The dim sunlight followed Beta Benjamin and me as we both walked through the woods on a tiny path. We went to the woods to track down the rogues after making sure there were no rogues in the river area at that moment.

　　I followed him behind, my eyes running around the place to spot something strange; at that time the circumstance seemed normal, there are no rogue signs, nor vampires.

　　Beta Benjamin then turned his head back to look at me who was walking behind him and I immediately stopped my step the moment after he signaled me to stop walking in sign language, the two of us then stop right in the middle of the tiny path with trees and bushes surrounding us.

　　I asked him in sign language did he spotted something strange near us, Beta Benjamin nodded as he kept shutting his mouth. That moment was strange because I did not hear anything at that time, only leaves got hit by the breeze and random bird sounds.

　　“Are you sure you heard something?” I inquired in a low voice, really, really, low voice; even my voice is smaller than the soft breeze sounds at that time.

　　“Yes, why did I lied to you” He responded.

　　Beta Benjamin then mentioned that we have to take our path so that one of us could find the source of the sound. I was hesitant at that time, not because I was afraid but because I am not that well trained which could make me kill a bunch of rogues without someone’s help; yes, I had the special ability to solve the war but I was using my brain, not my strength.

　　With a heavy heart and a little bit of nerve, I then agreed with his plan to find the source of the sound and the two of us separated after that.

　　I took the right path while Beta Benjamin took the left one. Walking by myself, I only heard the sounds of the wind hitting the leaves as I pass the path. The sounds of the river started to get blur as I kept walking.

　　I was alone in the woods that I have never been before, and my legs kept guiding me to walk further, at that time the sound of the river is inaudible, but the situation was still the same, I did not spot something strange which was relieved me because I thought I was safe.

　　Then I found a berry plant not far from the location where I was, it was huge with a lot of berries on it, and without wasting any more time I immediately ran toward it.

　　“Damn, I can’t believe I found it” A huge smile appeared on my face as I reached the berry plant, at that time I was about to pick the berries before something stopped me.

　　The sound of footsteps startled me, making the smile that had been all over my face gone, with a trembling breath I tried to get away from the location so that I can avoid anything that caused the noises.

　　I was terrified when the sounds are getting closer and I was confused because did not smell any rogues around at that moment, only green leaves and dirt scent that I could spot in the nice noon at that time.

　　Then something stepped on the dried twig, I was one hundred percent sure the sounds coming not far from my location because I could hear it clearly as if it was next to me.

　　I take a tiny step to leave the location afterward, my eyes running around the place to observe the location. My head felt as if spinning around when I pointed my gaze to the sky, the huge trees circling this location and making a hole in the sky caused the ones who see it feel like they were trapped in a hole and because of that, I didn’t realize that I stepped on a rock and causing me to fell to the ground.

　　“Ugh”

　　I whimpered in pain as I felt my back hit the ground, both of my palms landed on the ground and so does my back head at that time. There is nothing that could make my life even worse than this, even the hell that I got when I was near Alpha Drax is better than this situation.

　　At a full speed, I get my ass off the ground, and without looking around the location, I start to run slowly and lift off from the location. I was about to get back to the location where Beta Benjamin and I separated our paths so that I can find him but my plan was ruined when I felt somebody is spying on me.

　　“Get your ass off the tree, fucking rogue! I know you were here” I yelled, can’t hold myself staying quiet again; I need to speak up so that I can figure out who was the one who play with me all this time.

　　Then the sound of something stepping on the dried leaves audible again, after hearing that, I put myself in a standby position as I wait for anything that caused the noises to show up; my arms wide open, ready to run my fists that moment.

　　“Come on, show your ugly face!” I said, my chest rising and falling as I spin around the location, I was ready to beat that rogue but also terrified because I got no backup and it will be my first beating the rogues by myself if it is happening.

　　But the rogue never showed up, even though I kept yelling in the location so that they can find me and beat me, I see no rogues in the location but I can feel the presence at that moment.

　　“Guess they’re running away from me!” I declared; then I get back to my normal position and stop being watchful.

　　I was standing in the middle of a tree hole which was only visible from the sky at that time, the sun was starting to dim then. That means I need to go before the night hit the ground, my father must be looking for me right now and I am afraid he is worried.

　　When I was about to leave and get back to the location where last time I meet Beta Benjamin, a huge shadow all of the sudden jumped on me and came from the tree right on top of me.

　　It was big as hell and I did not see it coming because it moved like a flash, by that time it has already pushed me to the ground.

　　I screamed the moment I felt something push my back, the shadow has giant palms that could rib me at any time. My face planted on the ground when I fell, then I sense the shadow walking closer to me.

　　My eyes can’t spot the person behind the shadow because I decided not to move from the ground so that I could prepare a sudden attack when it reached me. The shadow then got closer and closer, it came to me as if I was the prey.

　　But I will not let it happen because the one who becomes the prey is the shadow, not me; acting as if I lose consciousness, I waited for it to come to me patiently.

　　The sound of the birds singing was the thing that accompanied my scary situation at that time. My ears became more sensitive as the stepping sound which came from the shadow kept coming.

　　I heard every step the shadow made and every second I count its movement, craving it to come closer so that I can do my action and have it in my hands.

　　After minutes of waiting for it to come, my waiting finally to fruition, the shadow’s feet that should have landed next to my face can’t make it because before it could land on the ground, I quickly took the leg and slammed the body down.

　　The body immediately hit the ground after I knocked it out, the person behind the shadow whimpering in pain afterward. Then I figure out the person behind it was a guy by listening to the whimpering voices he made.

　　His back hit the ground and I could hear his spine crack sounds as he fell at that time, his head also crushed against the ground, mixing his body into the dirt.

　　I still hadn’t seen the person behind the shadow yet at that moment, my face was straight to the front while lying on the ground after I knocked him out, then after pulling my courage back into my body, I turned my face to the right and see him, how surprised I was after finding out who he is.
