CHAPTER 146 Unholy Alliance

  LYDIA'S POV

As the battle raged on, I searched the room desperately. Then, I saw it: a pendant around Cameron's neck, glowing with the same malevolent energy that fueled the demon. It had to be the key.

"There!" I pointed, drawing everyone's attention to the pendant. "We need to get that pendant!"

I stepped forward to retrieve the pendant, but Manu blocked my path. "No, Lydia, it's too dangerous."

"Get out of my way, Manu," I said, pushing him aside with determination. "Once we get that pendant, everything will be over for good."

Summoning my Lycan strength, I lunged at the demon, my focus solely on the pendant. Brandon and Evan flanked me, their eyes locked on the target as well. Together, we formed a formidable team, each of us determined to end this once and for all.

The demon roared, its claws swiping at us with deadly precision. I dodged and weaved, feeling the rush of adrenaline and the power of my Lycan heritage coursing through my veins. Brandon and Evan were relentless, their movements precise and coordinated. We had trained for moments like this, and our bond made us an unstoppable force.

The air crackled with tension as the demonic figure of Cameron loomed before us. The oppressive energy radiating from him was almost suffocating. My heart pounded in my chest, but my resolve was stronger. This was the moment I had been waiting for, the chance to end the nightmare that Cameron had brought into my life and the lives of so many others.

Brandon and Evan stood by my side, their eyes fixed on the demonic Cameron. We shared a silent understanding; we had to end this, together.

Drawing on the strength of my Lycan heritage, I felt a surge of power course through me. Years of suffering, abuse, and torment under Cameron's rule had forged a deep well of strength within me, a strength I now unleashed in full force.

"Stay close," I said, my voice steady despite the chaos around us. Brandon and Evan nodded, their determination mirroring my own.

The demon roared a bone-chilling sound that echoed through the room. Its claws swiped at us with deadly precision, but we moved as one, dodging and countering with a precision born of countless battles fought together.

Brandon struck first, his blade slicing through the air and connecting with the demon's side. It hissed in pain, its dark eyes glowing with fury. Evan followed with a powerful blow, his strength sending the demon staggering backward. I seized the opportunity, launching myself at the creature with all the force I could muster.

The years of abuse I had endured under Cameron's rule fueled my every move. Each strike, each blow was a cathartic release of all the pain and anger I had buried deep within me. My claws tore into the demon's flesh, my teeth bared in a snarl of defiance.

"Lydia, watch out!" Evan's voice cut through the din of battle. I spun just in time to see the demon's claws coming at me. I barely managed to dodge, feeling the rush of air as the claws missed me by mere inches.

"You can't win, Cameron!" I shouted, my voice filled with the power of my conviction. "Your reign of terror ends here!"

The demon's laugh was a twisted echo of Cameron's, sending chills down my spine. "You think you can defeat me? I am more powerful than ever, I am not the same Cameron anymore!"

But I could see the desperation in its eyes, the flicker of uncertainty. Brandon and Evan were relentless, their attacks coordinated and precise. They had my back, and together we were a force to be reckoned with.

I noticed the pendant around Cameron's neck, pulsing with malevolent energy. It had to be the source of his power. "There!" I pointed, drawing everyone's attention to the pendant. "We need to get that pendant!"

As I lunged for the pendant, Cameron's claws struck out, slicing through the air. Pain seared through my side as his claws connected, but I pushed through it, my focus unwavering. I had endured far worse than this under his rule, and I would not let him win now.

The room was a whirlwind of chaos as the battle against the demon raged on. Shadows and flames intertwined in a macabre dance, the very air thick with malevolence.

Brandon and Evan were at my side, their movements swift and coordinated. The Miller twins fought with a fluid grace, their bond evident in their every motion and they protected me even more fiercely. The demon roared, its claws slashing through the air with deadly precision. The ground trembled beneath us, the very walls of the packhouse shaking with the intensity of the battle.

Evan moved in close, his blade striking the demon's side. The creature howled in pain but retaliated with a vicious swipe that sent Evan sprawling across the room. Blood pooled around him, and my heart lurched. "Evan!" I screamed, but there was no time to check on him.

Brandon took advantage of the distraction, landing a powerful blow that forced the demon back. "We need to get that pendant now!" he shouted, his voice strained.

I nodded, focusing all my energy on the pendant. With a burst of speed, I leaped towards the demon, my claws extended. I latched onto its back, feeling the dark energy pulsing through its form. The demon thrashed, trying to throw me off, but I held on with all my strength.
