CHAPTER 112 My Stubborn Mate

  Rhea's POV

"The death of your parents," I retort, unsure of what I just heard.

"Yes, who doesn't know the enmity between Clawson pack and Blackwood Pack? And your father killed my parents after getting into a fight with him," he narrated, smirking deadly at me. "I planned to make you pay tenfold for the pains I went through all these years but unfortunately I fall for you,"

I shook my head at him, and for once after the months tears slid down my face. I can't believe that I have lived all my life back then loving this monster!

The fight was between the two dead parents, what does it have to do with me and besides something must have triggered my father into killing his father.

He instantly yank my head by the side, "He still hasn't marked her," he said. "So we still have a chance,"

  "So what next?" He asked.

"You decided, either you kill her or eloped with her," he nodded at her and turned to look at me.

"I will prefer to end us," I lift my head to look at him. "I will kill the both of us because eloping with her is risky out there... I will kill her since I can't have her no one will do,"

My eyes widened in shock at him, Sheila smiled and pulled out a pistol from her bag, and handed it over to him.

"Do the needful," she whispered, "Bye little one, she flashes me one of her malicious smiles.

A lone tear slid down my face, my heart calling out for Daemon. As Kian pulled up the pistol and positioned it in my face, I shut my eyes anticipating the worst but instead, we all heard a loud growl of annoyance behind us.

  We all froze.

I whipped my head to where the loud growl emanated from, it came from the entrance of the cave, and a very looking angry Daemon hurried to us. My eyes drifted back to Kian, his gaze was on Daemon as well, showing no emotions.

"I thought you went on a vacation so tell me what the hell are you doing here?" Daemon said to Sheila, barely in a low tone. His eyes narrowed distastefully on her as she tried to make a move on him.

"So my mate has been right all this while," Sam blurted out.

"Hey man, pull that pistol down!!" Sam shouted, anger stalking in his oval face. Kian smiled and stepped beside me placing the pistol straight to my head, "One more move and I will end her," he threatened.

"Man pull that thing down!!" Daemon growled, seeing his hand almost reaching the trigger. I stared around in fear, Wilfred was nowhere to be seen, maybe he didn't come with them.

I gulped hard as Kian pulled my hair placing the pistol on my forehead, "If I can't then you can't," Daemon's colored in rage.

My eyes burned as I noticed Sheila tried trailing her finger at Daemon who had his attention focused on Kian and I. Eleanor growls and I can feel a wave of anger soughing down my body like a burning flame.

I growled loudly, a new wave of strength seeping through me. Curling my fists in anger, the chain pieces into tiny shreds. Willow's strength is back! The forcefulness of the strength pushes Kian who was standing beside me away, flat to the ground.

Every eye turned to stare at me confusedly, Daemon had a proud smile on his lips and his men saw the distraction and decided to use the opportunity to dive in. Air breaks loose as the fight begins.

I watched Kian rush, dodging the hit from Sam as he lugged for the pistol. Sheila rushed toward me, anxious to attack.

The fighting was getting heated when suddenly Kian clicked on the trigger, releasing the bullet in my direction.

Everything and everyone seemed to be in slow motion, Daemon's eyes widened in fear as the bullet rushed toward my direction. Everything seemed to stop working around me, the bullet was almost close to me. I closed my eyes expecting the worst when suddenly I felt myself pushed to the ground in the swift of a hand. The bullet then hit the wooden drums there, pieces and the first splashes on my face.

I slowly looked up to see Wilfred on top of me, holding me steady... He just saved me!

  "Wilfred," I gasped.

"Nice to meet you dear, Luna Rhea," he winked, standing instantly as he joined the fight.

I was still stuck in my thoughts when suddenly the painful cry of Kian echoed in the room. You can never compare the speed of a Lycan to an ordinary werewolf. I watched in horror as Daemon sank his claws into his heart, twisting his hand, he forcefully pulled out his heart, and Kian fell to the ground dead.

My face crushed in disgust as Daemon angrily squeezed the heart in his hand, the blood splashing on his face. I was still looking when I felt a sharp pain behind me. "Ahhh!" I cried out as I felt an open wound behind me.

Turning around I was instantly met by Sheila, she is a Lycan so her speed was top-notched. She has her hands out and her long claws have my blood tingling out from them.

She down at me a deadly smirk making it to her lips, "I have to kill you after all,"

She rushed toward me, I was already weak with the constant wolfsbane injected into my body, and the silver chains that I was earlier trapped in weighed me down. Gathering the remaining strength in me I started fighting again.

Yes, I am weak so defense and counterattack were the only tactics that I could use to win against her.

She stretches her hand forward, slowly I dodge it though her claws were almost close to my face. She quickly kicked me and I fell to the ground. Trying to jump on me I quickly dodged and moved away causing her to bounce on the empty ground.

Standing up, I tried to use the opportunity and end her but she quickly kicked me hard on the limp causing me to hit my head beside the rock there.

I groaned and swirled around in pain. She smirked, stepping forward but was instantly blocked by Sam. She growled but Sam stretched his aura in the place making her a bit weak.

She screamed painfully, her men were taking down faster than she had expected. She tries to step forward but she instantly froze on her spot as Daemon pierced his claws deep inside her from behind her back. He twisted his hand inside her, and I watched as her face colored in pain.

Tugging her heart out, she slowly fell to the ground dead. Just like before he squeezed the heart causing it to burst out, the blood splashing on his face.

He looked murderous and scary. His gaze fell on me and his hardened face softened, there was silence in the place. Her men are all taking care of... They are all dead.

"Ah!" I groaned in pain, my head hurt and just then Daemon scrambled toward me and pulled me to himself.

I noticed Sam and Wilfred ordering the warriors what to do with the dead bodies.

"My stubborn mate," he coaxes me, I smiled and leaned into his touch. A tiny frost fell from the sky as he bent and kissed my forehead.

The peace that I have sought for years is now with me. I feel so blessed to cross paths with you, Darmon.

Just like the saying; a mate is a glue that can join your pieces together... Truly my broken heart was mended.
