A vampire stood in front of us and blocked our way, by that time more than ten vampires are getting into the ballroom; they carried bronze bows and swords.

　　“The treasure keeper”

　　That middle-aged vampire recognize me by just looking at my pale face, I, who was on the verge of losing my sight can do nothing but rely on my guardian angel.

　　“Shit, not now” Lara mumbled and quickly take my arm off her shoulder; she made me sit on the ground, my back resting on the table leg; I wasn’t even could support my head at that time.

　　My guardian angel protected me, she beat that middle-aged vampire with empty hands, Lara did not even change her shape the moment she fight that vampire.

　　“I have no idea how you get into my world, but I am ready to kill you” Lara growled, her eyes staring at the middle-aged vampire who was ready to stab the two of us with his bronze sword; that vampire looked at her in anger.

　　By that time the situation began to be chaotic, the vampires managed to thwart the efforts of the guards who tried to save the students at the emergency exit; the students also ran aimlessly to save themselves after that happened.

　　Like it or not, the guards had to forget about the plan to secure the students and fight against the vampires who had invaded the ballroom at that moment; the principal and the parents who were present also joined in on the fight.

　　We won on numbers but the vampires carry weapons that can kill any werewolves at any moment; the bronze they carry can allow us to meet the Moon Goddess in the divine world.

　　“Shit, I can’t be like this” I tried to get up from the floor so that I can help Lara who was fighting with the middle-aged vampire.

　　I manage to stand on my feet; my head is not that hurt anymore and I am ready to fight those bastards even if I got no wolf like the others. I caressed my head to reduce the pain before I ran to help Lara to kill the vampire, my legs shaking as I held the pain in my head.

　　“You must be kidding me” Lara mumbled when that vampire manage to scratch her left arm with the bronze sword.

　　“Lucky me, I am not left-handed!” She smirked; kicking the vampire’s balls and knocking him off balance.

　　I ran to them at full speed and help Lara to beat the vampire, Lara and I stood next to each other, forming a tag team.

　　“You’re good?” She asked before we started.

　　“Yeah, ready to kill our fellow” I smirked, forming my palms into fists as I continued. “But it won’t be my first kill!” I declared.

　　Our eyes started to focus on the vampire who at that time was still feeling pain in his groin area, men are sucks; even with a small kick in their groin, they could lose all the strength they had.

　　Without wasting any more time Lara and I started our attack. I was in charge of knocking the guy out from behind and Lara from the front. With all my might I hit the back of the neck of the vampire and paralyzed him; his knees suddenly hit the floor one second after I hit him.

　　He whimpered in pain, his face planting the ground at that time, sure my hit on his neck and Lara’s on his balls knock him out; the vampire’s body slowly sank to the ground afterward.

　　Lara started to climb on the middle-aged vampire’s back to give him the finishing blow, by then the vampire was in a prone position which made our attack easier, but unexpectedly he had other plans.

　　When my guardian angel was about to pierce him with the sword he carried earlier, the vampire turned around and made Lara fall; her body hit the ground afterward and Lara lost her chance to kill the vampire.

　　“Shit” I mumbled as I stepped back to get away from the vampire, by then he had already gotten his sword back; the vampire was ready to get me.

　　He erased the desire to knock out Lara’s limp body which was laid on the floor from his mind and if he wanted to, he can kill her at any time. But rather than soiling that bronze sword in vain, he would rather forget about Lara and go to get his true reward, the treasure keeper, Elora Adrian.

　　Knowing that my life was being threatened, Lara immediately got up from the floor and started her attack again, with the remaining strength she threw a table to the middle-aged vampire’s head and made him fall to the floor, unexpectedly, the vampire died, in an instant.

　　“He’s dead!” I exclaimed with a smile on my face; felt relief as I tell Lara that she manage to kill our enemy.

　　“Are you sure, he’s dead?” Lara asked again to make sure.

　　“Yes, he’s dead!” I responded with a relieved laugh.

　　With a smile on her face, Lara quickly approached me; the two of us then get away from the scene to find a safer place. It was my first fighting a vampire, I have only fought rogues in war before, never crossed my mind I will beat one of these bloodsuckers, and without Lara, by my side, I might be dead by now; I felt thankful because Lara is my guardian angel.

　　She held my hand when we ran, Lara did a good job and she protected me from danger. At that time, the ballroom which was filled with students and parents who enjoyed their moment turned into a land of death.

　　On that night, not only did ten vampires attack this place, their number was already countless at the time of the attack; they entered through the doors and windows that surrounded the ballroom.

　　All the guards and parents do their best to beat the vampire; they protect their children from the enemy. My father was one of them who fought the vampire but my heart beat increased three times when I see my mom nowhere.

　　“My mom, where is she?” I started to freak out when I realized my mother is not there; I removed Lara’s hand from mine after that.

　　“Elora, let’s go! We almost reach the emergency gate, I will find your mother after safely taking you there” Lara declared, she tried to pull my hand and dragged me from the scene but I shook off her hand.

　　“No, I will not go anywhere without her” I snapped at her and started to run my eyes around the place; I was looking for my mom's whereabouts.

　　“I assume your mother can beat them! Let’s go, I have to keep you safe or I will be dead if the principal knows I didn’t do my job” My guardian angel declared. “Come on!” She reached over my hand; tried to convince me to leave the place.
