　　"I- I'm sorry," the girl stammered, her apology catching me off guard. "I just meant...you look like someone who emerged from the moon! You're stunning," she continued, laughter bubbling up as she attempted to clarify her statement.

　　A relief quickly washed over me, mixing with the lingering traces of embarrassment. Her genuine compliment eased the tension, melting away the awkwardness of the moment.
