Sheila's POV
"If I had the idea I shouldn't be here talking... I should be out there terminating that pregnancy!" He yelled, matching my energy.
"Then do it," I flashed him my mischievous smirk.
"Who is it?"
"Lila," I let out the bomb. His gaze widened in shock, "She is... She is Gamma Wilfred's mate,"
"I don't care,"
"I mean it has been a month since we had sex, so it might be pregnant for him and not me,"
"It has barely reached three weeks that they met but she is a month and two weeks pregnant... The baby in the womb is yours," his face darkened at my words.
"Things can't get complicated right now," he murmured.
"You have two days to take the baby out of the picture,"
"Is... an Alpha blood,"
"I don't care!" I clapped back, "Get your wife pregnant," I stated.
"Look, this is complicated... Her mate is a Lycan and besides...
" I never picture you as a coward so better don't act like one definitely not now," I snarled, anger rolling off me.
"Time is stripping out from us," he turned to face me, "Then what do we do?" He asked.
"Clean up your mess," I glared at him. "I see what you are doing, suffering the pack members to drive their attention to you... Rhea and to fish out that spy, Sam's mate,"
He didn't say anything and I think he is still pondering his mind on the news. "There is nothing you think, Kian," I stepped forward and held him by the shoulder.
"Just terminate the pregnancy," he tilted his head to stare down at me.
Smiling I backed away from him, "I will take care of the rest... Is time to step up the game,"
Striding out from the Blackwood Pack I noticed the omega was staring at me. I can feel her eyes on me but if I turn around she will quickly pull her gaze away from me.
But when I look away she continues, from the side view since it was hard getting a full view of her face side she kept looking away anytime our eyes seemed to connect. She looks fragile and like an omega.
Shaking my head, I had a lot on my mind so I didn't allow that suspicious attitude of hers to bother me. After she is just an ordinary omega though I still wonder what an omega will be doing standing alongside the hallway that leads to her Alpha's office. She has no pail of water or mob so I could boldly admit that she is doing some cleaning.
I sighed and looked away, not allowing his sloppy attitude to get to me... Anyway, I don't know how they behave here.
I felt her gaze on me till I left the premises back to my car, fastening my seat belt I let out a breath... that look of hers was creepy that I almost shrink out.
Inserting the key into the ignitor I started the car and drove back to Thorn's pack.
I walked out of my car and started heading back to my room when suddenly I picked up a familiar scent.
As much as I am irritated by the scent, I still needed to strike in, especially now that she is walking alone and not with Daemon.
"Hi, Luna Rhea," she stopped surprised to hear me call her, especially addressing her by her title.
"Sheila," she replied.
"Good afternoon to you too," I smiled, eyeing her up and down.
"I didn't remember telling you good afternoon," she said dryly and proceeded to where she was going but I instantly stopped her.
"You're not looking that bad though," she ignored and kept walking away.
"I heard about the news," I spoke up, causing her to stop in her tracks.
"You didn't deserve that treatment," I watched her turn to face me, she had her gaze narrowed at me I guess surprised to hear that from me.
"Yes, I know that we never get along but hearing the news was heartbroken... no one deserves to be treated like that,"
"I never asked for your sympathy, Sheila,"
Clearly not getting what I want I almost snapped at her but I held myself back, I need to do anything and have her out of this place. The moonlight festival is in two days and here she is parading around like she owns the goddamn place. And as the day draws closer the sleeping wolf inside her will start to wake a bit by bit and that's why I f****g needs her out of this pack.
"I know," I forced out a smile that barely reached my eyes.
"Better," she turned again to leave, "Even if you don't want to see him then what about your pack?"
She stopped and turned again with a confident smirk on her lips, "Feels threatened that I am staying here, huh,"
"Nope," I flash a smile despite the heaviness in my heart, "They need you... They're suffering," her gaze widened in shock.
Seems like she doesn't have an idea of what was going on in there, I think I need to use this opportunity. "What are you talking about?"
"Nobody leaves and enters the pack,"
"Yes, I know," she snapped, I mentally rolled my eyes on her. "And they nearly eat... he is starving and torturing them day in and day out,"
She went quiet for a while but I stood there waiting for her next response so that I could dive in, "Kian can never do that... Where did you hear that from?"
"Trusting a man that has no good intentions for you,"
"I didn't tell you that I trust anyone but I am sure not like this happened,"
"Then have you ever asked yourself why he suddenly stopped the movement in and out of his pack?" I c***k a brow at her, watching her mind wander around in thoughts.
"This can't be," I heard her murmuring.
"It can be, and besides the news is everywhere... They need you," I retort, giving me a long look she snapped, "Coming from a person like you that doesn't like my existence,"
"I didn't need to like your existence before telling you the truth," I almost yelled in her face but I instantly held myself from exploding. She seems like a stubborn one.
"I know the problem is how you're going to leave here,"
My jaw clenched as I watched her turn around and started walking away, holding back the urge to glare at her. I forcefully kept a soft face before saying the word that had her stopped instantly. "I will help you escape..."
