My eyes stared at him in concern and my voice lowered when I asked him, Harrison La Luna, who has full of anger in his eyes and desire to get the throne every time I look at him now turned into a fragile wolf.  

　　He looked at me, his eyes glowing but that is not because he was happy, he was bottled up and I could see the burden that he kept all this time when I stared into the green eyes that he got from his mother.  

　　He was about to tell me about what was in his mind, his mouth half-opened at that time and the word was about to escape his lips but before he could say a word, Lord Harry came and ruined everything. 

　　“Harry, you need to go with me!” His father commanded. 

　　My cousin who was resting his back against the bench in a blue feeling immediately pulled his back off the bench; he draw himself up when his father arrived at the location. 

　　Harrison La Luna acts like he used to be when he was around his father, he turned into a cocky cousin again like the thing that just happened back then never exist. He even acted as if we never talked. 

　　“Yes, father as you wish” Harrison La Luna replied; he acts icy cold.

　　The two of them then lifted off the location, his father give me a small smile before they leave and I replied to him back with a smile. I watched them leave and they then disappear into the housing crossroads.

　　I was sitting there for like five minutes before one of the guards came to get me, the sky started to get darker and the night will soon hit the ground. 

　　“Lady Elora, your father commanded me to get you!” The guard said as he arrived at the location.  

　　“What? Where is he, are we leaving now?” I asked. 

　　The guard then explained that we will not leave the location because they had problems with the electrical defense gate and they still working on it, like it or not, we have to stay one night and get back tomorrow morning. 

　　“Are you serious?” I punched him with more questions. 

　　“Positive!” The guard responded. 

　　“But how’s the queen?” I wondered. 

　　“Queen Hermione had already got back to the city center since evening and one of the guards had already told her about this circumstance” He explained.   

　　“Ah, okay! But why don’t we just go back to the city center and get back here tomorrow?” I inquired and my eyebrow raise in confusion.  

　　The guard then explained for the safety of the royals we can’t risk that, he also said there might be an unexpected attack because they are not sure about road safety yet. The guard said maybe vampires or rogues are hiding on the hill and could attack our car at any time. 

　　Each place in Eden Spring has its defense. Every housing area has gates and electrical defense that can stop the vampires and rogues from getting through it. 

　　The city of Eden Spring which is big enough doesn’t allow us to put up a defense system around the city like making a circle around the city because there are lots of hills surrounding Eden Spring, so we can't install the electrical defense system around the hill that is why after the attack we can’t drive at night unless if it’s emergency.

　　We usually drive at night. The city was safe before the vampires' attack. Even though Eden Spring is the safest state in the land right now, we cannot act arbitrarily because danger may arise suddenly.

　　The two of us then leave the location, the male guard led me to the place where my father was and after a couple of minutes of walking through the housing area, I saw my father at the entrance of the housing location. 

　　I quickly made my way toward him. My father was busy doing his job by instructing the workers to install the safety electrical device. He then left his job after seeing me coming and the guard who led me to him left afterward. 

　　“Thank you!” I never forget to thank the one who did a good job, the guard bowed before he left. 

　　Alpha Adrian asked me about the circumstance, do I know what happened? And I nodded after he punched me with a question. My father then told me he will finish the job soon. 

　　He made me wait near the entrance gate while the workers and he do their best to install the electrical gate defense. I saw they were struggling at that time because when everything is set up, the power was live and there is no electric short circuit, the electrical defense still not working, and the electrocution never show up.  

　　And when the workers do the last try to turn on the electrical defense, all of the sudden, the power who were surrounding the housing area dead, and the location immediately turned as dark as the grave. 

　　People screamed and they got off their houses immediately even though they were still busy placing up the things they brought inside the new houses. 

　　“Turn on the power, quick!” My father commanded the workers. 

　　Some of the guards who were escorting the place immediately run toward me after the power sources were dead. They are protecting me and making a circle around me.

　　“What happened? I thought this place safe enough for us” I wondered as I ran my gaze around the guards who were surrounding me as if I were gold.

