My eyes pointed at the paper bags which were laid on the bed in dismay, Queen Hermione had never been this serious before and it concerned me to see that she will punish my father if she knows that I will ruin the announced night and ashamed Adrian’s family by not showing any wolf signs in me.

　　Christopher feel my concern, he got up from the couch and started making his way toward me, my cousin then command the servant to give us some time, she then goes and waited outside until Christopher and I call her back.

　　“Hey, I know it’s hard when you have to continue your life when some part of you missing...” Christopher said with a slight grief in his voice; he was talking about my loss but it wasn’t the one that concerned me right now.

　　Even though I trust Christopher with all my life, I still have to keep the secret that I still had no wolf just on me, because I promised my father, and telling more people about this could risk both my father and me, I also don’t want something bad happens to my family.

　　“Thanks, Chris…” I smiled as I looked at him, feeling guilty because this is my first keeping a secret from my favorite cousin.

　　“Well, I think I got to go so you can wear those outfits and prepare yourself! I will wait downstairs” Christopher declared.

　　I then nodded and watched him leave the bedroom, the female servant then got into the room and walked toward me with a huge smile on her face.

　　“Do you ready for my help?” She inquired.

　　“Sure…” I smiled.

　　The female servant started to take the outfits out of the paper bags, she then showed me what was inside the paper bags; turned out it was a red gown and some jewelry.

　　My mouth half-opened the moment after I saw the gown, it was beautiful and I was so stunned to speak. My grandmother has the same taste as my mother; Omega Athena loves anything in red when she was still alive and it made me feel blue because I see my grandmother as a reflection of my mother, and my expression started to change into glum. Then I remembered, my mother made the queen her role model.

　　“What happened? You don’t like the gown, Lady Elora?” The female servant asked in dismay.

　　I can’t take my eyes off the beautiful red gown, does not even have a chance to blink the moment I saw it, and it makes me didn’t realize that the female servant has been talking to me all this time, the silence made her even more worried.

　　“Lady Elora?” She raised her voice and finally woke me up from my mind.

　　“Yes, I-I like it…” I responded in a stutter, immediately blinking the moment I awake from my thoughts.

　　“Glad to hear that! I will help you with these right now, we had a couple of hours before the announcement started” The female servant declared.

　　The two of us then walked toward the mirror, standing next to it to see how I look like in that red gown, the female servant helped me to wear it and I could not imagine if I have to wear the princess line gown by myself, that must be tough for me considering the gown tight as hell.

　　My breath gets heavier the moment she wrapped me in that gown, she tied the straps of the red gown on my back tightly and made my hunched posture straight up, I felt uncomfortable at that time but can do nothing against that.

　　“Is everything all right?” She inquired as she kept wrapping me in that gown.

　　“Yeah, it’s all right” I responded, couldn’t wait for her to finish the job. “Can you do it faster, please?” I demanded, holding my breath when I felt the dress pressing me.

　　She nodded and started to wrap me even tighter; we spent an hour just to place that red gown on my body and I felt exhausted before the announcement even start, my face even still virgin until now.

　　“I will wear the makeup by myself, you can go now, thank you!” I said, the servant then gets up from the floor after finishing helping me with the red gown.

　　“Call me when you need anything” She responded and then the female servant makes her way out of the room, I watched her leave and waited for my cousin to come back but Christopher never gets into the room.

　　“Chris? Are you there?” I inquired; I was still standing in front of the mirror at that time, my eyes pointed at the half-opened door then I remembered he was downstairs and might still doing his business.

　　I started wearing cheery lipstick on my lips after finishing polishing my face with loose powder that was the same color as my skin. I was perfect for a wolf that didn't even have a wolf shape inside, everyone can’t take their eyes off me after this and it would risk me, even more.

　　“Shit, why the Moon Goddess made me this beautiful” I praised myself but also feel uneasy because tonight my father and I will probably finish.

　　After finishing making myself perfect for the announcement, I took a deep breath before I step my feet outside, telling myself deep inside that everything will be alright and my father will find a way to save both of us from everyone.

　　My step then left the room, and there were two guards kept on guard in front of my room at that time. I gave them a small tense small before I step downstairs and they both follow me without my agreement; it pretty stressed me out because I don’t like to be guarded.

　　“I don’t want to be guarded because I assumed this palace is the safest place in Eden Spring, the two of you can do your job! You don’t need to watch me” I declared and stopped the two guards from following my way. “I will see Christopher downstairs, don’t worry!” I said and they both nodded in agreement, the two guards then leave the place.

　　I walked downstairs and see no one there, not even Christopher’s scent getting into my nose the moment I stepped my feet on the ground, my father does not even there too, only guards surrounded the place and stood like a statue.

　　“Where’s everyone?” I inquired as I ran my eyes around the place, my sight then guide me to the queen’s office.

　　Making my way to the queen’s office, I walk through the long cold corridor alone; I was there to look for my father not to hear about the political stuff and I see one muscular guard keep on guard in front of the queen’s office the moment I reach the place.

　　Something happened inside the queen’s office that made the guard have to watch it and not let anybody get into it or pass around it, making my curiousness raise the moment I notice serious conversation might be happening inside.

　　I have to figure out about that, so I trick the guard by pretending to be slipped on the gown that I wore, and voila, without waiting any more minutes, the guard noticed that I had fallen and immediately ran toward me.

　　“Lady Elora, are you all right?” He quickly asked one second after he reached me.

　　“I think I break my ankle” I pretended to whimper in pain, my face was down to the ground to see my fake broken ankle.

　　“I will get you some ice! Don’t move, I’ll be right back” He immediately left the corridor without even looking back to the queen’s office.

　　My plan worked perfectly, I watched him leave the corridor and quickly get up from the floor afterward. I quietly stepped closer to the queen’s office after that to see what was going on inside and my hunch was right.

　　The queen argued with my father, they were talking about the rogues' attack at the cemetery back then; my grandmother was angry with her nephew and if only she could, she might hit my father.

　　I rested my back against the wall, next to the queen’s office door at that time; thanks to the Moon Goddess I had the hearing ability that made my job easier, I then eavesdrops on their conversation.

　　“How could you let your daughter in danger?” My grandmother snapped at my father; she sounds wrathful.

　　“I will never let my daughter in danger, mother! It just happened, the guards secure the location and I thought they had already secured her” My father responded; he defended himself.

　　“I don’t want this to happen again in the future, Adrian!” Queen Hermione exclaimed and continued. “You need to protect your daughter…” She said.

　　Queen Hermione does not want to lose the next heir of Adrian’s family. She did not want the La Luna to replace the place that had been ruled by us and cut Adrian’s bloodline by getting the throne if I die.

　　“I will, mother, I will not let this happen again! All the guards had already kept on guard everywhere. Eden Spring is safe now! And nobody could pass the gate” My father stated.

　　“You know what my son… I didn’t mad at you! I’m just disappointed that you got Elora home late today” Queen Hermione sighed in disappointment. “I expected her to get back here before me” My grandmother stated and my father lowered his head down to the ground; he was also disappointed with himself.

　　“I apologize, mother… I will not let that happen again” My father responded with a slight disappointment in his voice.

　　“Your daughter is our prisoner starting from now… The guards will escort her everywhere she goes and she will stay until the coronation! Nothing could stop us from getting the throne…” Queen Hermione declared.
