Emily's POV

　　"Wait," his voice made me halt in my step and I watched as he walked closer, his treading feet resounded in the room. I thought I was wrong when I heard what he said. He wanted to have a word with me. Was that truly what he said? I parted my lips to speak, but no words came forth.
