How could I let my stubborn father make the Scarlett-Polis citizens’ life even harder by rejecting for helping them?

　　The vampires who dominated Scarlett-Polis made its citizens struggle and one of them just came here asking for refuge in the hope to find a safer place, I can’t watch them die by shutting my mouth and letting my father do what he thinks right so I make a move and do the thing that I should have done.

　　I got up from the couch and took a deep breath, making my way closer to both my father and grandmother; I used my heir privilege to voice my word that moment, crossing my arms before I start talking and to find out what plans my grandmother had in mind, I had to act as if I were the villain.

　　“Grandmother, I would love to hear about the plan that had been stored in your mind! I bet, my father also can’t wait to hear that” I said.

　　“Do not interfere! This is none of your business, you’re just seventeen!” My father sighed.

　　“Watch your words, Adrian! Your daughter just does her job as heir” My grandmother stated; she looked proud but everything that I do is just a trick.

　　The queen then started to explain, she sat on her work desk and pointed her gaze at us in focus. Both my father and I never take our eyes off my grandmother after her first word escaped her lips.

　　“We were here not to help them” The queen started.

　　“But mother, you said you agreed to relocate those people to Eden Spring” My father cut the queen, and it kind of upset her.

　　“I said no talking when I speak!” The queen said and her words immediately shut my father; he gulped in tension the moment he realized the queen started to get serious; she then started again.

　　“The addition of new residents will greatly benefit all of us! Why is that? Because with them we can get more votes if Elora still doesn’t get her wolf form before the coronation day” The queen grinned while explaining her plan.

　　“We will use them as votes and after getting what we desire, we can relocate them to another place! Or send them back to Scarlett-Polis after killing all those vampires! Relax, I will not let them die after helping us” The queen chuckled.

　　Relieved started to appear on my face the moment I learn the queen will not let them die, my grandmother then complains about her worries about the La Luna family. She said Harrison would be a good candidate considering he has a wolf and he is powerful, he is also a male wolf, which made him outplay.

　　And she couldn’t let the citizens of Eden Spring change course choosing Harrison La Luna over me, the queen said starting tomorrow she would order the guards to put up my name and pictures in every corner of the city.

　　They would also convince the residents that Harrison La Luna is not the right person for leading the city because he does not come from Adrian’s family and they will believe because the Eden Spring people have been led by the Adrian family for a long time, it’s a shame that my family would do anything to achieve their goals including stabbing their relatives.

　　Alpha Adrian said that after they manage to relocate all Scarlett-Polis citizens, he will discuss with Mr. Connor about relocating the training facility to Eden Spring until the situation in Scarlett-Polis gets back to normal.

　　My mouth corner formed into a half moon after listening to my father's declaration, I was thrilled knowing that I will finally get back to training after a long time taking days off which made me more excited because I do not even ever start the training yet.

　　“Dad, where will the training facility be?” I excitedly inquired, was about to throw a smile at him but I hold it to keep myself looking cool as the future heir.

　　My father then told me that we had an empty building near the chapel and it can be used as the new brand training facility. The building is bigger than the actual training facility in Scarlett-Polis and this city is a free vampire.

　　Then something bothered me, all of a sudden Alpha Drax who left me on the attack day and choose his Omega popped up in my mind, I realize I will not see him again if my father relocate the training facility to Eden Spring.

　　It made me feel blue after knowing that stuff probably will happen but why should I be sad when he does not even want me or care about me?

　　“Why did you change your face? You don’t like the idea?” My father inquired, his eyebrow raised as he waited for me to respond.

　　“No, I like the idea of relocating the training facility to Eden Spring!” I punched both my father and grandmother with a tooth smile, hiding the heartbroken feeling that I had when I remembered Alpha Drax.

　　My grandmother seemed to know that something strange happen, I suspected that when I see her brow raises when she looked at me. To make them forget about that, I started to change the subject and run to the heir stuff.

　　“I am so excited to get back to train and get my wolf form!” I said with a huge smile but fake on my face.

　　“I promise to both of you I will train harder and get my wolf before the coronation day” I declared.

　　And my grandmother started to smile do does my father who was sitting right in front of her, I felt relieved the moment I see them put all their trust in me, and now I need to plan more strategies to prepare for my victory against Harrison and get the family treasure.

　　“We are so proud of you, Elora!” My grandmother said. “But you don’t have to worry, even though you still don’t get your wolf, we are still the champion” She smirked.

　　My father then got up from his seat and made his way toward the minibar which was located not far from the queen’s work desk, he poured the wine into the burgundy and there were three glasses of wine at that time. He then gives the first glass to my grandmother and the second glass to me.

　　“For Elora!”

　　With an evil smile on his face, Alpha Adrian ran his burgundy into the air, followed by the queen, they both waited for me to run mine into the air and hit the glasses together to celebrate the victory that does not even happen yet.

　　Placing a fake smile on my face, I slowly ran my burgundy into the air, hitting the glass to theirs and creating the sound of glass colliding, my movement thrilled both of them.

　　“Cheers, Mazel Tov!” The queen said.

　　They both then sipped the special red wine made in Eden Spring with a smile on their faces, I still held mine in my hand at that time and wasn’t sure to sip my first drink like this because I am still grieving.

　　It was not the right time to celebrate anything, my mother’s body does not even disappear yet, she was still there in the grave and it is a shame for me if I drink my first wine after her burial.

　　“Hey, drink! It will be a bad omen if you don’t drink that wine! You don’t want to ruin our victory, don’t you?” My father highly raised an eyebrow and waited for me to drink the wine.

　　With full of doubts face, I started to run the glass of wine closer to my lips, gulping in tension when the tip of the glass is only one centimeter away from my lips. I then close my eyes when the wine started to run down my throat.

　　It didn’t taste that bad; I admitted this is the best feeling that I had ever had in my throat and when I open my eyes, my pupils dilated; I feel new energy has entered my body, and I felt inspired after that.

　　“How was it, my dear? It tastes amazing, right?” My grandmother asked as she chuckled.

　　“Wow, this is the best thing that I ever had in my life” I responded and then I sipped the wine again.

　　My father then took my glass from my hand and created a pouty on my face, I groaned the moment he took the wine away.

　　“Ugh, come on, dad! I just had a little sip” I rolled my eyes.

　　He then laughed, telling me that I need to get some rest for tomorrow. My father placed my glass on top of the table and stopped me from drinking any further. He said that I have to be there tomorrow morning and conduct political activities by assisting in the relocation of new citizens. He never gives me a chance to get more sips.

　　And when I was about to leave the queen’s office, one of our guards informed both my father and grandmother that there is someone who had waited for my father downstairs, someone that we know.
