The black shadow that I thought was a rogue lying on the ground with a body mixed into dirt turned out to be Beta Benjamin. 

　　I quickly get my back off the ground as I realized the creature that I knocked out earlier was him, dismayed starts to appear on my face as I make my way toward him at that moment. 

　　“Damn, you scared me!” I tensely sighed, running my hand toward him afterward so that he can reach me.

　　At a full speed, Beta Benjamin reached over my hand and held it, our hands wrapped around each other afterward, and then I helped him to get up, putting all the energy in my body to make him stand on his feet again as he should be. 

　　“I’m sorry, I was terrified!” I said. 

　　Beta Benjamin then chuckled after having his feet back on the ground, he shook his head in disbelief at my defense strategy. 

　　“You did a great job earlier” He declared; then Beta Benjamin smoothed out his dirty shirt before continuing. 

　　“I didn’t expect you to improve this far...” Beta Benjamin said. 

　　The gloomy face that I got from guilt feeling after knocking him out immediately turned into a huge smile after listening to his words. 

　　“What?” I highly raised my eyebrow, giving him a disbelief look after that, I don’t believe what he said. 

　　“Yes, the strategy you used earlier was the strategy of ultimate defense and we usually used that when we are on the verge of death” Beta Benjamin explained as he kept continuing. 

　　“You know what I mean, when we are at a war and the enemy has already defeated us, we have no other way but to fight them in our sleep till we die, just like what you did earlier, you fake your unconsciousness then voila, you got me!” He ended. 

　　Beta Benjamin looked thrilled at that time. He then asked me about how my training was going. I told him that the training is not going well because the vampires break into the city when I was not even twenty-four hours in the facility.

　　Then I told him about my father’s plan to build a new facility in Eden Spring and suggested Beta Benjamin become my coach, he laughed because there is no way he got time considering there are a lot of jobs that had waited for him on the lists, the queen will not let him free from his duties.

　　“You’re right, that’s sucks” I chuckled. 

　　“There is no way the queen will set you free from the tasks!” I said. 

　　Beta Benjamin and I then left the place after telling me he found something not far from this location, he said that I will like his finding but we have to go rush before it disappears.

　　I was curious about the thing that he had said he found at that time and my curiousness caused me to ask him about it when the two of us walked through the tiny path to get to the location. 

　　But Beta Benjamin seemed to keep it as a surprise so that I can find out by myself when we reached the location.

　　The two of us walked through the tiny path and got closer to the left path that he had passed earlier when we both separated in the middle of the road. By that time the sunlight was getting dimmer, indicating that in a few hours, the night would hit the ground. And after six minutes of walking, we finally reached the location.

　　My mouth half-opened as my eyes pointed at the location at that time, I was so stunned to speak. My eyes sparkled as if there are stars in them and the day when Beta Benjamin took me to that location become the most magical day of my life. 

　　I spotted a deer not far from the location we both standing, it was chewing the plant on the ground. The place was also filled with fireflies, turning the woods into a night club which made me don’t understand why the fireflies surrounded the place when the sun was still lighting the woods.

　　Then I look up to the sky and realized that all the trees in the location blocked the sun to get through it, making this place nothing like woods, but a gleaming room, after admiring the fairy tale location, I couldn’t wait but to step into it.

　　But Beta Benjamin stopped me by gripping my wrist and locked me in the location where I stood at that time. He shook his head to signal me to not get into the location which the ones who sees thought it was a magical tree house.

　　“What’s the matter?” I inquired in confusion. 

　　The words that came out of my lips turned out to attract the deer which was doing its stuff inside the fairy tale location. My heartbeat then increase when I figure out that wasn’t a deer but a mutant. 

　　When it came chasing us, the mutant deer was five times bigger than both Beta Benjamin and I, which was so different from what I saw inside the tree-house-shaped area. It also has red eyes and razor-sharp teeth. Its half-face was a skull, not a deer.

　　“Holy shit, it came to us” I mumbled and was about to run but when I saw Beta Benjamin stay in his spot, I cancel my intention to leave. 

　　As the deer approached the two of us, Beta Benjamin hit its neck and made the deer fall to the ground but his boxing didn’t make the deer give up, instead, it get up and run toward us again. 

　　I get away from the location as I realize there may be a fight in the location after this, I hid behind the tree which was located not far from the spot where the two of them fighting; pointing my eyes at both Beta Benjamin and the mutant deer afterward and choose to not get involved in the fight. 

　　My guess was correct, the deer not wanting anything but Beta Benjamin’s death, the deer attacked Beta Benjamin after; the two of them then fought. 

