　　Walking up the staircase, I still felt the twinges of pain from the previous attack, but I knew I was getting better. My injuries were healing nicely, and I felt stronger every day. I figured some part of that was thanks to Travis, perhaps he was influencing the speed of my healing by being around me. Or that's what I told myself, anyway.
