Rhea's POV
We all screamed the last word and instantly transformed into our wolves rushing toward the rogues, the fight began and howls and cries were heard.
Despite being just five our fighting skills are impressive though we can never outnumber them, the more we kill the more another set of rogues crawl out from the trees around there.
I jumped on the nearest rogue beside me and quickly pulled out his heart while biting off the other rogue with my sharp teeth. The fight lasted for a while and nobody from the pack arrived.
My warriors are getting weak, I watched in horror as the rogues were pulling out their hearts and killing them all in that spot.
It was just the remaining two and they rushed to my side, "What should we do? These rogues are much,"
I gulped when looking at the other rogues, despite having killed some but those remaining were still much.
"Not giving up," I said to them as we all rushed back to the fight. The warriors are already tired and it wasn't that long and one of them was killed instantly.
Anger filled me and I started fighting fiercely, one of the rogues rushed toward me. Dodging him and sinking my nails inside his chest, I pulled it out and he fell helplessly dead on the ground.
I was targeting some group of rogues without the notice that one was behind me. Immediately he tried to sneak his claws inside my neck. I heard the other remaining warrior scream and rushed toward me, "Luna Rhea!"
He pushed me and the sharp claws pierced into his heart killing him instantly. I growled as his lifeless body fell to the ground. I used all my strength to skillfully dodge a hit from one of the rogues while angrily continuing my fight against them not being ready to back down.
I moved my left paw back and lowered myself down a little, settling myself up for a counterattack. I glared at the rogues, raw hatred and anger were flashing across my beautiful eyes.
I have succeeded in killing a lot of them but many were still alive, I'm outnumbered and I am already getting weak. My body is already giving up.
Summoning courage again, I screamed while rushing toward them. They have injured me though... They have already injured my back and face with their claws, I growled at the rogues who were looking at me with rage, anxious to attack me.
One of the rogues raises his claws toward me, using the remaining strength in me I was able to dodge it and slid down but another rogue managed to use that opportunity and dug his nail deep behind me at my back.
I groaned and flinched back at the sharp pain, "What are you doing?" I staggered back and fell to the ground where I recoiled myself feeling the pain all over me.
The blood is furiously rolling out from my body, I am weak and already tired. I didn't want to give up but I was already tired. I stood waiting for the worst. I knew it when I said that my life was messed up, now that I have started to enjoy my life it was going to be cut shut.
I watched as one of the rogues rushes to tear me apart but suddenly a familiar voice came from behind, "Let her live,"
My heart throbbed hard, I spun around and my eyes widened in shock at the person, "Ki...an," I stammered.
"Nice to see you again, wife,"
Daemon's POV
Immediately I got the signal from my warriors that Rhea and the guards that went out when her are under attack by the rogues I felt my heart sinking down to my stomach.
I warned her to go there with a group of warriors but her stubborn self refused saying that she would be fine.
I don't think that this is the time to start laying the blame on anyone. I quickly ran out of my office with Sam and of course Wilfred. We all with the warriors entered inside a vehicle and sped out.
I heard that you are outnumbered, fuck...! What is Rhea going to do?
I instantly told the driver to stop the car immediately after I saw dead bodies on the road. I can no longer hear any sound showing that the fight has already ended.
Where is Rhea?
My whole body was filled with fear, I strode forward checking out the faces of the lifeless creatures on the ground. Sam and others joined me and we started checking their faces looking for Rhea. I could say that they did a great job, a lot of rogues are lying down here dead.
Looking around all I can see is blood and dead bodies, I am about to look away when I notice a bracelet on the ground. I inched close and picked it up, "It is Rhea's bracelet," I mumbled when staring down at the bracelet.
Had I known I shouldn't have sent her out just with four warriors, what was I thinking? I could have escorted her, only I would have been able to protect her.
"Hey! King Daemon,"
"Hey bro,"
I tilted my head to where others were calling me, "We found something,"
I rushed toward the place, "Find out," my voice was quick.
I followed the direction of their eyes and stopped at the man covered in his own pool of blood.
"What is happening," I snapped to no one in particular.
"He is still alive," Wilfred points out. My eyes flew open on that, I immediately leaned to his level and slowly pull him up. It is one of my warriors though, "Kin….g Dea... mon," he spat out blood.
"Where is Luna Rhea?" I went straight to the point, not having the time to start beating around the bush because he seems like someone that will soon die.
He smiled and held onto my shoulder as he struggled to speak, "I... said that... I won't die till...
He coughed out blood, his grip on me tightened, " Till... I see someone that... save... Luna Rhea,"
"Where is she?" My heart throbs hard as I anticipate the answer to my question. So that means that she might still be alive somewhere. "Where is she?" I asked him again.
