CHAPTER 49: Gios tis Edém’s Arrival

Alpha Adrian yelled at him, forcing him to change his form into a human form so that it would be easier for us to recognize him. But the rogue stayed still, instead of changing his form, he forced my father to torture him.

“Torture me as you can, Adrian! I wouldn’t mind” He declared, still in his wolf form.

The rogue knows my father’s name. He must be famous around the rogues because nobody kills their people as much as my father that is why they become allies to our enemy in order to put the Red Blood down.

“Tell me who sent you to kill my family!” My father growled, he stabbed the rogue’s chest with the electric gun, making him suffer.

The rogue’s eyes started to lift; his pupils were not visible anymore because they looked up as high as they can. My father then increases the electric gun voltage, even more, to make him speak.

“If you’re not talking, I have another gun to make you in pain” My father started as he kept electrocuting the male rogue. “Talk bitch!” He yelled but the rogue kept shutting his mouth, accepting the torture all over his body.

It is been five minutes since my father shook the male rogue with the electric gun and that tough dude still stands in his stance, his hatred toward us made him choose death, rather than telling us the truth about who is the person that sent him to kill all of us.

“Oh, you don’t want to talk, huh?” My father smirked as he got up from his knee, he then signaled the guard to bring him the most powerful weapon that we had since our first ancestor.

Gios tis Edém, the son of Eden; he is a creature that bowed to the one who had the treasure in their hands. My father, the latest treasure keeper becomes his master after my grandmother handed the family treasure to him. And next, it could be me or Harrison that will be his master.

He has a wolf figure but his head was full of snakes, his fur was black like the sin’s souls and his hands were huge, he has a mighty body that nobody could put down and he becomes the reason why the Red-Blood pack always win the wars.

“I can’t believe you bring him here!” I was shocked the moment I realized the son of Eden was here with us.

After the thing that the son of Eden had done to the Night-Blood pack, my father still brings him close to them, no wonder, I got bullied by Diane on the first day of training.

“Those people didn’t know he was here! We kept him in the woods. That’s how we found all the rogues” My father responded.

The son of Eden then walked closer to us. The guard had him on a chain, that creature growled when he sees the rogue on the ground, his saliva dripping.

“If you kept your mouth shut, you will end up as his dinner” My father declared, he threatened the rogue once again before ordering the guard to free the son of Eden from the chain.

“Turned into a human, or die” My father smirked as he kept continuing. “Do it now!” He commanded, raising his voice in rage.

But the rogue still stands in his stance as before, nothing could change his mind even the son of Eden didn’t shake his courage.

“Well, as you wish! Free him now!” My father ordered the guard to free the son of Eden but before it could happen, I stopped the guard.

“Stop, don’t free him!” I yelled, shocking all people there.

With a heavy breath, I then explained that I will handle the tough rogue, I told my father that I will make him talk no matter how.

“Killing him can’t lead us to the truth, it will waste our precious time by finding nothing” I declared.

Alpha Adrian and all the guards nodded after listening to my words, what I said had some truth in it, and my father then agree with me, they will not let the son of Eden free and kill the rogue.

“Let me make him talk, I’ll do it my way!” I said then I start making my way closer to the rogue who lay on the ground.

One of my knees landed on the ground to support my weight, and my eyes pointed at him but not with rage, I was placid at that time. Then I ran my face closer to him, our eyes then locked at each other and I whisper to him afterward.

“I’m here not to harm anyone the way you did to me” My lips were only five centimeters away from him when I spoke at that moment. “Please, tell me who sent you to kill my family” I demanded, at that time my eyes still dry.

He kept shutting his mouth. At that moment patience still enveloped me, I smiled before continuing my words and that rogue looked at me, waiting for me to continue.

“You managed to take my mother’s life away from her that day, I bet you and the people you worked with were pleased to hear about that!” I said; my voice started to break.

“Do you have a mother?” I inquired and my question seemed to attract his attention; the rogue blinked the moment after he heard my question. “Glad you have because you took mine away weeks ago!” I scoffed.

“Can you imagine how your mother’s feeling if she knows that she is losing her son tonight?” I punched him with more questions and answer them by myself because the rogue says no words.

“Right, she will feel blue!” I said.

Then I take a deep breath before continuing my words, I was fighting the burden that I had in my chest so that I wouldn’t cry in front of everyone here and prove to them that I was frail.

“You’re a young man. I bet you were the same age as me!” I said; at that time I tried my luck by guessing.

And my guess was correct, the rogue who is under our control turned out to be the same age as me, I noticed from his blink. The plan that had been stored in my mind gets easier as I know something about him.

“Let me tell you something, young man…” I sighed then I get closer to him.

My face was now only two centimeters away from him, my lips landed near his ears, and I was ready to whisper at him so that the conversation just stayed between us.

“I will tell my father to set you free if you tell me about the person who directs you to us”

“You don’t need to tell me the person's name! I don’t want to make you in trouble, just their characteristic, you’ll be fine, I promise…”

I tried to convince him and by that time my father can’t fight the urge to kill him, he was about to kill the rogue with the silver sword he held in his hand.

“Father, stop, I’m not finished yet!” I stopped my father from running the sword closer to him; he then pulled the sword back.

“You see! These people were ready to kill you and will make your mother suffer. She will be looking for you after this! Of course, we will not hesitate to kill her too! So choose…” I whispered to him, pulling my face away from him afterward.

The rogue fought with himself, his mind flies around thinking about the next step that he should do. Should he try his luck and spill the tea to me, or should he stay quiet and accept his fate?
