Rhea's POV
My gaze widened, and I quickly took a quick look around before snarling at him, "Just stop it," I snapped only to his hearing.
"Hmmm..." He blinks at my words before letting out a small chuckle.
Turning around, he motioned for one of his guards to step forward.
"Move her to the car,"
"Huh!" My eyes went wide. And that makes the crowd erupt in gasps and murmurs.
"She is coming with us and that's final," he said before striding out of the place.
"What the fuck!"
"No," I barked out at him, leaving everyone stunned, including Daemon.
"I respect you, King Daemon, but you can't just come to my pack and instruct me to follow you," I oppose his order.
"Nice to meet you, Luna, but please can we go?" I was still angry when I suddenly heard one of the guards say this to me, but I just hurled a dangerous glare at him, shutting him up.
A frown appeared on my forehead, immediately I noticed Fiona amidst the crowd, as she looked between Daemon and me with confusion.
"I didn't come here for you to accept," his sharp eyes snapped at me before they moved toward his guards, "Take her to the car," the crowd went silent once again under his strong aura.
I can see Mercy from far, worry lines etched all over her face and pity is the last thing I want now. I feel vulnerable but that doesn't mean that he can intimidate me.
I instantly wrenched my hand away from those guards of his, sending them each a warning glare. I know that our continuous bantering isn't going to solve anything but still, I am not ready to shrink out.
"This is my home, King Daemon and please if you want us to discuss anything please you are free to come inside,"
Daemon's face followed this whole thing with a scowl though he didn't say anything but he continued to look at me.
"You heard me, right, I am here to take you home," his voice radiates authority.
"No, I am married to Alpha Kian, and here is my home," I forcefully disagree once again, withholding my words.
And suddenly Daemon's fists started shaking as he tried to reign in his beast as he glowered at me. Waves of anger rush all over him making everyone shift nervously due to the strong aura he is emitting.
I stepped back but I'm married, he can just enter my pack and decide that I follow him, it has never happened or been seen before. Why is everything about me always different?
"I see," composing himself, Daemon suddenly speaks while nodding in understanding. Everyone whipped their heads at him, wanting to know his next move.
His lips stretched out mischievously as he dug his hand inside his pants pocket and his eyes looked at me, "Since it is obvious that you don't want to comply peacefully... I guess I have to do it in violent ways,"
My heart skipped at his words, swallowing hard, I cleared my throat after noticing the malicious grin that had made it toward his lips giving him a look of a devil.
"No, I can't leave my husband and pack and follow you, King Daemon," I barely said two words when his cold eyes fell on me, causing me to swallow the rest of the words.
His eyebrow dropped, displeased, "Don't make it harder, Rhea," walking up, he suddenly pulled me toward him and the next thing I noticed was my legs hanging above the ground and my body tossed all over a strong muscular body.
"Just let me down," I yelled at him, he didn't say a word and continued where he was going.
This is so shameful, how on earth can he carry me on his shoulder in front of the whole crowd? This is ridiculous. But Darmon doesn't even seem bothered by the stares but rather, he looks bored.
As I was carried out of the place, my gaze locked with that of Mercy once again. She looks scared as she watches me leave, though she nods encouragingly at me.
Pity! That's definitely not what I wanted right now.
Kian is not here, how will he react if he finds out what happened? Though I doubt that he will care because wanting me out of his life has always been his dream. No matter how hard I try to act... I am not a stick, it hurts knowing that I got married and mated to an asshole.
I can hear people murmuring among themselves as their minds were clouded with confusion on what's going on.
However, their voices suddenly died down as we made our way toward their midst. They all cleared their paths for us to pass through but I can still feel their curious eyes on us, mostly me, since I am tossed all over Daemon's shoulder despite being married to their Alpha.
Reaching his car, he pulled the door open and placed me at the back before he slid inside beside me.
Shouldn't I be squealing in excitement having his natural muscular scent wafts into my nose hell no, rather I feel dazed and lost at the turn of events.
"Go," he ordered the man in the driver's seat, who nodded and ignited the car before driving away.
If I didn't climb out of my room, I am damn sure that I wouldn't be here now... I feel restless within like there is a heavy storm around the corner.
