Darkness accompanied us that night, but I was not afraid of it because my heart was darker than the darkest piece of the world. My hands held the gun that my father gave me when we were still in the residential area of Ascot River earlier; we were walking through the lonely way that moment.

After stopping my father and Luna Mira’s conversation, we went straight to the closed gate and got ready to leave the place. Luna Mira watched us leave at that time; she looked blue as if the piece of her heart goes away from the place it belongs.

Of course, I did not care because she is not my mother, she was just a woman that my father caught feelings with in the past, nothing more, I walked toward the gate as fast as I could so that I will make my father rush to leave Ascot River.

We left the spot after making sure everything is under control, the guns safely stored in our backpacks, the swords we brought enough to kill anything passing us, and of course, food supplies, we will reach the first location before dawn.

My eyes ran around the place when I walked, but there is nothing around, it was just trees and moonlight coming through the trees, the sounds of nocturnal animals also accompanying us at that time, making the place kind of creepy.

“You all right, Lady?” The guard which was walking next to me inquired; he noticed my nerves.

“Yeah, thank you for asking” I chuckled as I kept walking.

On that night, my father was in the first line with two guards by his side, they are taking the first line so that they can protect me, the one and only female wolf in the group, also the only powerless teenager that could lead the group to death because of my weakness.

I promised myself after my father builds the training facility back, I will do my best to train and get my shape. I won’t disappoint myself and my family. Moreover, now I realized this world is not a safe place for fragile people and I need to get out of my comfort zone.

Seven people got back with us that night, that number including my father and me, we only had five guards to keep us safe and left the other with Beta Benjamin in Ascot River's second point.

It is been hours since we all walked through the tiny path in the middle of the hills and woods, and my legs started to get twisty, sure this kind of work does not suit me, plus my vision is not as good as daylight.

“Excuse me, can we stop for a moment, I need some rest!” I said with a heavy breath.

“Just for seconds, please!” I ended my sentences and stopped my walk in the middle of the tiny path.

My father nodded and signaled the guards to keep their watch on me, we all rested in the middle of the tiny path after that with moonlight accompanying us.

After resting my ass on the ground, I grabbed a bottle of water from my backpack and immediately drank it. The water that we got from the river fresh my throat when I swallow it, although this water is not necessarily good for the body, I still drank it.

“Let’s go, we need to move” My father declared; at that time he kept an eye on the place.

I sighed and quickly get off the ground when he demanded to go, grabbing the backpack that was still on the ground, I then start making my way toward my father and the guards.

We continued our journey; thanks to the Moon Goddess everything runs perfectly at that time, there are no rogues and vampires nor even other creatures that stop us. But still, the atmosphere is scary as fuck.

The seven of us kept walking and walking, our sight straight to the front, there is no second we stop our step after the last rest we got earlier, and after hours and hours of walking, we finally arrived at the first location of Ascot River, the spot where Scarlett-Polis people stay.

Mr. Connor opened the gate for the seven of us, he was relieved after finding out we are all safe, and then he pleased my father to come in, at that time the dawn had not hit the ground yet, we arrived early.

“Alpha Adrian, I have been waiting for you!” Mr. Connor said in relived; the Scarlett-Polis people know about the problem that people in the second location had. “How is the second point going?” Mr. Connor inquired.

“Not, good! The vampires entered the second location, bet they will try to enter Eden Spring sooner” My father responded; by that time all of us had already been welcomed and sat in first location checkpoints, we take some rest before continuing our way.

The first location runs well, the defense device was perfectly installed, the electrical shook everywhere and the people were happy. This place is the opposite of the second location which has so much drama in it.

“That’s bad! Poor people” Mr. Connor sighed; his guards then came with a kettle of drink that is odds to me, and they serve it to us afterward.

The drink was red, it has a strong scent that I never smelled before and just looking at it made my tummy nauseous, so I place the drink back on the ground after receiving it.

“Roe blood… Never tried it before, Lady?” Mr. Connor inquired.

At that time all people in the location including my father drank the smelly water, they drank it as if they had never drunk before, so excited as if like they were going to swallow the cup too.

“I will not drink that, but thank you, Mr. Connor!” I flashed him a toothed smile.

My father and Mr. Connor then discuss the Night-Blood people's relocation and like it or not, the Scarlett-Polis people have to stay in Ascot River alone because this place has full equipment to beat the enemy, not like the second point of Ascot River.

After taking a break, we then continued our way, we left the first location after resting there for like thirty minutes, the seven of us getting back to the tiny lonely way.

Dawn had already hit the world at that time and finally, I had a better vision, the scent of morning air also spread all over the place, it gets into my lung and help me to reduce the anxiety that had been stored in my chest and mind.

The road was clear as before, there are no rogues or vampires as far as the eye can see, the seven of us then arrived at the main road after tens of minutes of walking.

Our cars filled the road, and so does the Scarlett-Polis People and the Night-Bloods’ cars, the five guards and both my father and I immediately get into the car as we reached the location. Our ass rested peacefully on the car seats afterward.

“Ugh, finally” I groaned as I felt my back hit the comfy seat, I rested my head against the seat after, and pleasurable started to hit my neck.

“I haven’t slept in days, damn, it felt so good!” I hummed, enjoying the comforting sensation all over my body.

The car then lifted off from the location, my father, the two guards and I were in the first truck while the three guards were in the truck behind us. We drove to Eden Spring at a full speed because my father expected to be there before seven in the morning.

I use the empty hour with sleep, I fell into my subconscious ten minutes after the truck leave Ascot River. I didn’t see anything when I sleep, I used to love long driving but my body just can’t take it anymore so I chose to have a little vacation with my brain instead of fully opening my eyes.

The truck then stopped, after feeling stuck and not moving anymore I open my eyes, rubbing my eyes afterward, then I figure out we had arrived in Eden Spring, the truck parked right in the Red-Blood’s palace driveway.

Without wasting any more time, my father stepped out of the truck, followed by the two guards who were with us at that time, the three other guards also stepped out from the truck which was parked not far from ours, all of them following my father afterward.

They left me in the truck and went straight into the palace, my father was in rush to see my grandmother; he could not wait to tell her about the news about the Night-Blood relocation no matter what happened which concerned me because I don’t think the queen will like it.