　　They said nothing but kept protecting me, I saw everyone near the gate trying their best to turn the power back. My father seemed concerned at that time as if they hid something from us. 

　　“What is going on here? Tell me!” I raised my voice, waiting for the guards which surrounded me to speak.

　　“Nothing to worry about, it's just a technical problem, Lady...” One of the guards said but I don’t believe him, they know something but chose to not tell me about that. 

　　The power then gets back to normal, the unclear place has now turned clear and the people who were there are relieved the moment after seeing the lights on. I see Luna Mira walking toward the entrance gate to see my father after that and I also need to be there to hear his explanation. 

　　“Free me! I need to see Alpha Adrian” I commanded the guards who were escorting me to move. 

　　The three guards then move away and give me space, I finally see the way out. “Thank you!” I thanked them for giving me space and then I make my way toward my father but the guards still doesn’t let me out of their watch. Instead of leaving me alone, they followed me. 

　　“This can’t be real” I sighed the moment I realized they were following me as I kept walking closer to the entrance, by that time Luna Mira had already got there. 

　　Luna Mira looked terrified, she frowned the moment she stared at my father who at that time had already left his job so that he can talk to her; my father saw me coming.

　　“I’ve told you to wait there with the guards!” My father sighed as he continued. “You are not safe here” He declared. 

　　Luna Mira then asked what he meant by telling us this place is not safe, my father avoid the question by telling her that the workers will do their best to turn on the electrical gate defense. 

　　The sound of sparks was then heard clearly throughout the housing area, it turned out that the sound was coming from an electrical short that occurred because they pushed to turn on the electrical gate defense. Then the power turned off again, too bad they can’t fix it and it causing the area dead as hell.

　　“Shit!” My father mumbled. 

　　By that time, all the Night-Blood had already gotten off the houses and waiting in concern on the streets, there are so many children also.

　　One of the workers then comes to inform my father about the circumstance that just happening, he looked worried at that time. “Alpha Adrian, we got problems!” He said and my father then pulled him away from the place we were standing so that we can’t hear their conversation. But I was blessed with hearing power that nobody knows about it, so my father can’t run from it. 

　　The worker then said that the electrical short had caused the defense shield to be damaged and they would have to return to the first location of the Ascot River area to retrieve a tool that could help them repair the security shield, and my father disagreed with them.

　　“That is a stupid movement to get back when the street has no defense shield even though we got weapons, we still can’t do that” My father declared in a low voice; he was trying to hide the problem from all of us. 

　　“I don't want to act recklessly and lose my men! We will wait until the sun hit the ground” Alpha Adrian stated. 

　　The worker then nodded and get back to his group, informing them about my father’s decisions after that. Alpha Adrian then turned back, placing a smile on his face when he walked toward both Luna Mira and me. 

　　“You need to explain, Adrian! Why the power is dead? My people are concerned” Luna Mira quickly asked him the moment he reached us. 

　　My father did not answer her question, instead, he tell her other stuff. “Please, gather all your men here, we will talk about this after they’re here” My father declared. 

　　Luna Mira nodded and immediately pulled away. She went back to the housing area in a rush and we both watched her leave. 

　　“You’ll stay, Adrian?” Lord Harry La Luna popped out of nowhere with his son next to him and a couple of guards escorting the two of them. 

　　“Yes, we’ll stay here until tomorrow” My father responded. 

　　At that moment Lord Harry La Luna was about to leave the location, he was ready to take a walk but my father stopped them and force him to stay. 

　　“We got weapons, Adrian! None of the vampires or rogues will dare to show their faces in front of us, we’ll kill them all!” Lord Harry La Luna proudly declared; his head in the cloud. 

　　“I know you and your men can do that, but why don’t you stay here so that we can work together to keep this place safe? Moreover, this part of the competition” My father smirked.

　　He used political stuff to stop Lord Harry La Luna from leaving the place, my father is the smartest man alive, and he uses La Luna's weakness to get more power sources if we get an attack.

　　“What do you think, Harry?”
