Chapter 92 Not Your Mate

  Sheila's POV

I sneaked out from the pack, making sure that the guards on duty didn't notice my presence. I head toward the Blackwood Pack. I believe that Kian has some explanation to give.

Reaching the pack I climbed out of the car and started walking toward his office when I suddenly realized that I was being followed.

I clutched a handful of my dress, feeling the presence around the hallway... The spy! I smiled and instantly spun around, my eyes snapping across the hallway.

  Who are you?

I scanned the hallway that leads to Kian's office. There was not a single soul except the guards that were standing at the other far end of the hallway almost in front of Kian's office.

I knew that I saw someone, I sighed and proceeded to where I was going. I can still feel the presence trailing beside me. I stopped and immediately swirled around but to my surprise, there was no one behind me.

"Hey! Stop hiding and come out," I said in a tone that I am sure can send chills to the bone, my voice echoed in the hallway but still no presence was seen.

I scanned the hallway again, turning around and I walked inside his office slamming the door damn hard.

"Mycheww," he let out a sigh, "Why are you here?"

"Not happy to see me," I walked toward him and plopped on the couch, "Not happy to be here as well,"

"Why are you here?" He asked again, gritting his teeth. "Your constant visitation is going to raise suspicious brows,"

"I thought that dark magic ended years back but little did I know that it was still in existence and I believed that you know the consequences of using one or getting yourself involved in one," his eyes widened in shock before he blinked them acting as if he had no idea what I was talking about.

  "What are you talking about?"

"The mark on her neck," he raised his brow at my words, "How was it formed?"

He gaped at me, I guess stunned for a while before clearing his throat, "She is my wife is bound to have my mark on her,"

  "But not your mate,"

"Not like it is any of your business," he snapped but I instantly hurled him a dangerous glare.

  "Can you just please.."

" You are too relaxed knowing that she will die once she gets marked by Daemon with her recognizing as hers," I cut him off, I can see the surprised look he was throwing my way.

Surely he wasn't expecting this whole information, "What... What are you talking about?" He stammered.

"Who is the witch?" He c***k his eyebrow at me, "How did you find out?"

"Why is it that you are not smart, Kian?"

"How did you find out about this whole thing?" He leaned forward, his forehead deepened in confusion.

"You know the consequences if they find out that you practice dark magic here or that you're harboring the person in your pack?" Fear flashes through his eyes.

"Daemon shouldn't find out," he quickly let out the words, my cold eyes trailing back at him from head to toe before I let out a cold laugh.

"Do you think that he is that dumb?"

"He can't know if you won't tell him and besides how did you know?"

"Him," I bark out the one syllable coldly.

His eyebrow squinted at me, "Him... what do you mean?"

"You heard me well, Kian!" I snapped, "He knows about the magic and everything that happens in here,"

"There is absolutely no way!" He yelled, fear stalked in his eyes as he stood up knocking down the chair in the process. "That's not possible,"

"You don't expect him to neglect the mark on that b*tch neck," I slurred, earning a loud growl from him.

  "Don't call her names!"

"Ex..." I blink my eyes almost speechless, "Excuse me Kian, is not like you like her,"

"Whether I like her or not it is not in your place to decide or to call her names," he snapped harshly.

My jaw clenched in anger as I stood up and stepped forward, "You know that I am still keeping you alive for a reason, moron,"

"We both need each other's help, so relax and pull your pride away," I growl at his words. "How dare you wolf?!" I barked out, my fangs slowly coming out

"Don't you want Daemon?" I stopped at his word, sighing I retract back my fangs.

"Daemon knows that you are using that magic and he is looking for concrete evidence," I suddenly announced with my back to him.

"He can't find that evidence," I smiled victoriously, making me turn around and face him.

My face colored in anger as I stared at him hazardously, "He has a spy here inside your pack,"

  "A spy," he half screamed.

"Oh!" I hushed him, "Sam's mate,"
