Tears started to leave my eyes the moment I saw my mother inside the coffin; she wears a white dress which made her like a bride and her make-up made her even prettier.

　　I smiled and held my tears, knowing that the most beautiful creature in the world will leave me and live with the Moon Goddess in the divine world after her burial. My mother will be happy there but I will be alone here.

　　My father then came to comfort me. He stood next to me while caressing my mother’s side of the coffin. His eyes pointed at my mother who was lying inside the coffin.

　　“Do you have any idea why your mother’s body is still here for a week?” My father started.

　　I shook my head because I have no idea about it. The Red Bloods usually do burial three days after the death day, but not with my mother.

　　My father then told me about the day how he found us. On that day, two guards were patrolling Eden Spring’s gate. They were inside the car when they found a car that hit a tree.

　　The two of them do the protocol and didn’t leave the patrol car before checking on the safety of the accident scene, the guards were just being careful because they are afraid that it was just a trap from the enemy.

　　They then run the patrol car even closer to the scene and found out that one of the accident victims was the Red Blood, without thinking about the threat that could be happening to them when they got off the car, the two guards immediately ran to the wrecked car.

　　“Omega Athena” One of the guards spotted my mother that was inside the car; at that time my mother was still alive. “We were here to save you!” The male guard declared and the other guard immediately ran to the car to inform the authority.

　　They called the authority and told them to call my father by telepathy as soon as they can; my mother request that thing in her almost last breath and she waited for my father to come.

　　My mother also commanded the guards to not watch her. She told them to find me first and save me. At that time, the guard still had no idea about what happened in Scarlett-Polis.

　　The guards found my body not far from the car wreck and they immediately tucked me into the patrol car because I was the easiest to save. All of the people in the car including my mother were stuck inside it and there is no way to save them except cut the car body into two parts which are impossible for the two guards because they came without any preparation tools.

　　One of the guards pulled out from the road with my body inside the car and the other one stayed to keep watching my mother and the victims, my father told me that my mother was the only one still alive at that time and all people who were inside the wrecked car dead before the guards come.

　　After fifteen minutes of waiting, the paramedic came and they did anything they could do to keep my mother alive; starting from giving her oxygen assistance, to giving her pain killer injection while waiting for the special accident unit to come. But the bleeding that my mother experienced was fatal; her stomach was punctured by a car part.

　　My father came after receiving the telepathic call from the council, he came with my principal; they both also on their way to Eden Spring at that time and unfortunately they’re got away from Scarlett-Polis late than us; that is why we are not in the same road.

　　“Athena…” He immediately approached my mother who was in the wracked car at that time, with tears in his eyes, my father held my mother’s hand; her hand was full of blood at that moment.

　　“Glad, you came!” My mother smiled the moment after my father’s arrival; she held his hand even though she couldn’t. “I commanded them to take Elora first” She declared under her breath, my mother was in pain.

　　“Hey, we can talk about it later! Our daughter is safe and now we need to focus on you” My father responded; he tried to stop my mother from speaking because it will make her bleed even more.

　　“Adrian, I don’t think I can make it!” My mother said and she held my father’s hand even tighter. “Please, don’t push our daughter if the throne is not hers” She demanded as she whimpered in pain; by that time, the blood had fallen from her stomach to her legs and soaked her.

　　“Athena, look at me!” My father shushed my mother and demanded she looks at him so the pain that she felt would ease a bit. “I love you and I can’t lose you, please hang on!” He said.

　　That was the first time my father said those words to my mother because he never said the love word to her since they got married, even after they had me.

　　“Huh, I would die peacefully after hearing those words” My mother chuckled even though her bone felt as if they leaving her skin; she tried to cheer my father up. “I’ve been waiting for this moment, Adrian” She declared, seemingly telling my father about the love word, not her death day. “But I didn’t expect that we will end like this” She started to whimper again.

　　“No, Athena, we will not end like this! The help is on the way. They will get rid of that thing from your stomach and save you” My father declared. “We will get back to our house again after your recover” He continued. “And I promise I will restore the thread that broke between us” My father ended; kept holding my mother’s hand with teary eyes.

　　That was the happiest day of my mother’s life but it was also the last day of her standing in this world, a huge smile covered her face at that moment and my mother told my father that he is the only man she loved, she chose him not because her family asked her to, but because she loves my father in the first sight.

　　“I had a request, Adrian! Please don’t tell me to stop” My mother said as she whimpered in pain; by that time more and more blood coming out of her stomach.

　　“Yes, anything, Athena, I will do everything for you, but please stay with me” My father replied in dismay; his hand still wrapped my mother’s hand at that time.

　　“When my funeral, I want Elora by my side… Do not bury me without her existence!” My mother demanded; pressing her words.

　　“No, Athena, no, you will be alive!” My father raised his voice; he shook his head the moment he spoke. “I will not let you die” He declared.

　　“My time comes, Adrian… We can’t stop this” My mother started to get weaken; her grip slowly loosened and it almost leaves my father’s hand but my father stop it by grabbing her hand even tighter.

　　“Athena, no” Tears started to come out of my father's eyes; he never cried before but the day when he lost my mother made him cry, the paramedic then came to check on my mother.

　　“Excuse us, Alpha Adrian! We will do our best to keep your wife alive” The paramedic said as they commanded my father to give them room, my father then move a little and allow them to check on my mother’s condition; tension started to fill the place afterward.
