Sheila's POV
I was stunned, shocked, or should I say disoriented... Like what on earth just happened right now.
Daemon addressed Rhea, that fool, as his mate in my presence. Like he admits that she was his, did she break up with Kian? Why is she here and does Kian know about this?
My mind is running around in chaos as I watch them striding away to the other side that I am damn sure leads to the dining room.
Fuck!
This is damn messed up, I am sure that my mind's playing tricks on me. I thought that Kian said that she doesn't have a wolf so tell me how she was able to oblige to Daemon's word by stepping out as the supposed mate?
How did she then know that she is mated to Daemon without a wolf? This is totally messed up!
I rushed toward my room, "Miss, I was waiting for you so that I will clean up your room," I pushed the omega away and kicked open my room forcefully, knocking the padlock off its hinges. I went straight to my side drawer and grabbed my car keys.
"Miss, can I start the..."
"Get the fuck out of my way!!" I yelled, pushing her damn hard this time around before walking down the stairs to the carport. I hurried toward my car, igniting the engine, and I drove out.
The drive was fast and only took me six hours before I finally arrived at Blackwood Pack. I place my palms in the middle of my steering, honking hard for the warriors to open up their gates.
Immediately, the gate was pulled open, I forcefully drove inside scaring the warriors away. They tried blocking my path, I didn't blame them, they were just doing their duties but how dare they obstruct my way? A Lycan!
If not for that I had an important thing to sort out, I could have parked my car and dealt with them mercilessly. To avoid long talk, I slid down the driver's window indicating my presence though I never stopped the car for one bit. On seeing me, they bowed and nodded for each other to clear the way.
I drive in, stopping my car in front of the packhouse before rushing out. Fasten my pace as I stride toward Kian's office. Reaching his office, his guards tried stopping me from entering without informing him first but under my Lycan aura they instantly stepped away creating a path for me to walk in.
Pushing the door hard against the wall, I stride in. My face hardened and my eyes turned frosty at the man sitting graciously behind the office desk. "You came," he lifted his head from the file in front of him to stare at me, "But I wasn't expecting you," he blurted, his voice showing how displeased he is to see me here.
"And I believe that I don't need a damn weak creature's permission in order to be here," I slurred, standing in front of his desk with my arms folded.
His eyebrow arched up, "What do you mean?"
"Where is your wife?" He opened his mouth to talk but instantly shut them up, stammering, he later slumped his shoulders in defeat while puffing out a tiring breath. "I have no idea,"
"Hmm... really?" I stressed the word in a mockery tone.
"She has left," he confessed, "Fine, but before you start shouting," he raised his eyes to look at me, "I am working on everything to bring her back,"
Looking at him, I burst into a cold laugh, "This is not funny," he clasped, earning a sharp gaze.
"Not funny but you let another man take your wife under your watch and you sat right there to educate me on what's funny and not," I barked out, sounding overly pissed off.
Kian roughly rubs on his temple, "You think that I was around when he came here," he yelled, snapping at me.
I mimicked the look on his face, returning him the same energy, "Even if you're here, you still won't do any shit!"
"I was fucking out there with you," Kian furrowed his eyebrow, annoyed... A flash of rage stalked in his black eyes.
"Don't you dare!!" Leaning forward, my fists pounding on the desk, meeting his eyes. "Don't lay those blames on me, we both know that a maggot like you has no match for a full-blooded Lycan,"
Silence stretched through the room before I instantly spoke up, "You can't leave your wife there, sleeping in the same room and on the same bed with another man," he instantly swung his head in my direction at the last statement, and I shook my head in return.
I can detect the anger looming around those black eyes of his, "And besides I thought that you told me that Rhea doesn't have a wolf,"
"Sh... She doesn't have a wolf,"
"Then how was she able to accept the fact that she was Daemon's mate?" His gaze widened in shock.
"What nonsense are you talking about?" He asked desperately, looking startled.
Smirking, I strengthened myself and stared at him, maintaining his eye contact. "I need her ass out of that place and you..." smiling brutally I resumed, "You have to do anything in your power and drag her out there because if I should interfere, it will be bloody," I threatened, unable to keep my frustration and rage at bay.
"But what do you mean by her wolf?"
"We will see," was all I could mutter before walking out of the room. I heard his outrageous growl but I brushed it off and ambled away.
