Lord Harry La Luna agreed with my father, not because he was afraid of being attacked by vampires or rogues, but because he wanted to win the competition above all else.

　　All of us will certainly spend the night in the Ascot River area and my father has also provided a guest house for the royals, which makes me suspicious because he has never been this prepared as before; surely he has hidden something from me.

　　After a couple of minutes of waiting for Luna Mira to bring her men, she finally came with fifteen men, I can’t believe they only have fifteen men for the number of people they brought here.

　　“These are the best men that I had recently, the rest stayed in Rockwood to secure the city and the people who stayed there” Luna Mira declared as she arrived.

　　All the Night-Blood’s men had tattoos all over their bodies and it was pretty scary considering I had never seen any of us wears tattoo because the Red-Blood pack disallowed that stuff for the royals, even the Eden Spring citizens don’t dare to ink their skin because of the queen’s policy.

　　Even though Luna Mira came from the royal family, the Night-Blood pack is so different from us. Their policy is about freedom which is the opposite of the Red-Blood pack which disallowed that thing. Our lives are full of rules and that raises us.

　　They are also not the leader of Rockwood city, that city uses a voting system in which everyone can volunteer rather than choosing the royals. That is why Luna Mira just brought some of her pack’s members and safe them. No wonder, they had a low defense system.

　　I also never went to Rockwood so I have no idea how strong their pack is, but surely the Red-Blood pack is stronger, if not, why do they asking for our help instead of staying in Rockwood and solving their problem?

　　Her son then came and it surprised me because I never thought he will join the group, Alpha Drax changed his outfit, he was wearing a black shirt and jeans today, but now he wore a white polo shirt that showed his muscles, even though it was dark here, my eyes could spot those hot muscles.

　　And how stupid I was to think that he will never join the group, Luna Mira’s son is the Alpha of the Night-Blood pack. After his father’s death inevitably he had to continue his father’s position and lead the pack at a young age.

　　I gulped, my head spinning around all of the sudden so do my eyes can’t stop staring at him, my body temperature raise and I’m getting hot after admiring his muscles, then my cousin ruined everything by stepping on my feet, he messed around, making me pay for mocking him earlier.

　　I blinked the moment I feel my feet get hit by Harrison, the strange feeling that I felt earlier immediately gone after that. I then quickly removed my gaze from Alpha Drax and acted as if I never see him.

　　“This is my son! You must be heard about him...” Luna Mira said.

　　“The birds sing, I heard everything” My father responded and he then started to signal all the Red-Blood guards to join us.

　　All of the guards joined us and the wide streets were now overrun with werewolves and Lycan, but the werewolves here became their superiors because we were in charge.

　　My father was in a good mood that night because he had finally been able to feed his ego by commanding the Lycans. He had been waiting for this moment to happen, he had been waiting for them to beg him for help and it was the time to step on them.

　　Alpha Adrian then explained to all of us that like it or not, the one who has the ability to fight has to stand guard because this place has no electrical defense device and the vampires or rogues can attack us at any time. We have to work together to keep the place safe for everyone.

　　My father explained the whole plan, he commanded the Night-Blood men to keep on guard around the housing area while the Red-Blood guarded the entrance location.

　　He also commanded some of our guards to join the Night-Blood guarding the housing area, they had to keep on guard circling the place so that the whole place will be surrounded by us and there will be no gaps for the vampires or rogues to get into Ascot River area.

　　It is positive that all of us have to stay alert for our own sake and like it or not, none of us could sleep tonight because we got jobs to do. But the best thing is I can see Luna Mira’s son all night long.

　　After the meeting ended, Luna Mira and her men started to pull away from the entrance location. They went straight to the housing area to do what my father demanded and Alpha Drax was one of them, he left without turning back as if we never know each other.

　　“You can get some rest right now! The guard will walk you to the guest house” My father demanded I leave instead of letting me help them keep on guard the place.

　　I was surprised, my eyes bulged and my brow raised as I pointed my gaze at him, my father thinks that my energy is not needed here, he treat me as if I was a little weak girl.

　　“I am not going to the guest house, father! Maybe Harrison can take my position instead” I said.

　　My cousin rolled his eyes the moment he heard my sentences, he looked upset at that time but he doesn’t want to waste his time by arguing with me. Lord Harry La Luna then started his sentences.

　　“Let your daughter prove that the queen chooses the right person to stand on the throne, Adrian! Your daughter might be useful…” Lord Harry La Luna declared with a smirk on his face, he then signaled his son to go with him and the two of them then leave.

　　My cousin never disobeyed his father, since he was a kid his father always pushed him to be the best of the best so that he can get what he desire, standing on the throne. Even though Lord Harry had no chance because my father is the Alpha of the Red-Blood pack, he had a new plan after knowing that the Adrian family had born a female wolf instead of a male.

　　Therefore since childhood, Harrison has been raised to be on the throne even though the chance of ascending to the throne was only thirty percent. But Lord Harry never gives up and still stands firm on his standpoint. That’s what makes the La Luna family very distinct from our other relatives; they want to change Adrian’s family bloodline to theirs.

　　“You’re in big trouble, Elora! Queen Hermione will rip me off if you scratch even a little” My father said with a heavy sigh. “You know the danger could come at any time here that’s why I suggested you stay in the house and wait until tomorrow so you’ll be safe” He kept continuing. “Now, Harry La Luna threw down the gauntlet and made me have no choice but to let you up tonight” He ended.

　　My mouth corner formed into a half-moon smile the moment after I heard my father’s declaration, I was thrilled. But then he placed me in a location that I never expected, making me go crazy because I am not ready for that.

　　“You’ll be joining the guards watching the housing area with the Night-Blood” My father stated.

　　“What, no! I want another location, like here” I responded, pressing all the words that escaped my lips and I was dismayed.

　　My father denied my request because he had a reason for locating me there. He said the location around the housing area is the most harmless location of the others, so I have to stay there or waited in the house until tomorrow.

　　“Harrison will join you!”

　　My uncle popped out of nowhere, I thought Harrison and he will join the Red Blood to keep on guard around the entrance gate but my guess was incorrect. Harrison will become a nightmare for me if he stays with me tonight. I don’t even could handle seeing Luna Mira’s son, now I have to stick with my cocky cousin all night long.

　　I couldn’t imagine how hard my life could be when I have to deal with two people that had always raised my temper all the time. Alpha Drax left me without a word; he pissed me off because he didn’t even apologize after leaving me, plus seeing him with another girl made me jealous but looking at his face for a second made me lose my mind which made me don’t understand.
