Jason's POV
It wasn't long before we done eating; I had learnt a lot in the time it took for us to finish our food, and I didn't want the afternoon to end just yet; Archer and I wanted to know everything about Abbi and leave no stone unturned, but we knew that was impossible in one day. Thinking on my feet as I paid the bill thanking the staff, I held the door open for Abbi, following her out with Lizzy on my shoulders; thankfully, she had forgotten about meeting my 'furry friend'.
"Do you know the town well?" I asked, tickling Lizzy's feet as she played with my hair.
"I arrived a few days ago, and honestly, I would still be on the bench by the water fountain or in Alice's house of torture if it wasn't for Damien." She answered, pulling her hair up into a bun; the second she stepped outside, the heat unquestionably getting to her, given her flushed skin. I walked behind her, distracting myself from the mention of her male friend by admiring the slender creamy flesh of her neck, thankful not to see a mate's mark on her skin.
"Just because she doesn't have a mark doesn't mean she's not spoken for; she's not a wolf!" Archer announced grumpily, both our moods changing quickly.
Seeing her look over her shoulder at me, the left side of her lip twitching, her eyes sparkled greener somehow, with gold glimmers hiding amongst the green. And those eyes were watching my features; realisation hit me like a slap to the face. Every time Archer and I conversed, she would give me that exact look that she was giving me now!
Did she know when I was talking to Archer?
"Can she hear us, buddy?" I asked, trying to act cool and keep the concern from my face.
"She is not a wolf or part of our pack; I doubt it! But I don't know, test it!" Archer shifted to look through my eyes.
"How do I test it?" I asked, confused at how exactly he expected me to do that!
"I got this!" Archer's devilish smirk caught me off guard. The nerves eating at my gut, I wondered what exactly his plan was.
"Archer, you gonna fill me in, bud?" I asked. The smirk that swept over his face didn't do much to calm the nervousness that gnawed at me. Curiosity ate at me when nothing seemed to happen, but I am not sure anything could have prepared me for the images he played in my head:
Abigail in my bedroom, her beautiful red hair cascading over her shoulder in those beautiful red waves. She had a sultry smile on her beautiful plump lips, those gorgeous green orbs locked on mine as she lowered onto her knees in front of me. Her long slender fingers, I had seen push that luscious red hair from her face yesterday, reached for the belt on my jeans, confidently making quick work of my belt and zipper.
Her graceful fingers released my thick length; the thrill that rushed through me at her gentle touch alone had me groaning, biting her bottom lip seductively as she stared at my member hungrily. Unable to refrain from touching her silken locks, my hands wound into her sea of red hair, gripping it tightly, tilting her head back to see those luscious green eyes that mesmerised me.
Running my thumb over her plump pink lips and pushing them apart. Leaning closer with my hips and pushing my hard cock deep passed her sweet lip into her mouth, our eyes never lost contact as I pushed her head further down my length until it hit the back of her throat.
"Fuck Archer!" Shifting uncomfortably, my tight jeans did nothing to hide the first stirring of an erection. I groaned, swallowing hard, closing my eyes and repressing the earthy groan that needed to be released.
"At least she knows why you look so tired today with all those images going through your head last night!" Archer brooded.
"Pardon?" I asked, flustered, seeing her eyes narrow on me.
"Because of all Alice's China dolls! It's not actually a secret torture house." She added, her cheeks red from embarrassment, clearly confused by my silence, not from diving into the gutter that was my mind.
"Nope, she's not in our head. I reckon she'd have slapped you seeing those images; she's fiery! Which is why I like her." Archer chuckled into my mind. "Hey, do you want me to keep these images going?" He continued wiggling his brows.
"I have a child on my shoulders; want me to drop her because I can't focus." I declared.
"We have quick reflexes. She'd be fine." Archer grumbled, unimpressed at my request to stop.
"NO", I barked, returning my attention to Ab's and Lizzy talking about pet shops.
"So, if you're new to town, shall I show you where the best pet shops are? We have a few, but one is better; they even have a mini petting zoo." I explained, looking up at Lizzy on my shoulders.
"Yesssss", She squealed, clapping her hands delightedly. Panic spread through her face as she wobbled backwards on my shoulders, Abigail was at my side in seconds, leaning up to me on her tippy-toes, her hand under Lizzy's elbow to steady her and the other pressed against my chest as she supported the tiny terror.
"We aren't the only ones with great reflexes." I acknowledged. Archer busy purring at her touch.
Looking between Lizzy and Abbi, I realised just how close to me she was; I could smell her beautiful scent of vanilla and coconut. Her lips close enough to claim in a hungry kiss, seeming to guess what I was thinking, she nodded to Lizzy, who was laughing uncontrollably.
"Perhaps she's better with two feet on the floor, hmm." The coy smile that followed her words assured me she was not annoyed that I had not been paying attention and nearly dropped her charge for the day.
"Yeah, come on, Lizzy, let's make room for second lunch by walking off first lunch; Abbi will be hungry again in an hour; she only had rabbit food for lunch, what do you say?" I teased with a wink towards Abbi, who discreetly flipped me off with a roll of her eyes.
A deep throaty growl slipped past my lips, making both girls jump slightly. I knew Archer was present in my eyes, watching her, warning her. He liked her disobedience and playful side, but only because he wanted to be the one to tame her. And her rolling those beautiful, mysterious eyes at us was an invitation to do just that.
