ISABELLA'S POV~

　　I swallowed hard as the wolves closed in. One of them let out a menacing growl, baring its teeth, and I knew I had to act fast.

　　I grabbed a handful of sand and flung it at the wolf's face, momentarily blinding it. The wolf yelped in pain, and I took advantage of the distraction to make a run for it.

　　My heart racing, I ran as fast as I could, not daring to look back. But when I finally did, I saw that none of the wolves were chasing ...
