The residential area become extremely quiet as the night hit the ground. There were no more noises that came from the people who lived there at that time. Only the tree noises which came from the wind hitting them.

　　And the night was cold, it cause my legs to tremble because I can’t stand it. The male guard who stood next to me notices what was going on, he then voluntarily gave me the leather jacket he was wearing after seeing me struggle.

　　“But Lady, you’re freezing!” The guard responded in dismay, he kept pointing his leather jacket at me that moment.

　　“The weather will not kill me, I’m fine!” I said as I kept continuing. “Alpha Adrian will not kill you also” I chuckled, teasing the nice guard that offered me help.

　　The guard then placed his leather jacket back on his shoulder, at that moment I didn’t notice that Alpha Drax was observing what was happening at my checkpoint. When I removed my gaze from the guard who was offering me help earlier, Alpha Drax’s eyes locked on me.

　　His pupil was delighted so am I, we were staring at each other and wondering what was inside each other’s mind at that time, then one of my guards come and startled me, and our intense gaze was ruined afterward.

　　The electric shock run up from my chest to my brain and make me get back to reality, I then blinked and immediately got back to the main reason why I was here, to guard this place, not to fix the broken tie between us.

　　“Lady, I brought you some coffee” A nice guard that came from the entrance gate brought cups of coffee in his hand. “Alpha Adrian told me you might like this!” He said as he ran the coffee cup at me.

　　With a smile on my face, I grab the coffee from him. “I need serotonin, thanks!” I stated then I sipped the coffee.

　　The frozen feeling that I felt before was suddenly gone as I felt the warm coffee gets into my throat and swim down to my stomach, the coffee's strong scent also make my mood better.

　　“I never smelled this coffee scent before, where did you get it from?” I asked the guard.

　　“Their leader, Luna Mira supplied these coffees at the entrance gate and everyone was free to get them! Alpha Adrian demanded me to bring it to you after that” The guard responded.

　　“Ah, right, no wonder it tastes different from what we had here!” I said, at that time I stop sipping the coffee after knowing it was not Eden Spring's coffee. “Thanks, you can get it back now” I give him the coffee cup and he took it after.

　　We continue our duty after the small conversation afterward, and time showed up at 3 AM, my cousin still in his deep sleep, he was sleeping in the lounge seat as if he was a little boy, I laughed, shaking my head when I see him. Harrison will be in big trouble if his father sees him that way.

　　When I laughed, I notice Alpha Drax smiling in his spot, turned out Luna Mira’s son has been watching me silently all this time, and when I ran my gaze at him, he immediately turn icy cold.

　　Alpha Drax pointed his gaze to somewhere to get away from my sight, I rolled my eyes and repay his action by getting my sight away from him also, who do he think he is? Acting as if we never met but watching me in silence and when I look at him, he turned away as if never happened.

　　I am so sick of him and I can’t stand looking at his face anymore, so I told the guard they can find me around the sidewalk thirty meters from our location, I give them a good reason because if I didn’t, there is no way they will leave me alone.

　　I told them I was bored and need to clear up my mind, I will be sitting on the sidewalk while guarding and there is nothing to worry about because another checkpoint was less than ten meters away from the sidewalk I was talking about.

　　Even if it was hard to trust me, the guards had no choice but to approve my request, I then took the coffee back and bring it with me.

　　“Don’t worry, I’ll be fine!” I said to all the guards who at that time looked concerned.

　　Before I lift off from the place, a guard that came from the entrance gate checkpoint comes to the location. That man was filled with tension as he walked closer to us, he was coming by himself.

　　“Is there something wrong?” A guard who was on duty with me inquired him the moment he arrived at the location.

　　“I guess!” He responded and paused when he took a position to stop his walk. “We suspect moving stuff near the river under the bridge! That might be the enemy or just a wild animal” He explained, all of us were listening to him at that time. “And to make sure about that, I need some men to go check on that with me” The guard declared.

　　Alpha Adrian sent him to get the best men that we got here. Unfortunately, the best man was guarding me and with a heavy heart, my father had no choice but to take them away because he thought I still got Harrison with me, he is powerful and knows how to protect himself and everyone around him if something happens but the reality, he is nothing but a fool.

　　“Is that all right if we leave you here by yourself, Lady?” One of the guards who was guarding me inquired, they weren’t sure to leave me.

　　“For a good purpose, yes, I wouldn’t mind! Also, I will cancel my plan to move from this location and stay here with Harrison” I responded. “I’ll be on guard before you all come back!” I said and kept continuing. “I need more of these too!” I chuckled as I took the coffee cup held by the guard.

　　Now I have two cups of coffee in my hand and the problem is solved, all the guards who were guarding me have now disappeared into the end of the streets after lifting off from the location. Only my cousin and I stay still at our checkpoint, and the Night-Blood is twenty meters away from us, the atmosphere becomes quiet afterward.

　　I sat on the sidewalk and placed the coffee cups next to me, these cups of coffee will be accompanying me for an hour from now until the guards came back. I enjoyed the coffee while looking at the stars in the sky at that moment.

　　The sun will hit the ground in a couple of hours, I will get back to the city center soon and forget about this place or Alpha Drax who lived there, never come back to this place again afterward.

　　Normal life will finally come back to me tomorrow, I can’t wait to end this torture and get away from him. Then when I was enjoying my drink while sitting on the sidewalk, I see Alpha Drax start to lift off from his spot, his shadow then getting closer to me.

　　“What he’s doing?” I gulped when I saw him getting closer.

　　At that time, he left his checkpoint and he was holding the same coffee as me in his hand. My chest tremble the moment I saw his shadow is only ten meters away from my spot.

　　I was nervous after noticing he was making his way toward me to see me, I then get my ass off the sidewalk and was about to pull away from my spot. I turned around to avoid him, my legs shaking when I move them and my heart started to move faster, the freezing that had enveloped me now turned into a burning feeling that could kill me at any time.

　　My step slowly leaves the spot, I closed my eyes when I walk so that he would not recognize that I know he was there, I also don’t want to make any noises so I am acting as if I never saw him coming, but too bad, I step on the coffee cup and spilled it.
