“There is no way we let them stay in the Ascot River state”

　　The disbelief immediately covered my face the moment after my grandmother explained that she will use the Ascot River housing area as the new shelter. I showed the queen my disagreement at that time and it caused her to inquire.

　　“What’s the matter? Ascot River is a good place. Not only it is close to the downtown but it has also never been touched by our people” My grandmother said.

　　But the thing that concerned me the most is not because the place is not far from the chapel and the prospective training building, but because that place has lower protection than other areas in Eden Spring.

　　“Yes, it’s never been touched by our people because that place is not safe” I responded.

　　The Ascot River area is located in the suburbs of Eden Spring. Even though that place is not far from downtown, the rogues often look for a place to live frequently in that area and our guards killed them right away if they find them, some of our people were missing after visiting that area and we assumed the rogues kill them.

　　“Our warriors will keep on guard that area! We will also strengthen the gate! There is nothing you need to worry about. Moreover, they are not our people! We just need their votes to win! Remember, my love, focus on your goal” With an evil smile my grandmother declared.

　　“Those people are not our responsibility! They’re lucky because we help them and if only I could, I would love to tell them to not expect too much from us, but you know, it is not good for business!” The queen kept talking and I listened to her.

　　“We’re good enough because we help them when they’re begging for it! We clean their cities and drop them out of ours, but before that, I will make sure they will not leave Eden Spring until the coronation day! After coming out as the winner, we’ll set them free! What do you think, honey?” My grandmother inquired.

　　“Sounds brilliant…” I can do nothing but agree with the plan, faking the smile on my face when I look at her.

　　“Yeah we will also separate Scarlett-Polis citizens and the Rockwood” My grandmother stated.

　　“How come?” I raised an eyebrow as I wondered.

　　My grandmother then told me that Scarlett-Polis citizens are more important than the Rockwood because they have been our ally for millennia and the queen will also put them as a priority, we will clean Scarlett-Polis from the vampires first.

　　Resting my back against the seat, the conversation between my grandmother and I ended after that. Now I have to encourage my strength if only I see Luna Mira’s son at the gate. And if only I could, I would love to erase his face from my mind, get back to training and focus on what I desire, win the throne and get the family treasure.

　　Our cars then stopped, we finally arrived at the gate and there are so many people as far as the eye can see, there sea of people waiting outside of the gate.

　　Taking a deep breath to calm down is the only thing that I can do now, my heart raced even quicker the moment the car stopped, I didn’t see Alpha Drax yet at that time and I hope it will last long.

　　My father got out of the car first, he wasn’t in the same car as my grandmother and me at that time; he was in the third car. After stepping out of the car, he immediately walked toward our car and got into it, sitting in the front passenger seat afterward.

　　“Are you ready to make your first political move?” My father inquired as he turned his head back facing both my grandmother and me which sitting in the back seats.

　　I nodded and took a tense deep breath, saying nothing as I point my gaze at him. My father then smirked and started to talk to my grandmother.

　　“The guards said more than a hundred people are waiting outside of the gate! Are you sure we had enough room to relocate them, mother?” Alpha Adrian asked the queen.

　　“Ascot River is large enough to accommodate the Rockwood” The queen replied and she continued. “Leave Scarlett-Polis to me” She smiled, and the queen then got off the car.

　　As the queen stepped out of the car, both my father and I quickly follow her, my feet finally landed on the ground but before we could leave the driveway and go to the gate, another car came and shocked all of us.

　　“Son of a bitch” My father mumbled in a low voice so that the queen won’t hear him as he saw the La Luna family arrive at the spot, their car parked on the side of the road right in front of us. “Who the hell inform them about the relocation?” He wondered.

　　My grandmother shook her head and sighed. She put her head in the cloud afterward and started to make her way, ignoring the La Luna family.

　　“Let’s go” My father sighed.

　　The three of us leave the driveway and went straight to the gate entrance without looking back at the La Luna family. When we are on our way, the queen demands me to do my best to gain the sympathy of those people. I nodded and kept walking at that time, felt so nervous.

　　There are more than fifty cars parked on the outside of the gate as far as the eye can see, Mr. Connor immediately reached us the moment after he notice our presence, followed by Luna Mira behind him.

　　“Queen Hermione… you finally here” Mr. Connor sounded relieved the moment he saw the three of us; he then bowed his head in reverence for the queen, followed by Luna Mira who was standing next to him.

　　“We’ve been waiting for your order, Queen Hermione...” Mr. Connor said.

　　At that time only Mr. Connor and Luna Mira the representatives from each state can get into the gate while waiting for the queen to arrive. “Shall we, my queen?” He pleased the queen to continue her way, and we then made our way closer to the gate after that.

　　As all of us reached the gate, the La Luna acted as if they were in charge, their behavior make the queen upset, but she can do nothing because we were in the same competition.

　　My cousin and his father Lord Harry La Luna standing near the gate scolded the guards for not opening the gate for the poor people outside.

　　“My queen…” Lord Harry immediately reached my grandmother, he faking his weld up.

　　“We have to open the gate sooner! The vampires could reach the gate at any time” Lord Harry La Luna declared, he sounded worried but it was just a trick.

　　My grandmother smiled at him because she was sickened by his behavior before she says a word, not because she welcomed his existence. “We’ll open the gate, that’s why we’re here!” Queen Hermione replied.

　　“Everyone get into the car!” Mr. Connor demanded the people outside get back to their cars; all people quickly get back after hearing the order.

　　After making sure everyone had already taken their positions and there is no one left outside, Queen Hermione then ordered the guards to open the gate but before opening it, we have to turn off the electrical defense weapon that surrounded the gate.

　　The electrical defense weapon was finally dead, the guards then took up positions to guard outside the gate and after everything is under control, the people who were already in the car are welcome to enter the Eden Spring state.

　　At that time, we were already quite far from the Eden Spring entrance gate while waiting for the cars to enter the Eden Spring state.

　　Harrison and his father turned out planning the same thing as us, after hearing that the queen will be relocating residents of another city whose city was attacked by the vampires; they swiftly prepare to convince the new residents that they are sympathetic to what happened to these people just like us.

　　After the last car gets into the Eden Spring gate, the guards immediately get back inside and turn on the electrical defense weapon that protects the gate. All people were finally safe and arrived in the place that they thought was their new home.

　　Nobody knows that the reason why we help them is just to get their sympathy so that we can reach our goal. Even the closest person like Mr. Connor had no idea about the plan, but my dad may tell Mr. Connor considering the Scarlett-Polis citizens were our ally for a long time so giving a vote is not a big deal for them.
