CHAPTER 149 Propose

  LYDIA'S POV

With the help of the pack members, we carefully carried Evan away from the ruins. The air was filled with a sense of hope and determination, a stark contrast to the despair we had felt only moments before. As we moved to safety, I kept my hand on Evan's, silently vowing to never let him go.

Once we reached a safe distance, we laid Evan down gently, tending to his injuries with the limited resources we had. The pack members worked together, their unity and strength a testament to the bond we shared. I felt a wave of gratitude for their support and solidarity, knowing that together, we could face anything.

As the night wore on, Evan slowly began to recover. His strength returned bit by bit, and the bond between us grew stronger. The pain of the past 24 hours was still there, a deep scar that would take time to heal. We remained by his side, Brandon silent, his eyes focused on his injured brother, and so was mine.

I could feel the warmth of their presence, a comfort that soothed the turmoil within me. The moonlight filtered through the trees, casting a soft glow over us. It was a surreal contrast to the chaos and destruction we had just escaped from.

Evan's eyes fluttered open, and he looked at us with a weak but grateful smile. "You both... you saved me," he whispered, his voice hoarse.

"Of course, we did," Brandon replied, his voice firm but filled with emotion. "We're a team, remember? We don't leave anyone behind."

I squeezed Evan's hand gently, tears welling up in my eyes. "We couldn't bear to lose you, Evan. You mean everything to us."

Evan's gaze softened as he looked at me, then at Brandon. "You... you're my world. I don't know what I would've done without you and Brandon you are the only family I have I can't survive without you too."

Brandon and I exchanged a glance, a silent understanding passing between us. The bond we shared with Evan was unbreakable, forged through trials and tribulations, and strengthened by our love for each other.

"Lydia," Brandon began, his voice trembling slightly. "There's something Evan and I want to ask you. Something we have been planning for quite some time, but I think this is the right time to say those words."

My brow furrowed in confusion, but Evan nodded, urging Brandon to continue. I looked at Brandon, curiosity and anticipation building within me.

Brandon took a deep breath, then turned to face me. "Lydia, we've been through so much together. We've faced unimaginable horrors and come out stronger because of it. You've been our strength, our light in the darkest times."

He turned to Evan, his eyes filled with determination and love. "Evan, you're my brother, my other half. We've always been inseparable, and now, more than ever, I realize how much we mean to each other. I know you wanted to do this in a grand way but tomorrow is uncertain since you are here, let's make every moment memorable."

My eyes widened in realization, my breath catching in my throat. "Brandon, what are you...? Are you trying to….?"

"You're right. This is the best moment to ask her." Evan answered in agreement.

Brandon held up a hand, silencing him gently. "Lydia, we want to ask you something important. Will you marry us both? Will you be our mate, our partner, our everything?"

The weight of his words hung in the air, and I felt my heart swell with emotion. Tears streamed down my face as I looked at the two men who had become my world. "Yes," I whispered, my voice trembling. "Yes, I will."

Evan's eyes filled with tears as he heard my answer and his hand reached out to grasp mine and Brandon's. "Thank you so much. You have no idea how much we love you."

We embraced the three of us holding each other tightly. In that moment, amidst the ruins and devastation, we found solace and hope. The promise of a new beginning, a future where we could rebuild and heal together.

As the dawn broke, casting a golden light over the landscape, we knew that we had a long road ahead of us. But with each other by our sides, we could face anything. Together, we would rise from the ashes and create a life filled with love, strength, and unity.

The pack gathered around us, their faces reflecting a mixture of relief and happiness. Manu approached, his eyes filled with gratitude and respect.

"Congratulations," he said softly. "You three are truly meant to be together."

"Thank you, Manu," I replied, smiling through my tears. "We'll need your help to rebuild, to make sure our pack thrives again."

As the sun rose higher in the sky, the warmth of its light seemed to chase away the remnants of the night's horrors. We stood together, our pack gathered around us, united in purpose and determination. Manu's eyes met mine, and I saw the same resolve reflected in his gaze.

"We'll do it together," Manu said, his voice firm. "For the pack, for our future."
