My mother, Omega Athena stood next to us with a glass of wine in her hand; she smiled after knowing about the thing that just happened between the Alpha and me. She has no idea if the Alpha was Luna Mira’s son. She was thrilled the moment she notices I might find my mate in this training facility.

　　“You look amazing, my dear” My mother stated with a huge smile on her face as she sipped the wine.

　　“Omega Athena…” My guardian angel bowed her head to pay homage to my mother; everyone in this facility knows my parents because they are the largest supplier of funds, including Lara who received a scholarship from them.

　　“Thanks for keeping my daughter safe, Lara” My mother replied.

　　Lara ran her gaze at me; she gave me a signal to find her after I finished talking to my mother, I nodded and watched her leave, I was so concerned.

　　“Mom, I thought you were still with dad!” I said; my gaze still focused on Lara at that time, she stood next to the food section and waited for me.

　　“Nope, boring conversations are not my thing! Your father came here to talk about his business with your principal which is not my place to stay any longer with them” My mother responded; sipping her wine afterward.

　　My eyes were still looking at Lara at that moment; she looked so worried and I questioned what was in her mind, it made me want to come to her sooner but I can’t because my mother is here.

　　“I see you dancing with that young handsome man earlier! Who is he?” My mother started to dig about the Alpha.

　　“I don’t know him well, but we will be in the same class tomorrow” I responded as my eyes kept pointing at Lara who stared at me in dismay.

　　“Honey, what is happening?” My mother started to notice that I was not paying attention to her and it made me immediately take my gaze away from Lara.

　　I don’t want to make my mother worried. She might send me back home if she finds out that I was in danger, she will against my father if she knows about it and I figure my father hasn’t told her about what was happening to us in the principal office yesterday, that’s why my mother acting normal.

　　“Honey, what’s wrong?” My mother started to run her hand closer to me; she holds my hand afterward, making me startled.

　　“Uh, yes, mom, nothing happened” I get stuttered, throwing her a toothed smile afterward, trying to convince her.

　　“You didn’t lie, don’t you?” She highly raised her eyebrow as she waited for me to respond.

　　“No, you know me, I never lied to you” I tensely chuckled.

　　“Okay, tell me about that guy” My mother started to run her gaze at the Alpha who was enjoying his moment in the crowd, with a smile on her face; my mother waited for my answer.

　　“I know nothing about him…” I said as I looked at him; the Alpha was dancing with his new friends at that moment. A small smile filled my face afterward; it was nice to see him smiling like that.

　　“Do you like him?” My mother asked.

　　“No, mom, I don’t” I lied and continued. “We are not the same, mom. I will never fall in love” I declared.

　　“Why did you say that, honey? Love is the most beautiful thing that happens in your life, and with love, I created you” My mother replied.

　　“Yes, I know… but I don’t want to fall in love...” I said. “I don’t want to be Omega Athena 2.0” I chuckled, teasing my mother, and my words tickled my mother.

　　“Sure you don’t want to be me, but still, I do love your father even though he has someone else still in his heart” My mother chuckled and she sipped her wine again; gulped down every drop of the wine until the glass is empty.

　　“Guess I need more! I’ll be right back, honey” My mother finally leave the spot, she went to the drink section and kissed my forehead before she went, I smile when I see her walk away.

　　After making sure that my mother reached the drink section safely, I waved at her with a toothed smile and left the place where I stood, went straight to Lara who was standing near the food section, but unfortunately she is not there anymore.

　　“Where the hell is she?” I wondered and started scanning, my eyes running around the place to find her; but I see her nowhere.

　　The bright light illuminated the ballroom immediately out, making the room as dark as a grave. Everyone in the ballroom was shocked the moment we lost the power, some of them screamed to express their feeling.

　　“Moon Goddess, what happened?”

　　“What is going on?”

　　Those words are the words that often came out of the guest’ mouths that night, they are wondering and confused, I don’t see any guards coming into the place when that scene happened which made me terrified because I can’t find Lara until now; this must have something to do with what she was going to tell me earlier.

　　“Vampires”

　　A guard who appeared out of nowhere shouted and startled the students and parents alike, the man came covered in blood just to remind us who was in the ballroom.

　　“We’re under attack!”

　　Before he could finish his sentence, a vampire stepped into the ballroom and killed that guy; his chest was pierced by a bronze bow and his body immediately fell to the ground, the vampire smirked.

　　The untrained students got panicked and started screaming when they saw the murder scene in front of them, they started running in disarray to find the exit but not me; I instead focused on finding Lara’s whereabouts.

　　“How that vampire could get into our gate?” My father gazed at the students who were running around the place from the balcony of the ballroom, he and Mr. Connor walk down right after.

　　“I have no idea, Alpha Adrian. Oh, no, your daughter” Mr. Connor getting anxious; the two of them quickly ran to the ballroom to find me.

　　I was scanning over Lara’s whereabouts the moment the vampires break into the facility, both my father and Mr. Connor didn’t see me that night, and to save all students, Mr. Connor, and the guards direct them to the emergency exit, all students then ran to that direction.

　　The students who were running in the opposite direction bumped into my shoulder and made me fall down, I was thrown right under the table and my head hit the floor at that moment; it hurts so much, my head is spinning.

　　“Ugh, shit” I whimpered in pain.

　　My sight was about to leave me and I will get killed if I didn’t fight so I tried to get off the floor and stand on my feet, unfortunately, I fall again; I can’t fight my spinning head.

　　“If I die tonight, please tighten my parents together, Moon Goddess! I don’t want them separate after my death” I said in a low voice as I held my spinning head; my eyes closed at that time.

　　I thought the angel of death came to take my life when I feel there is a hand holding my hand, my body lifted when I felt the skin, turned out it was my guardian angel, Lara; she was there looking for me.

　　“Where have you been? I have been looking for you, I got you!” Lara quickly lifted me up; my head still spinning as if I was on a roller coaster at that time.

　　“Where’s your mom?” She asked in dismay.

　　“I have no idea, she went to the drink section” I responded and the two of us then gets up from the floor; my guardian angel helped me.

　　“I need to take you to the emergency exit right now! I will find your mom after” Lara declared.

　　“You don’t have to worry, she can beat the vampires!” I said; my body then fell again because my head spun around.

　　“I got you, I got you!” Lara supported my body so I won’t fall, she placed my arm on her shoulder afterward and she was ready to take me.

　　Both Lara and I made our way to the emergency gate; with stammering steps, I tried to follow Lara’s steps that led me, all the students were as panicked as the two of us at that time rushing towards the emergency exit, making it difficult for Lara who carried me.

　　The crowd hit the two of us, making both of us almost fall like I was before, but Lara is trained for that kind of situation, she kept going and tried to save me.

　　“I don’t think I can make it!” I said under my breath, I was too weak to continue the walk. “My head is spinning” I explained and then I stop my step but Lara kept dragging me as she can.

　　“You will be fine! We're almost there, hang on!”
