~Aurora~

　　The ones who have been watching me struggle for the entire night…rose up from their seats.

　　The elders, for the very first time, had a look of surprise on their faces.

　　Everyone else just couldn't believe what happened on the scene. Almost three hours prior to my pick up, I had unlocked the most powerful energy of my species. I had gained a wolf.

　　"...Prince Emeric. Are you seeing what I'm seeing?" It was Odin, eyes wide as he stared at me through the globe. I had thrown the head of the beast somewhere far. Not that it could reattach itself. But I was just being careful. I don't want the basilisk to think it had won and feast on the werebear's head.

　　"Yes…"

　　Prince Emeric smiled. It was just as unexpected for him and for me, to have my wolf awakened.

　　'Looks like we have to tell her, Emeric.' Marrok said in his head.

　　'When time comes, we will. Until then, we have to be wary of these people around us both. Especially the one who wouldn't believe what he's just seen.' Saying, Odin and Emeric turned to look at Leif.

　　Somehow, both Odin and Emeric were syncing like twin brothers as they looked at each other. Both heard the story of Leif and I from different perspectives. One of them knows him for his ambitious nature, and the other one knows him as someone with bad nature, having feuds with him within their pack.

　　That's right.

　　Odin had met Leif before. They aren't on good terms, their packs, I mean.

　　Leif, on the other hand, was in utter disbelief.

　　'Leif. You're being watched by others. Control your emotions. I'm sure Emeric is smelling it.' His wolf named Zev warned him. Quickly gaining composure, Leif looked at Emeric's reaction from his periphery. All of them were overjoyed at my awakening, and at my victory! All except for Leif.

　　I wouldn't even want to talk about Beta Roman!

　　Back to the scenario where I was climbing up the mountain, trying to reach for the end spot location. I wouldn't stop talking to my new best friend!

　　I wasn't sure if this kind of relationship establishes this quickly, but Maia is a great wolf to talk to! She's funny, witty and also knowledgeable. Knowledgeable, because she's an element from my subconscious. She knows everything about me, learning about me from my memories!

　　'You're the coolest wolf I've ever met, Maia. Cooler than Odin's wolf too.'

　　'Oh, I still remember the touch of Odin's wolf. Alarick, right? But guess what, I have even softer fur than his! When groomed, I'll be fluffy and full of cuteness! But I'll have to keep shifting into my wolf form. Unless you want to end up like this…'

　　Yeah…

　　This is what any new awakened werewolf dreads about: having to be naked because the clothes were torn!

　　Covering myself with the ripped pieces of my own clothes, I somehow managed to look decent. I know many men are observing me from the witch's globe at the moment. I hope I haven't made them feel uncomfortable!

　　Hours passed by, and I finally reached the end point which was at the side facing the glimpse of sunray, the east of the mountain.

　　Huffing, I sat down. Just then, I saw a helicopter from afar! Just on time!

　　I was gleaming with joy when the ladder was dropped from the helicopter. However, I didn't expect Captain Kingston to start climbing down himself!

　　"Hang onto me!" He yelled through the noise of the helicopter!

　　"Okay!" I agreed, and engulfed him from behind like a koala! Bless me, because I wouldn't have to climb up while my hands are busy keeping my ripped clothes on me!

　　As soon as I reached the belly of the transport, I covered myself up with the jacket they provided.

　　"Haha! Who would have thought, Fangborn! That was amazing! Not to forget, you just made all of us proud by showing how far you've come through these trials! Our kingdom is forever proud of you! And your elders, I swear to Goddess that I heard them discussing throwing a party for you!"

　　"Whoa! That's a first!"

　　"Oh. Is it?"

　　"Yeah…" I sadly uttered,

　　"Who would've thought? With all of us knowing what kind of a person Den Fangborn was, we expected the elders to be a little more lenient with you."

　　"Or maybe concerned with dad, they figured I should grow up in a certain way where I couldn't question their decisions."

　　"That's as sad as it can be, Fangborn.

　　Oh, pardon me.

　　Alpha…Aurora."

　　I closed my ears. The sound of that coming from Captain felt blissful and empowering.

　　"Hmm…say it once again, Captain. Finally…I'm getting what I deserve."

　　And finally, I've proven many people wrong.

　　I'm coming to get an apology from all of them, right now.
