily, especially now that she isn't under me. I don't know if she has any motive or just to get to me but so sad whatever they do this time around no longer affects me. Back are all those days that I will be locked up here, crying my balls out. My only concern is Daemon, though it is wrong but that's my only concern right now.

Hissing, I looked up to the sky, today was the day that I was supposed to go meet Daemon. I promised to see him just to avoid unnecessary drama and also to save my own reputation. I didn't mean to see him today.

My heart yarns to go but sometimes it is better to follow your mind for your mental stability. I gulped down the drink and placed the glass on my side table. Strangely, I haven't seen Kian since our last fall out at the garden the other day.

But why am I so relaxed? Because I know that if it was before I will be so worked up about his way about but right time... At this moment, I feel so unbothered.

Sliding into my hoodie, I walked out of my room straight to the garden. That has been my favorite place since my encounter with Daemon at that very moment. I sat on the bench there, looking into the sky.

"My Luna, your drink," one of the guards placed the drink in front of me with a bow.

"Thank you," I replied. He nodded and left the place. After taking a long sip from the cup, I leaned back, dragging in an uneasy breath with my eyes shut, and started replaying my moments with Daemon in my head.

However, not that long I was suddenly interrupted by Mercy's worried tone, "Here you are, my Luna,"

I creased my brow in confusion and turned to see Mercy standing beside me with her right hand placed over her chest as she tries to catch her breath.

"What's wrong?" I slowly asked her when scanning the whole place to make sure that Daemon is not there because the last time she scrambled toward me like this, he was behind her.

Her heart heaved up and down causing my suspicion to grow wide. Regaining her composure, she let out a deep sigh, "Hmmm... Gamma Wilfred was here,"

I stiffened but noticed the look she was throwing my way, I sighed and strengthened myself, "And..."

"I saw him knocking at your office door, he stood there for a while but when he noticed that you weren't responding... He then decided to relay the message to me," she adds.

"And what's the message all about?" I asked, pretending as if I didn't have a little idea what the massage will be all about.

"He came to remind you about your invite to the Thorn Pack by King Daemon," she said, earning a nod from me. "But..."

I snapped my head at her, "But what?"

"Alpha Kian heard him," she announced, "Kian," I murmured.

  "Yes," she replied.

"So what did he say?" I asked and for some odd reason, I sound so desperate.

"Nothing, before he could say a word, former beta Lila growled, claiming Gamma Wilfred as her mate," my eyes widened in horror as I stared back at Mercy. Lila mated Wilfred... Wow!!!

Shouldn't I feel happy for her but hell no! I feel so pained and broken inside. So after roaming around with mine, she finally has a mate. Well, it's obvious that Wilfred won't reject her because Lycans only have one mate in their whole life.

"Then why are you here?" I raised my brow at her.

"I came to relay the message from gamma Wilfred," she still hadn't finished when I felt someone walk inside the garden. There was this dark aura that came with him and I didn't have to be told twice who he was, "Kian," I mumbled.

He stood in one spot looking at me before he suddenly waved his hands and to my utmost surprise seven guards walked in. I quickly exchanged looks with Mercy not understanding what is going on.

But before I could react, he beat me to it, "Lock her up in her room till further notice,"

My gaze widened in shock, "Kian!" I half yelled, sounding surprised.

"That's finally," he declared, "Now take her away!!"

The guards walked toward me, "Please you have to comply, Luna,"

"No!!" I yelled, "I'm your Luna, don't you dare touch me,"

I yelled at them but still they grabbed hold of me, "KIAN!!!" I screamed loathly with so much hatred as the guards pulled me away.
