　　"Are you planning on staying?" Evelyn asked me, her mouth twisting as she glanced at me. Studying me as though I were something she stood in.

　　"For tonight at least," I replied with a friendly smile "Just until I can decide what to do," 

　　I caught my Stepmother rolling her eyes at my answer, it was clear she didn't want me there and it was probably my Fathers idea to invite me.
