Ascot River was named after my great-great-grandfather. He discovered this location first after fleeing the pack that was pursuing him at the time. His pack and he were nothing in comparison to another pack in that period. 

　　Their home was also stolen by the strongest pack at that time, and if only he did not find this place, we might have been rogues by now, not become the most powerful pack in the land like nowadays.

　　I can’t imagine myself becoming rogue. That must be hard for me considering my life has been great since I was a little. I got enough food, nice clothes, and a beautiful place to live, even though I had family issues, I am still glad for the thing that the Moon Goddess gave me.

　　It is been half an hour since the new citizen prepared their belonging, Mr. Connor came back and told my grandmother that his people were ready to leave but we didn’t see Luna Mira there yet, her people took extra time than Scarlett-Polis citizens. 

　　When all of us were waiting for Luna Mira to come back and gives us an update, her son walked toward us with no bags around his back, turned out Luna Mira send her son to deliver the update instead of her doing it by herself.

　　My body froze the moment I saw him making his way closer to us. I gulped in tension and my heart instantly stopped. I get back to my coma, my pupil was delighted the moment I saw him, but that was not because I mad at him, but because I missed seeing his face. 

　　His eyes were still the same as what I’d seen before, they were blue like the ocean, and his wave-like hair was blown by the wind the moment he walked, making the time feel like it was frozen. 

　　I had no chance to blink, breathing normally was even hard for me at that time and only the Moon Goddess can help me from the pre-dead experience that I feel right now. 

　　Alpha Drax then stood right in front of me, making me, even more, dead than before, but then my chest gets stuffy the moment I realize he was never there to look at me.

　　He bowed the moment he arrived, giving my grandmother respect and after finishing doing that thing, he informed my grandmother and all people that were there including me that his people were also ready to leave. 

　　My grandmother then demand all the guards that we had in the location to start gathering both Scarlett-Polis and Rockwood people back to the field because my grandmother had something to say before we all leave the location and cross the bridge. 

　　The senior guard then carried out the order, he ordered everyone who at that time was standing erratically near their car to return to the field with the belonging they were carrying. 

　　Alpha Drax was one of those people. He stood in the crowd after getting back there, standing in the middle of his mother and Diane. My face turned tight the moment I spot that girl standing next to him and I started to lose my mind.  

　　“No offense, I think helping the Night-Blood is never been a good idea!” I unconsciously declared, annoyance made the words out of my lips.

　　All the eyes immediately ran at me, even Lord Harry La Luna did not expect that I had thoughts like that; with a smirk, he then said. “Like father like daughter, I never expect to hear that from you, niece” Lord Harry was stunned. 

　　I then scoffed, still upset with the closeness between Luna Mira’s son and the Omega, with this laxity, Lord Harry La Luna took advantage of it. 

　　“Elora, watch your language!” 

　　Before I could continue my words and respond to Lord Harry, Alpha Adrian stopped me, he scolded me in front of the queen and the La Luna family. 

　　My father then gets closer to me, resting his arm on my shoulder as if he hugged me but the reality, my father squeezing my body like I was a potato chip. He then whispered, telling me that I need to focus on what we planned and kept what was on my mind until the La Luna left.

　　“I think we’re ready! We wasted so much time by staying here, people had waited for us!” My father said with a huge smile on his face; he still hugged me at that time. 

　　The queen looked upset but she can do nothing at that time, taking a deep breath is the only thing that she can do to calm herself down. She shook her head in disbelief to see me doing that risky thing, after that we all make our way to the location where everyone gathered.  

　　I was so stupid by risking my family position because I was fed up with Alpha Drax, thankfully, there is no Scarlett-Polis or Rockwood people near us at that time so I still save from destruction.

　　We then reached the location and all the royals who were there standing right in front of the new citizens with guards escorting us. All of the sudden, we all became spotlight. 

　　There are so many women and children as far as the eye can see and it is the opposite with Eden Spring state because we limit the birth rate here. The queen disallowed each couple to have kids more than two and if they did, like it or not, we had to kill it before it was even born yet.

　　People were against that at first when the queen spread the new policy and there are so many rallies around the city at that time, but then they realized she was right and accept that policy. 

　　We won’t be the strongest pack like we are today if we let the citizens have lots of children, it could lead to overpopulation which could lead to the destruction of a state, for example, the current cities of Scarlett-Polis and Rockwood, they have no defense because they focus on development instead defense.

　　The queen then started her sentences. First, she told them she welcomed all of those people to become Eden Spring citizens before we help them clean their cities from vampires. And then my grandmother run to the plan, she said that both Scarlett-Polis and Rockwood will be divided into two parts. 

　　Both Luna Mira and Mr. Connor were shocked but they looked thrilled because they will have their territory. Those people will feel like they were home instead of feeling like they are living in a shelter. 

　　But the reason why my grandmother did that is not because of that, she wanted them to separate because she doesn’t want to make them an ally that could harm our plan.

　　Scarlett-Polis citizens will live in the housing area which is located not far from the bridge while the Rockwood have to walk ten minutes more to reach their new home. No one objected to the queen’s decision at that time, what more could they hope for besides a safe place to live than having to live in the city with the vampires who could kill them at any time?

　　All of us then leave the field and started to make our way to the bridge, I walked next to my cousin at that time, Harrison La Luna, while the oldest walked at the front with the queen.

　　There are so many guards escorting us, putting us in a different position from the people who filled the roads. At that time, the royals walked in front of the crowd and led the way.

　　When we reach the bridge and were about to pass through it, a Rockwood girl which walked alone got slipped and fell to the ground, it was such a noisy situation that people didn’t notice her fall, but my cousin Harrison paid attention to every detail and that put him ahead of me.

　　Without wasting time he immediately ran through the guards who were escorting us, he helped the girl and helped her pick up her belongings that had fallen on the ground. And with a huge smile on his face, Harrison asked the girl.

　　“Hey, are you okay?” He started his sentence and by that time I had also stopped my step and pointed my attention to them while everyone kept walking. 

　　“Yes, I’m fine, thanks for helping me...” The girl said as she picked up her belonging. 

　　After observing what Harrison doing, I rolled my eyes in disgust knowing that Harrison never meant to help the girl, he just wanted her sympathy. 

　　When the girl had placed her bag on her shoulder, she looked at Harrison with a smile on her face, Harrison then hit her with a question. 

　　“I’m Harrison, what’s your name?” He inquired. 

　　A blue-eyed girl smiled after listening to his question, she then told him that her name is Demi. 

　　“What a beautiful name!” My cousin praised that girl with a huge smile on his face, causing the girl to blush.

　　The annoyance caused me can’t stop rolling my eyes and shaking my head, I was so annoyed with Harrison at that time, and then before one of them could continue the conversation again, somebody come and shocked me, that person also ruining their conversation.
