CHAPTER 100 You Need to Relax

  Ares POV

"Do you honestly believe I would shed tears?" She inquired, her smile radiating warmth. "I enjoy being called evil if you can't acknowledge me as your anger..." she stammered, my hand clenched in frustration.

"I can't afford to waste my time on you," I mutter through clenched teeth. "I'll search for her myself," I said, turning away from her.

"She left," she stated. I froze in place, refusing to budge, not even bothering to look in her direction.

Her laughter fills the air, echoing with joy. "She was present earlier. She's aware of my presence, and her intentions were clear... she paused dramatically, "However, she declared her departure from this group, vowing to return and seek vengeance against those who have wronged her-"

"Absolutely not. I find it hard to believe what you're saying." I turned to face her, my voice raised as I shook my head.

She inhaled deeply. "I get it," she murmured. "However, it's important to gain an understanding of her perspective as well. Do you honestly believe she'll take you back once she discovers that we were intimate and you enjoyed it? And you told her that you only get with me to protect her but you enjoy fucking me-"

"Shut the fuck up!" I exclaimed, I could sense the repulsion coursing through my veins. I'd prefer it if she didn't mention what transpired between us.

Her laughter came only after. "I will continue to share the truth with you, even if you are unwilling to release me."

You know that I will absolutely-" I let out a piercing cry and struck the cellar with force, causing her to recoil. The look of shock and fear in her eyes brought me a sense of satisfaction.

"Fuck you," I said. "Do you believe I cannot end your life?" I added, I ran my fingers through my hair and let out a deep sigh as I turned away from her.

"Where on earth do you think you're headed!?" she shouted once more.

"I will locate her," I responded with little enthusiasm.

"Guess what? She's returned to Bathel!" I couldn't help but shake my head as she once again spoke in such an unsettling manner.

"I can assist you in reclaiming her..." she pleaded with desperation. "I am well aware of her meticulously crafted strategies!" I shifted my gaze back towards her once more.

"I would rather immerse myself in sorrow than accept assistance from someone like you."

I searched through the entire pack, but she was nowhere to be found. A sense of fear gripped my heart. I can't help but wonder if she's already left...

And the thoughts about it filled me with fear.

I venture into the enchanting woods.

"You need to relax, Ares. You seem to be under the influence, and it appears that she may have departed for something of great significance." The intensity of Blaze's presence brought a sense of calm to my inner being, yet I couldn't help but notice the underlying worry that consumed him.

I found myself shaking my head in response. "Imagine if something were to happen to her." Tears streamed down my face as I continued my patrol through the dense woods. Suddenly, a gentle hand landed on my back, causing me to halt in my tracks.

I felt no fear in my heart. I spun around and caught sight of Dana. I can now sense the pulsation of my heart. It's as if I've been resurrected from the depths of despair.

"Dana..." I whispered, unsure if she could perceive the joy resonating in my voice. "I thought you had departed," My voice trembles as I draw her closer to me, wrapping my arms around her despite her stillness.

"I was terrified..." I whispered, "Where have you been." I closed my eyes, tears streaming down my face, and held her tightly in my arms, never wanting to release her.

I can hear her voice whispering, "Ares." I ceased embracing her.

"I apologize," I run my fingers through my hair. "I didn't mean to be so weird towards you-" My words are abruptly halted as she seizes my hand and presses her lips against mine.

I was taken aback, my eyes widening in disbelief. There is a sense of reconnection as if previously broken bonds have been restored. I gently caressed her waist and eagerly seized every chance to press my lips against hers. I can sense the gentle touch of her lips against mine, yet at the same time, a sharp sensation pierces my stomach.

I let out a groan of frustration, but I continued without hesitation, and she eventually relented, allowing me to continue kissing her. I gently pressed my lips against her neck, feeling a growing ache in the pit of my stomach.

"Fuck, you have such an enticing scent," I exclaimed as I felt her surprise, but she gently pulled me back and gradually distanced herself.

She grasped an object and now wields a sharp blade. There is blood on the knife.

"Oh no, you're bleeding!" A burst of Blaze's adrenaline erupted within me.

I gaze down at my stomach, a sudden realization washing over me - Dana has stabbed me.

"Do you like it?" she asked, with a smile that seemed to taunt me, but I've reached a point where I no longer care.

I drew her closer to my wounded abdomen, a smile gracing my lips. I pulled her lips to mine, savoring the moment. "I like it,"
