CHAPTER 114 Then Claim Me

  Dana

"I, Dana Toussaint, forgive you for everything, Ares Zander Hendrix, and I want you to be in my life again," I declared, feeling the weight of my words in the stillness of the forest. With each beat of his heart, I sensed a shift within me, a connection deeper than anything I had felt before-a bond that transcended mere words. My wolf, too, recognized something distinct about him-a feeling unlike anything I had experienced with Bathel.

He pressed me against the tree, his grip firm yet gentle as he pinned my hands above my head. "I want you to be mine forever, Dana," he breathed, his voice filled with urgency and longing. "I don't want to waste another moment. I want you to be mine, and only mine, to never think about anyone else." His lips met mine in a passionate kiss, igniting a fire within me that burned with a fierce intensity.

"Then claim me," I commanded, my voice laced with confidence and desire.

"I claim you," he declared with unwavering determination. "You own me," he added, sealing our bond with a promise that echoed through the depths of the forest.

"I don't care what anyone thinks about our relationship. You will be my Luna, and no one can stop me. Whoever dares to interfere-" Ares began, his voice firm with determination.

"You don't need to tell me that because I couldn't care less about them," I interjected with a playful taunt. "Who cares? They'll still have to respect me, regardless," I added defiantly, punctuating my words with a sweet kiss to his lips. He responded with slow, tender kisses.

"I love that about you," he whispered, his words mingling with mine as our lips met in a passionate embrace.

With our eyes closed, I sucked on his lips, savoring the familiar taste of him. My hand rested on his shoulder, drawing him closer as I kissed him deeply, pouring all the longing and desire I had kept hidden into the kiss.

"I miss kissing you like this." he said. It was as if he could read my thoughts.

By saying, "Kiss me..." I let out a laugh.

  "Ew, mom and dad!"

For the record, it has been five years, and the only difference is that we are currently kissing on the couch, and our child has just arrived and expressed their displeasure.

While I was laughing, Ares gave our daughter a kiss on the forehead and hoisted her up. "You're just like Dana's little version." As he continues to kiss her, she laughs out loud.

I couldn't help but smile as she playedfully yelled out, "Dad, put me down!"

After a period of five years, everything has had a shift. I did, in fact, become Ares' Luna. On top of that, I was not genuinely disrespected by anyone. From the moment I became his mate, they accepted me, and I was able to establish a positive relationship with both the beta and the gamma members of this pack.

Evrelyn Dione Hendrix is the name we gave to our kid, and Anna is the aunt who is closest to her.

"Dad, I can play with my friends?" When she asked him, I couldn't help but smile as I watched them interact with each other.

"Sure, but go ask momma too." While he was putting her down, Ares reacted.

Dione hugged my knees tightly, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "Mom, can I play with my friends?" she asked eagerly.

I knelt down to her level and planted a gentle kiss on her forehead. "Of course, honey. Just stay within the boundaries of our pack, okay?" I ran my fingers through her hair affectionately, and she beamed up at me.

"Thanks, Mom!" she exclaimed, peppering my cheeks with kisses before darting off to join her friends.

My eyes are drawn to Ares as I stand up from my seat.

When he said, "Everything really changed," his hands were on my waist.

  I cracked a grin. I hushed, "Yes,"

"But our love will never change," Ares affirmed, his eyes reflecting the depth of his commitment.

I turned to face him, a chuckle escaping my lips at his words. "Everything that happens in this pack is a sign to the love we share," I mumbled, feeling his hand tenderly brush against my ear.

He smiled warmly. "You're still the same Dana I met when I was seven," he remarked fondly.

"Same to you," I chuckled in response, feeling a sense of contentment settle over me.

Resting my head on his shoulder, we observed the changes within the pack. It had grown stronger over the years. I had become the Luna they never expected me to be, and Ares had stepped into the role of Alpha that they always saw in him, a destiny that had eluded him during his time with Blaire. Together, we had forged a path that surpassed all expectations.

"Have another baby with me," Ares chuckled, his eyes sparkling with affection.

I laughed along with him, feeling a surge of joy at the prospect. "I'd have as many children as you want, as long as they're with you," I declared, sealing my words with a kiss. In that moment, as we shared our love and desire, I knew deep within me that I was carrying his child once again.
