~Aurora~

　　I could tell how delighted Emeric was after I told him that I put all of my trust back into him. He knew that. As we laid on the bed naked after our endeavor, he held me in his arms once again and I believed that everything will be fine again.

　　After a moment he sighed into the air and suddenly told me that he had a plan. I was curious as I asked him what it was. He assured me that it would be a great plan and I should not know about it so soon. I found his behavior a little peculiar.

　　"...But don't you think there is a connection between Torin stealing your pack's artifact and the new found power of Leif?" I was staring at him with my blank eyes as I couldn't process what he was saying.

　　"Aurora, there might be a possibility that Leif had gained his new power because of the artifact. This indicates that Torin has always been supporting Leif or at least they're working together to take you down…"

　　I blinked at him and couldn't really point out that I was deceived by Torin. "I know that this is a lot to wrap your head around but this is the truth. I can't imagine anything else other than this, Aurora."

　　"...It is not that I don't believe in you, Emeric. I think I might need sometime to understand that everything has been Leif's fucking plan." My rage Indicated that I was almost done with him.

　　Emeric got out of the bed and left me alone on the bed. I was in my own headspace as he went to the bathroom and couldn't decide if I should act normally or impulsively. But as I was the one who suggested that I should be come headed and reassured emeric that everything would be fine I must act accordingly.

　　Since we could not coordinate with other Alphas, we needed to find our own way to take Leif down. He was using our artifact. There should be something that is a reason why it cannot be taken down. That should also be a drawback for all the power that he was getting from the artifact...

　　As I was wondering about it I heard Emeric call out my name gently from the bathroom. I answered him back and he peeped out of the bathroom with a goofy smile on his face. "Would you like to join me in the shower?" He asked and the offer was more than tempting, biting down on my lip, I climbed out of the bed and followed Emeric to the bathroom.

　　He reached on to my hand and pulled me close to him once again.

　　"You are being very naughty, Emeric." He only chuckled and pressed a kiss on my cheek.

　　"By the way, when do you plan on telling me what you were thinking about?" He only hummed at my request but did not mention when he was going to share his plan with me. After our little shower session we went to the kitchen to find something to eat.

　　Just then I had an idea that we might go for the run in the forest. We could hunt down animals and calm ourselves down. We could also use this opportunity to fulfill the needs of our wolves who have been injured and were shaken psychologically.

　　"Why not?"

　　He smiled back at me and we started going towards the kitchen and went outside into the backyard. Emeric was impressed by the place and the maintenance.

　　"Its been my go to place whenever i was feeling low." I confessed to him as he smiled at me.

　　"Come on now, let's go for the run that we have been thinking about!" As we were preparing ourselves to go to the forest and have our own fun, something stopped Emeric from following my lead. We were still in the backyard as we were talking about a few things not necessary about war but other things.

　　I looked at his expression and knew that he was thinking about something. America. I turned towards him and encouraged him to speak about whatever was going on in this mind. "Aurora, I think you must know about this plan too…" My eyes widened.

　　I nodded eagerly and wanted him to open up to me about the plan that he was plotting. I was more than excited to know that he was trying to piece together puzzle pieces and being a great leader or together again. He was being himself again and I was more than proud that he found resilience. As he briefed me about the plan I couldn't help but appreciate how quick his thinking was. Emeric never fails to impress me, nor did he ever plan a bad plot.

　　The one that his plot includes was Alexia…

　　She was more tainted than all the sins combined. She is a person who has her morals swayed very easily. Hence, Emeric chose her as his target.

　　"But how do we even approach her? It's going to be a task to get her out of the kingdom and present her with the 'offer'." Just then, Emeric smirked at me.

　　I blinked rapidly, not getting why he was Smirking like that. Turns out, he has been in contact with Beta Roman all along!

　　"WHAT!?" I yelled at him,

　　"Your mind link with Roman is that strong!?" I yelled at him in surprise. He chuckled at my expression and held me by my shoulders softly,

　　"It will work out. We just need to trust in Roman that he would send Alexia out of the kingdom. Leif would not need her in the kingdom anymore. She is not under his obligation anymore, isn't she?"

　　"Right…you're a fucking genius, Emeric." A cocky smile spread on his face as he demanded for a sloppy, passionate kiss from me. Everything else has been passionate between us since.
