Mia's POV

　　I made my way through the dark and unfriendly forest, my backpack on my back and a can of water in my hand. My legs seemed to know the way as they guided me, it was familiar terrain and I knew the way already. Three years ago, I roamed this forest in search of the man who I thought was my mate and loved me.
