~Aurora~
Prince Emeric instructed us to stay at the Palace for the time being. I had assured him that most of my pack is going to come to us right now. At my signal the guard captain will ensure many of my other Warriors from my back will join the war without hesitation. Hearing this, Emeric was delighted to know that he had unlimited support from not just me but other princes, Emperors and other Alpha of our great alliance.
It was around evening when we decided to head back to the fire incident place. There was no one around us beside Emericand I. I had held his hand close and squeezed it tight when he was feeling a bit low. I could tell right away that he was feeling low.
"...Thank you for your support Aurora. Without all of your help I don't think I could have stood against the sudden uprising against my kingdom." I gave him a small smile and assured that everything would fall back to place. Suddenly he turned towards me and engulfed me in an embrace.
"You are such a cute adorable Man right now!" Overtly I was being supportive and found him cute but at the same time I was having my own thoughts.
"Emeric, i'm sorry that there is an usurping which was begun by Leif against you. I could have never imagined that he would have the courage to fight against you." parting from the hug that we had, Emeric held me by my shoulders and slowly progressed to hold my face with both his palms.
" You are the best thing that has happened to me Aurora. Never lose this spark of yours." I chuckled and questioned him back.
"What Spark do I even have Emeric?. Maybe that is a discussion for another day." I knew that he was pre occupied with many thoughts so I left him be. We were going back to the palace specifically to his chamber so that we could rest for the day. I had my phone on me as I received the call from my pack's guard captain.
"Good evening captain. Please tell me what is the progress." The guard captain immediately replied to my question with,
"Alpha Aurora, everything is going as you have planned. There is hardly any hindrance in our progress and we are shifting more than 80 Warrior Warriors from our pack." I was delighted to hear that the guard captain had planned well according to my wishes. As I cut the call I turned to Emeric. His eyes were wide in gentle surprise. Giggling at his expression I approached him and sat on his lap.
"Why are you so surprised, my love?"
" Aurora, more than surprising, I am delighted to see the progress you have made throughout the selections and the trials. I mean look at you! You are 18 years old with the wool that you have awakened just a few days prior! It is such a great site to see that you are managing everything so well despite all the adversities that you have been facing. His words have warmed me up as I press the gentle kiss on his lips.
" You didn't believe me but all of this is your grace Prince Emeric~" We both chuckled at the tone I spoke with. After a while of silence I had finally asked him why we are still not fighting Leif when we know that he might be in the territory.
Emeric softly shook his head and told me we do not have to waste our energy when we need to not know that Leif might not even be there in the territory.
"My detectors of the kingdom have detected many other Alphas who are ambitious enough to follow Leif's rotten plan." I jump my eyebrows at him. So it is not just Leif who is involved in this uprising, I ask him. He nodded with a sad expression and hence told me that he was way too grateful that all of us have pitched in to help him and the Kingdom. I had asked him not to be ridiculous at this moment and just accept that he had good connections and was a great leader regardless.
Out of the blue there was a call that he had to attend so I left him be. He returned back after the call to give me an expression that told me everything I needed to hear without him telling me a word. I only smiled at him and reassured that I would not step out of his Chambers and let myself fall into another scandal. After kissing my forehead gently Emeric faded out of his chamber. I was left to ponder about nothing but the world, The Prophecy and my parents' mysterious death. I knew I needed to distract myself, so I made my way to the gym. How long it has been since I visited the gymnasium even if it has been just 3 days!
I had visited this place for over bunch of times but I could never get out of the feel that it provided me. I would be proud to say that I was almost attached to this space. This please had provided me and guided me and aided me with equipment, space and everything else to make me the person I am today.
Maia chuckled at my inner thought.
'I never knew you would be feeling so attached to just a space that was not even personal to you.'
I replied back to Maia 'hey! did you know it doesn't necessarily have to be a personal space for me to get attached to the space that enriches me with strength? Part of my resilience was because I was locked into this space.'
'With the intensity that you are feeling so connected with this gymnasium room I have nothing to say against you. I hope that after this war ends, you and I both go into the Woods and take a good Run to discover all the places that we have never even dared to go~'
