CHAPTER 42: Same Feeling Same Pain

The person who I hate and like at the same time came, his eyebrow raised the moment he saw the girl talking to my cousin, he was agitated. But still, he didn’t pay attention or looked at me even if it was just for a second when he arrived and that made me a little upset, I also felt blue.

Alpha Drax carried two bags in his back and he also had some in his hands, as he walked closer to us, he never took his eyes off the girl and Harrison, never running his gaze at me or acting as if I was there.

What shocked me even more, the girl turned out to be Luna Mira’s daughter, his younger sister. She has the same blue ocean eyes just like her mother and brother. No wonder, she looked so familiar when I see her as if I had ever seen that kind of facial feature.

“Demi, what are you doing here? We have been looking for you” Alpha Drax inquired.

The girl turned out had been separated from the group since we pulled away from the Ascot River field, she then told her brother that she was about to get back to the group and ended up here because she was having trouble with her belonging, thankfully, Harrison helped her, that what she explained to her brother.

I can’t stand to see a face that does not even act as if I exist, so I lifted off from the location and signaled the guards who escorted me at that time to continue our way. We then walked away without turning back.

Harrison then got back to the royals group after disappearing for a couple of minutes, he walked next to me as he used to before. This time, he was smiling as he walked.

I barely talked to him. Harrison is not as close as Christopher and I, but the thing that just happened back then gained my attention, even if it is not my business, I still curious.

“Don’t say you like that girl” I started my word and it let him by surprise because we never used to talk.

Harrison La Luna quickly ran his gaze at me the moment after he realized that I just talk to him, he chuckled in disbelief.

“Why did you care, cousin? I thought you never paid attention to me” Harrison said.

Taking a deep breath and rolling my eyes is the first thing that I have done to respond to his annoyance reaction, Harrison then started again.

“You seemed to care to the Night-Blood! What happened, huh? You like that blue-eyed guy also?” He gave me a look.

“What’s in the world, Harrison?” I mumbled in annoyance, rolling my eyes after that as I kept continuing. “Too bad, I wasted my time talking with you!” I said and then I walked faster to get away from him.

After walking passing through the bridge, we finally arrived at the first location housing area near the bridge that will be the Scarlett-Polis citizens’ new place to stay. All of us then stopped to observe the place.

Not all Scarlett-Polis citizens come to Eden Spring, same goes for the Rockwood; they bring pack members only. There is no way we could accommodate one city, my grandmother could never do that.

Not only could risk our defense, but their existence can make Eden Spring state unbalanced because those people also need to be fed, our state could never afford two cities' meals and it cost many flows of cash which my grandmother doesn’t want to spend on them.

My father then reached me, telling me to stay closer to him, my father and I then make our way toward my grandmother who was standing not far from us with guards surrounding her.

“Do you feel tired, grandma” I asked her ad I reached the location.

“Never been this fresh before! The air was fresher than the city center” The queen declared, one of her bodyguards then pleases her to take a seat.

I count ten houses surrounding the housing area after the queen tells Mr. Connor that he can take the charge start from now, he ordered his pack to get ready because he will choose which house each family gets. By that time, the Night-Blood still resting in the area not far from the housing area, and the guards keep an eye on them.

The Scarlett-Polis people then made lines and the guards helped Mr. Connor to do the job, after half an hour of putting them in their respective homes, the Scarlett-Polis people finally relocated.

My father went to the Night-Blood group when the relocating was going, he then got back after the Scarlett-Polis people got their homes. Alpha Adrian then informed the queen that the Night-Blood are ready to go, they rested enough.

“You can go with them and watch the relocation! I will stay here and talk to Connor” The queen said.

“All right, mother, I will continue my way, excuse me” My father started to pull away from the location.

The queen gave me a look after noticing that I still stay in my seat, her brow raised at that time and it made me realize that she wanted me to go with them; the queen also doesn’t want me to interrupt her private conversation with Mr. Connor. Moreover, I saw Harrison in that group too, he was trying to get the Night-Bloods’ attention so I can’t let him win.

I quickly get off my seat and stopped my father from walking any further by calling him, he turned around and thought I was there walking next to him, turned out I still stay with my grandmother.

“Let’s go!” He commanded; I couldn’t wait to run toward him after that.

The two of us then leave the first housing area and start to walk ten minutes more to reach the second destination. I was walking behind my father and his guards while Harrison and his father walk separately.

I saw Harrison flirting with Luna Mira’s daughter, Demi. He deliberately walked apart from the royals to be close to that girl but I don’t give a damn because that is not my business. All of us then reached the place after that.

How surprised I was to see that the first housing area was more maintained than the second one, this place has no lights and electrical gate defense. After seeing the unexpected housing area, Luna Mira comes to ask my father about the problem, she wants clarification.

“Alpha Adrian, is it true that this is our new territory? Why there are no lights in here” She inquired, Luna Mira was perplexed.

My father then explained that the guards will put the lights around the place tonight. They were also installing the electrical defense gate and Luna Mira had nothing to worry about because my father will make sure everything run perfectly.

When he talked to Luna Mira, my father never dares to run his eyes at her. Instead of looking at Luna Mira’s eyes, he stared at her forehead. Sure, he still had a thing for her.

Twenty houses firmly stood in the ground, there are more houses in this area than in the first area and I assumed that why my grandmother gave the Night-Blood this location instead of the first location because there are more of them than the Scarlett-Polis people. I feel bad for thinking that my grandmother did this on purpose because she still has resentment toward Luna Mira.

All of them then took their stuff and we left the rest to Luna Mira because she is the one who should control her people, not us. My father and I still stood near the housing location at that time, waiting for the guards to install the electrical that had been dead.

The electrical then started to work again and the lights that had been off now turned on, the evening sky making the lights even more luminous, this place is nothing like a housing area, but carnival land.

The senior Guard then came and told my father that they had problems with the electrical defense gate. Alpha Adrian and Lord Harry La Luna then went to the location to check on it, he left me in the location, and like it or not I have to stay with Harrison.

He was sitting on the bench, his eyes running around the spot and I believe he was looking for the girl. I was exhausted, and my feet started to get twisted so I can do nothing but join him sitting on the bench.

My mouth shut the moment I landed my ass against the bench, my cousin did not even notice that I had already sat next to him because he was too busy looking around the spot to find the jackpot.

“You have to keep those eyes stay on its place, or they will get off you sooner!” I said.

Harrison La Luna was startled, his shoulders lifted as he ran his gaze at me and then he gets back to his original setting, becoming the cocky La Luna.

“Stop, what you said is nonsense” He groaned in disgust.

“Why? I said the truth though” I chuckled, mocking him.

He rolled his eyes in disgust; heavily sighed because he had nothing to say, Harrison La Luna then removed his gaze from me, he was sick of me.

“Oh, now you ignore me? I thought my cousin love to mess around more than I am” I said.

Harrison then gets back to me, he stared at me in annoyance, never been once in his life somebody messed with him because he was the one who messed with people.

“Look! I don’t have a mood to deal with you right now” He said. “It would be great if you stay your face away from me” My cousin sighed and then turned his face away from me and crossed his arms, landing his back against the bench.

Harrison was pissed off, but I believe I wasn’t the one who caused it, something bothered him and made him feel blue than I am, which attracts my sympathy.

  “Hey, what’s wrong?”
