　　"Did the mission go as planned?" I asked, my eyes fixed intently on the guard. I was worried and anxious, and I couldn't hide it.

　　I had been waiting for what felt like an eternity for the guards to return, and I needed to know that everything had gone smoothly.

　　"Yes, my lord," the guard replied, his voice firm and respectful.

　　"We carried out your orders exactly as you gave them, and Alaric's men were terrified by our presence" ...
