　　From the beginning, I knew Christian Kennedy would never sleep with me. He wasn't like the other men I had manipulated before, weak, predictable, easy to pull by the strings of their ego. No, Christian wasn't stupid. He was fiercely loyal. Almost, obsessively so.

　　Especially to her. To Hannah McLean. Even now, just thinking her name made my nails dig into the velvet armchair in the hotel suite.