　　Beta Benjamin stayed in his human form at that time, but he was still more powerful than the mutant deer and after only three times punches in the deer’s face, Beta Benjamin manages to kill it. After making sure the deer was dead, Beta Benjamin then asked me to get out of my hideout.  

　　“What a poor guy!” I said after getting back to the location and seeing the dead deer on the ground. 

　　I was admiring that creature because I had never seen one before. I thought it was real deer that I can pet, turned out it was something else. 

　　“I have never seen such a weird creature like this except the son of Eden” I chuckled. “I thought the son of Eden is the only one” I declared. 

　　“You’re still seventeen and never went away from Eden Spring! You’ll see more of this kind of creature outside” Beta Benjamin said. 

　　Our world has bunch of supernatural creatures since the gate of our world and the other world opened years ago, but I haven’t seen one until today. Then I asked Beta Benjamin something that had been stored in my brain since a long time ago.  

　　“How about the son of Eden, do we find him from another world?” I inquired. 

　　“But he was here in millennia, how can he get here while the gate just opened years ago” I wondered. 

　　And Beta Benjamin has no clue about that, he said only the Red-Blood late kings and queens know about where the son of Eden came from and soon I will be the one who knows about the treasure keeper’s protector, o gios tis Edém.

　　“Well, I will tell you when I find out about that” I chuckled. 

　　“Sure you will not because that is the heir’s secret! Nobody should know about that” Beta Benjamin laughed softly. 

　　Both Beta Benjamin and I then made our way to the magical spot which has fireflies and was covered by trees, the place looked like a tree house but it was on the ground. 

　　As I stepped out into the spot, the fireflies which were surrounding the place started to fly closer to me; they covered me with their lights after, flies around me.

　　“I think they like me” I chuckled as I tried to get them away from me. 

　　Beta Benjamin and I then take a position right under the massive tree and sat on the huge rock, I felt so relaxed after resting my back against the tree at that time. Beta Benjamin sat right next to me, we then took a deep inhale of the fresh air which came from the woods.  

　　The scent of the trees surrounding the place smelled better than the morning coffee that my mother always made for my father and after feeling it in my nose, I can’t stop inhaling it, plus the scent of the ground also accompanied us at that time, making everything gets better.

　　As we both enjoyed the time we got, Beta Benjamin started to break the silence by asking me about my mate, he asked do I find it already or still looking for it.

　　Then I told him that I wanted to focus on the family’s desire to get the throne and never crossed my mind to find a mate in such chaotic circumstances as nowadays.

　　I lied again, not only to myself but to the person who had spent the rest of his life with me. Beta Benjamin and I are like brother and sister, he had been in my life since I was a kid and we grow up together just like siblings.

　　“How about you, did you find one?” I inquired. 

　　He chuckled, shaking his head in a blush after listening to my question. Beta Benjamin’s cheeks turned magenta at that time, sure he found his mate. 

　　“Nope… still looking for the right one, hope I can find it soon!” He responded.

　　“You lied!” I barked at him, laughing softly afterward. “I mean you’re old enough to find your mate! I didn’t believe that there are no Omegas managed to get into your heart all this time” I said.    

　　The face that was filled with rosy cheeks now turned gloomy after he listened to my declaration, then I realized something bothered Beta Benjamin. With a pouty face, I looked at him and move closer to him afterward. 

　　“What’s matter, brother? Did my word cause you this way?” I frowned as I asked him. 

　　Taking a deep breath before running his gaze at me, Beta Benjamin then explained about the mate that he found last year. He said she rejected him after knowing Beta Benjamin was the Red Blood. 

　　She insulted him, telling him that we are nothing but a destroyer that killed so many innocent people and took the land that not belongs to us. She also cursed our pack, yearning for the death of the entire Red-Blood pack members.

　　After listening to her sentences, Beta Benjamin could not help but kill her. At that time he was on duty near the girl’s town. After that, he just used the Omega in town for his enjoyment. 

　　“Sorry to hear that, brother” I sighed and kept continuing. “I just don’t understand why she hated us that bad” I declared. “I mean, we didn’t kill her people, we just do our job in the town next to hers!” I said. 

　　Beta Benjamin then scoffed and said every people in the land of course hated the Red Blood because we are the destroyer. But he did not give a damn about people’s perspective because what we did is to survive. 

　　His respect for the pack made him kill the love of his life, nothing in this world compares to the pack for Beta Benjamin. Even his mate was nothing to him.

　　“Deep in my heart, I wished that I wasn’t part of the Red Blood”
