The thoughts of my father saving everybody who was outside of the gate turned out to be just a trick that my mind created to soften me, my trust guided me to my grave and buried me to my death.

　　Shooting the vampire’s chest turned out not to take him down, the vampire grabbed my ankle when I walked past him, making me fall to the ground, and my torso hit the ground, causing a deep feeling of tightness in my solar plexus.

　　At that time both alpha Drax and the guards had sprinted away from the road, they didn’t notice that the vampire got me before I yelled to let them know about my situation so that they notice my struggle.

　　“He got me, help!” My voice was louder than it used to be; all of them then notice that I was left behind.

　　I tried to free myself by kicking the vampire’s face, but to no avail, he has better strength than I am, at that time I could not help but wait for my people to help me. Realizing I was in danger, my father walked fast to my location while holding the gun.

　　“You scratch her you die!” My father declared as he pointed the gun at the vampire’s face; his location was not far from us, it was only six meters away.

　　The vampire then gets up from the ground, he lifted me and locked my arms, placing them on my back and making me freeze. I whimpered in pain as I felt him squeeze my bones, silencing my father who pointed a gun at his face.

　　“Step further or I crack her bones!” The vampire said; for a big man who strikes alone, the vampire is tough, he is not afraid of death.

　　“You better free her before I shot you with my silver bullet” My father responded; still pointing the gun at him, he didn’t give in.

　　The male vampire scoffed, shaking his head to underestimate my father’s action, his long black hair dancing when his head shook, they become his blazer after he stopped; his hair covered his muscular back.

　　“You must be Alpha Adrian?” He smirked; squeezing my arms even harder.

　　I gritted my teeth to hold the pain I got from it, and swallowed it on my own so that my father didn’t give in after seeing his daughter in pain.

　　“My king had an offer for you...” The vampire said; he took a deep breath before continuing his words, never forgetting to make sure I’m still locked by him and became his shield.

　　“I have no interest in doing business with your kind! Get your hands off my daughter” My father yelled angrily but subtly; he started to pull the trigger and the atmosphere turned even tenser.

　　“You think I’m afraid to kill this little girl in front of you?” The vampire stamped his foot on the ground and sent the sword that was lying on the ground flying, he caught it right after.

　　“You run the bullet at me, I’ll kill your daughter before the bullet reached me” The male vampire declared, showing the deadly sword to my father, he then ran the sword to my neck and made me even freeze.

　　My chest is rising and fell after that, gulping in tension when I feel the sharp sword about to touch my neck.

　　“Get your hand off me” I whimpered in pain, gritting my teeth with the aim of relieving the pain which enveloped my arms, at that time I tried to get him off me, but I couldn’t because I was just a tiny girl.

　　My movement made the male vampire off guard, noticing there is an opportunity to free me from the vampire’s grip, Alpha Drax attacked him and become my savior.

　　He jumped so fast and kicked the vampire’s shoulder, causing the male vampire to fall to the ground. I was also flown to the ground when Alpha Drax knocked him out, my face planting on the ground as I fell.

　　The guards which were standing not far from my location immediately secured me, they dragged my body before the male vampire could get me again.

　　My father walked toward the vampire, his hand kept holding the gun and pointing it at the vampire, and when the vampire was about to lift his face away from the ground, my father shot him without letting him finish his intention.

　　The silver bullet landed right on his forehead and puddles of blood fill all over the road after that, my father’s shot landed perfectly, the vampire is dead now and nothing could stop us again.

　　“Let’s go! We need to stay inside before his friends come” My father said.

　　All of us then leave the location, at that time the guards helped me to walk. We then arrived at the residential area after two minutes of walking and they quickly shut the gate after making sure we all inside.

　　“Elora, do you all right?” My father inquired, by that time they had already rested me in the checkpoint area.

　　“Yes, I’m good” I replied, caressing my arms after; the vampire’s grip haunted me, and I still felt the pain.

　　My eyes then ran around the place, I was scanning over Alpha Drax’s whereabouts, I want to thank him for what he did earlier, but unfortunately, he left the place before I could do my intention, gloomy then covered my pretty face.

　　I watched my father leave the spot after I told him I was fine, he got back to the group to make a plan to defeat the vampires if they were coming. Then my cousin Harrison La Luna approached me, he held something that I can’t stand.

　　“Where did you get those strawberries from?” I inquired.

　　“The guards which just came back from the town brought supplies for the royal, I got these from there” Harrison responded as he took a seat next to me; we both sit on the ground, backs resting against a small tree in the gate checkpoint.

　　“Give me those!” I snatched the fruit that my cousin held in his hand, and quickly eat the fruit afterward.

　　“Ah, easy, cousin, you almost break my fingers!” Harrison groaned.

　　“Sorry, I was starving! And it tastes so damn good” I hummed, chewing all the fruit in my mouth.

　　“I heard the vampire almost got you… How’s your feeling?” He asked.

　　I rolled my eyes in disgust after hearing Harrison La Luna asking about how I felt because I know he never care about people’s shit, especially Adrian’s family.

　　“Why do you care?” I punched him back with a question; kept chewing the fruit in my mouth.

　　“Look, Elora… We’re allies now! If somebody hurt you, it hurt me too!” He said and I laughed in disbelief after that.

　　“That’s weird… You can’t trick me, cousin! I know you were here just to mess around” I chuckled and kept continuing. “Now get off, I need space!” I said.

　　Harrison La Luna can do nothing but sigh, his mouth shut as if he doesn’t want to argue with me, my cousin then makes his way toward the group, doing what he always does, eavesdropping.

　　Chewing the tasty fresh fruit as I sat, I run the last piece of fruit into my mouth, feeling the last taste of the fruit gets into my throat, they run to their last destination, my tummy. After finishing, I get up from the ground and get ready to do the thing that I should have done, helping the Red Blood keep the place safe.

　　I stepped closer to the gate checkpoint after that and then when I arrived, I see Luna Mira and her guards had already surrounded the spot, Luna Mira had something in her mind that she hadn’t told my father yet, I see it when I look at her eyes.
